I was part of the early testing phase for Twist: Stock Take, as we were already using their Scan Picker app. The Stock Take app has greatly improved how we manage inventory across our complex warehouse, retail, and pre-order setup. It’s fast and responsive (even on a tablet), delivers accurate counts, and is clearly built for real-world use. Features like barcode scanning with live validation, metafield integration for bin locations, and clear committed stock visibility make it stand out from other apps we’ve tried. The developer is responsive and genuinely welcomes feedback, which shows in how well the app performs straight out of the box. Highly recommend this app for serious stocktaking.

I've been trialling Scan Picker for the past week and have been impressed by its clean interface and how smoothly it integrates with the Shopify order screen. This alone sets it apart from a similar app we're currently using. Scan Picker is fast and easy to use, with a few handy extras like bin locations and product notes. It even supports our existing metafield bin locations, so our warehouse locations show up instantly with no onboarding required. During testing, we suggested four new features - including saving partially picked orders, and showing stock availability etc - and the developers have been highly responsive and open to feedback. These updates are already in progress, which we are excited about. I'm looking forward to seeing how Scan Picker evolves, as it's already showing strong potential as a daily tool in our workflow.
