Well Done, Unlike the vast majority of app developers everywhere, these folks actually fix something when you tell them that it is broken. My ai projects work brilliantly with this app. And chat lanes need no longer lose continuity thanks to better naming processes. I am very glad to have a paying plan. It really is the only way to get trustworthy CSV files to and from Shopify. [OLD REVIEW] You will continue to have this one star rating until you fix this. Works great otherwise when not directly sabotaging scalable behaviors through ignorant file labeling processes [Export ZIP internal CSV filenames not using Custom file name) Shop: redacted Job ID: redacted Job type: Export Format: Matrixify: CSV State: Finished Plan: Basic Issue / Observed behavior When exporting in Matrixify: CSV format with Zip CSV files enabled, the exported ZIP file correctly uses the Custom file name, but the CSV file(s) inside the ZIP keep generic entity/sheet filenames (e.g. Products.csv) and do not include the custom label. This causes our automation/AI pipeline to misfile the extracted CSV, because it keys off the actual CSV filename after unzip. Additionally, our AI tooling does not always accept ZIP files, so we often need the actual CSV file name itself to be labeled. Expected behavior Either: The CSV file(s) inside the ZIP inherit the Custom file name (at least for single-entity exports), or There is an option to prefix/suffix internal CSV filenames with the custom label (e.g. Export_redacted B segment test_Products.csv), or If only one entity is exported and ZIP is enabled, the single CSV inside the ZIP uses the custom name (instead of the generic entity name). Actual behavior ZIP is named with the custom label. Internal CSV filename remains generic (e.g. Products.csv), so the label is lost once extracted/processed. Job configuration details (from Job redacted) Custom file name: Export_redacted segment test Zip CSV files: Enabled Sheet(s) exported: Products only Started: 2026-04-17 23:01:34 Finished: 2026-04-17 23:01:49 Steps to reproduce Create a new export. Select format Matrixify: CSV. Select Products (or any entity). In Options, set Custom file name to any label. Keep Zip CSV files enabled. Run export and download the ZIP. Unzip the file and check the internal CSV filename(s). Impact Automation/AI misfiles the extracted CSV because the meaningful label is not present on the actual CSV file(s) used downstream. Extra processing is required to rename files after extraction, reducing reliability and increasing complexity. References (current documented behavior) Matrixify format template (Matrixify: CSV is a ZIP that contains per-entity CSV files) Matrixify Import and Export Job Options (Custom Name; Zip CSV files) Request: Please advise if there’s any supported way to have internal ZIP CSV filenames include the Custom file name, or if this can be added as an option.]

Done Thank you so much for appreciating our work. ❤️
AND TO MAKE MATTERS WORSE,IT LEAVES THE TRANSLATION DATA AFTER BEING REMOVED! I HAVE BEEN CRAWLED 166,583 TIMES IN THE LAST YEAR BY TECH AND ALL OF IT HAS LAYERS OF OLD AND OUTDATED AND PARTIAL TRANSLATION. HOW DO I SUE THESE MORONS! Direct quote from Shopify support. "You're absolutely right, Howdy—you should have been told that translation data persists after uninstall. That's a critical piece of information that was never disclosed, and it's caused real damage to your store's data integrity. My apologies Howdy!" synopsis: Unknown and unmentioned Quota burns on archived products with no warning, no status filter, no progress indicator. Error message is vague. New products silently skipped. Prior uninstall data retained without disclosure. Transparency and control are critically lacking. Did not even make it to the second language. . The 2-language cap is poorly disclosed, and a separate volume-based quota is not disclosed at all. After uninstalling the app, a language selector dropdown remained embedded in my storefront — again with no notification that theme elements persist after uninstall. This app lacks basic transparency around data retention, quota limits, translation scope, and cleanup on uninstall. These are not minor UX issues — they have direct negative impact on a merchant's storefront, customer experience, and wasted time. Burned my translation quota on archived products with zero warning The app silently consumed my unmentioned machine translation quota translating archived products that will never be sold to a customer. By the time it was done, active products like my newest listing were left untranslated in English — with no notification, no progress indicator, and no way to prioritize active products over archived ones. The error message when quota runs out just says "Machine Translation quota has been reached" — no explanation of what the quota is, how much you've used, or that it even exists beyond the advertised 2-language limit. I only discovered it after the damage was done. There is no filter for product status. No warning before the job runs out. No transparency about limits. For a store with a large catalog that includes archived products, this app is a quota-burning trap that leaves your actual storefront half-translated with no clear path to fix it. To make matters worse, this isn't even my first time with this app — and when I previously uninstalled it, it retained my store data without my knowledge. Years later, reinstalling it and that data was still sitting there. No clean slate, no disclosure that data persists after uninstall. Issues I experienced with Translate & Adapt: * Quota exhausted with no warning — auto-translate ran out mid-job with no progress indicator, no pre-run estimate, and no warning that a volume cap existed beyond the 2-language limit. WOULD NEVER EVEN START ON THE SECOND LANGUAGE TRANSLATION! although it was a language that I had used the first time with this app and it LEFT BEHIND ALL OF THE OLD TRANSLATIONS, NO WARNING, NO KEEPING UP WITH EVOLVING AND CHANGING SEO AND META DATA AND DESCRIPTION! * Archived products consume quota — the app translated archived products that will never be sold, burning through the quota before finishing active products like the newest. * No filtering by product status — no way to tell the app to only translate active products. * Vague error message — "Machine Translation quota has been reached" gives no detail on what the quota is, how much was used, or how to recover. * New products not auto-translated — products already added when the translation run started were silently left in English with no notification. * Language publishing vs. market visibility confusion — publishing a language in the app doesn't make it clear which markets customers can actually access it from. * 2-language auto-translate cap is poorly communicated — the hard limit isn't prominently disclosed before you invest time setting up translations. * Would not actually translate a second language due to internal errors mentioned above. They really should be ashamed of this one.
I really love how well Printify and Printful work for my company. My colors are precious to me and take years to develop. I trust these collection of companies as they get it right. Well done. My only suggestions, always strive for More sizes and it would be nice if more print on demand were available on natural fabrics. Keep up the brilliant work.

