Terms of use

HeyApps is an independent directory of the Shopify App Store: apps, their developers, merchant reviews, and the stores that wrote them. By using HeyApps you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

App listings, developer profiles, categories, and reviews are collected from the public pages of the Shopify App Store.

Store domains and contact email addresses are collected from public search results and from the store names themselves. We don't obtain them from Shopify, from the stores, or from any private source. Because they come from public search results they can be outdated, incomplete, or belong to someone other than the store, and they are provided as is, without any guarantee of accuracy.

Reviews that Shopify no longer shows are kept only as counts and marks: their text and authors are not displayed.

You are responsible for how you use any domain or email address you see on HeyApps. In particular you agree to:

• follow the anti-spam, marketing, and data protection laws that apply to you and to the people you contact — for example CAN-SPAM in the US, CASL in Canada, and the GDPR, UK GDPR, and ePrivacy/PECR rules in Europe, which can require prior consent before emailing individuals and sole traders;
• contact merchants one to one and relevantly, identify yourself, and give every recipient an easy way to opt out — and honour it straight away;
• not send bulk or automated unsolicited email, not add merchants to mailing lists without their consent, and not use the data for harassment, fraud, or anything unlawful;
• not resell, publish, or share contact details obtained through HeyApps, and stop using and delete them if the merchant asks you to.

HeyApps only shows where contact details were found; it does not send messages for you and is not responsible for the messages you send.

• Accounts are personal. Keep access to your email inbox secure.
• Don't scrape, crawl, or bulk-download HeyApps, get around its limits (such as the daily number of email reveals), or create accounts to do so.
• We may limit, suspend, or close accounts that break these terms or put merchants, other users, or the service at risk.

Shopify and the Shopify App Store are trademarks of Shopify Inc. HeyApps is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Shopify. App names, logos, and reviews belong to their respective owners.

HeyApps is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including about the accuracy, completeness, or availability of its data. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from your use of the data or from messages you send.

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and continuing to use HeyApps after a change means you accept it.
