PagePilot: AI Page Builder

Very disappointing experience with PagePilot. I purchased the Lite Plan through Shopify and only after paying did I discover, through support, that the Shopify version and the Website version operate as separate platforms with separate subscriptions. The main issue is that the Website version includes access to MCP, which was one of the main features I needed, while the Lite Plan I purchased through Shopify does not give me access to it. On top of that, the Website version was available with a 30% discount. In practice, I ended up paying more for a version that offers less for my use case. What I find most frustrating is that such an important difference was not made clear enough before purchase. I only received a proper explanation after I had already paid and contacted support. I ultimately had to request a refund so I could move to the correct version. The product itself may be useful, but the purchasing process and lack of transparency between the two versions created a very poor customer experience.

This app feels misleading because it gives the impression that once you add products, the dropshipping process is automated and you simply earn a share of the profit. In reality, you're often responsible for purchasing the product yourself and covering shipping costs unless you already have a dedicated dropshipping supplier in place, which can be expensive. Using AliExpress creates additional challenges. Customers may wait weeks for delivery, and many suppliers have minimum order requirements, making it difficult or impossible to purchase a single item for a customer order. Overall, the business model presented by the app doesn't match the reality, making it a frustrating and unprofitable experience.