Thank you so much for giving us 5 stars, it means a lot to us 💚! About the error you experience, if you ever notice it again, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our support team. We’re always here to help you whenever you need us 🚀.
The app now actually makes it more difficult to access the Printful Dashboard. Where is the direct link button to go to the Printful web site? There is no access to ones templates as the app now opens at Shopify. It would be preferable to be able to go directly to one's templates rather than have to open a new product all the way through. Feel free to fix it rather than publish a one star review. (It is only one star because this does not need to be printed it just needs to be fixed and you all brought it here at the feedback offer) Printful is the best print on demand company on the planet as far as i am concerned and this fix would be nice.

Very disappointing from a designer's perspective. Most of the products do not have extensive size choices even if there are many so-called size options, and most are "Out of Stock" and have been for months. Not impressed. I am not addressing the quality of the "merch" as the app never had enough design mojo to bother ordering samples. Also, bringing anything to the attention of customer care led to repeated and repeated emails wanting to know "How are we doing?" Not so good, try offering products that are in stock or quit bothering to offer them. And get off your "tiny people" notions of fashion, please. We apologize for any disappointment you experienced as a designer. We understand the importance of offering a wide range of sizes and acknowledge that we have fallen short of your expectations. We regularly update our product offerings, so please stay tuned with us. We also appreciate your feedback on our design options and Customer Care emails. Your input is valuable, and we will strive to enhance our offerings and communication. Thank you for bringing these concerns to our attention as we continuously work to improve the customer experience. Sincerely, Anton NovaTomato Team
Very disappointing so far. I was looking for a fabric supplier for my web page only to find that, oops thats the ONE product we don't integrate to Shopify! Is that why I could never find it after saving and being informed it was at my account? Is that still the understanding about your fabric at Shopify? Now I have found a much desired wrap skirt only to now not be able to find the designs of it I have saved. Please inform me where they went as searching with the word SAVE or HOW TO SAVE at help brings up ZERO. Images uploading failed most of the time if they were close to the limit, although still under. I was never able to KEEP more than 2 images at the design interface upload space and still upload another. Also, Printfull has a fully operational filing system for every uploaded image I have put there. Did I miss that place in your app? It is difficult to build respect for companies that don't treat my files as the most important thing there, Your cloth is naked without such. Find more respect in the way you treat artists at their copyrighted work. As for the interface so far, Just looking at the same things Shopify offers but with a lot less functionality at it is not terribly inspiring so far. It also feels like the design space offers about one/fifth of the functionality I find at Contrado or Printful space, those things vary and ones needs to be adaptable, but really, no mirror option? Am I right that there is no mirror or tile function in the design interface? At a Fabric Company? I have been unable to find any of the product I have created here so far, all I see are all of the products from my store listed, quite beautifully I might add, the only actions being available to that space are ignore, unsync, and delete from Shopify! No editing options but DELETE, really? Just introduced and your app can delete unrelated things at my Shopify store. Honestly why do you need that there? Granted it is a pretty interface that is nice for searching but there seems to be only the option of editing the product at Shopify one at a time. Believe me if you could build an interface that made up for the significant limitations at bulk editing at Shopify we would all adore you (especially seo and image labeling, or actually integrating shipping, rather than "free shipping" gimmick or etc. etc ; ) I will keep looking for the products I saved, and definitely don't mind being wrong about any of these points. Please point out where that is the case, as I am not wanting to quit interfacing. I really like that wrap skirt even if you can't fulfill fabric for a Shopify integration. (Please remember, me having to manually inform you of an order is not integration at Shopify, it's not like that is it?) River Jade Smith @ River Jade Smithy, https://riverjadesmithy.com
