good product, rich functions, support team is so nice and fast response, big recommendation!

I've tried other table comparison apps, and nothing compares to this app. Shopify frequently changes its API, which leads to broken apps unless developers fix it. This developer has always been fast to resolve issues and respond to support requests. I previously used another table comparison app that stopped working, and the developer refused to respond. When subscribing to an app, you're also subscribing to the support and updates. The app is also easy to use, easy to set up, customizable, with top-tier support. If you’re looking for a table comparison app, look no further than Bear Specs & Compare. I can’t recommend it enough. This is an excellent app. Set up, editing and localization are simple. The Spec Table itself looks great and can be customised somewhat (although we have found it looks great by default), and the functionality is very flexible—there is nothing we have wanted to do that we couldn't do using metafields and variant options. Spec & Compare was a perfect upgrade to our Product detail page. We use it since around 6 months and love it's deep integration with shopify metafields. I found this app to be an absolute nightmare to set up. I installed it and uninstalled it three times because I really wanted it to work. Instead, there have been many hours of my life wasted on this. Support was slow and robotic. I would guess this app is good if you have a small product range and want to tinker, tinker, tinker with your site. Otherwise, bleah. I note that developers were quicker, and more thorough in their reply to this review than they ever were when I reached out for their assistance. We're sorry to hear you did not like the app, although we feel your review is highly unfair. We did our best to help you; we gave you links to documentation, screenshots, and more. Unfortunately, whenever we tried to help you, you never answered, making it extremely hard to give you any help. You did not respond to our instructions, leaving us in the dark about where you were being stuck. We tried our best with you, but support is not a single-handed effort. You also have to answer and try to tell us exactly where you are stuck so we can help you further. Also, answering us, "I am sure you are nice people, but right now, I fucking hate you," to the uninstall reason while we just tried to help you set up the app is highly disrespectful. All our other customers find the app easy to use. We sincerely hope that you are treating your customers more politely. We'd prefer you not re-install our app in the future, as we don't want to deal with merchants like you.

Amazing app with a whole bunch of customisation options to get it exactly as you would like. So far the only downside I have is how the table formats on mobile however it does still complete its purpose better than competitors. I had a bug on the display of the table and contacted the dev team, they were exceptional in fixing the issue within a week even going as far as buying another monitor just to try and replicate the issue we were facing. Ultimately this worked and they found the issue then implemented a fix straight away which has fixed our site. Can't fault it at all. Thanks a lot for your review. We would like to apologize once again for the monitor-specific problem you faced and the few extra days we had to spend fixing it, but we are happy to hear you like the app!

Looked at various apps and this one is doing a very good job. Good control over the design, but foremost: it pulls all meta data default and in translated versions from our Muliti language store, many filtering apps are not able to do. Clean interface, easy to configure. So basically nothing wrong with it

This app is one of the best i have ever used. It looks great(customable), works great. The support team is excellent and fast. If you need specification tables, i recommend using this app or at least try it.

The best app for adding specifications to a website. Super easy to use and implement with lots of options, but more important: the support is outstanding. Had a problem which was fixed within 24 hours, even though they told me to get it fixed next week. I compared a lot of apps for specifications, but this one is by far the best.

I've migrated to this app from another compare app and I couldn't be happier. This is completely editable with a little know-how, can hook up Javascript events etc. Much faster loading. Support has also been fantastic as well.

The program is good but there need to be an bulk update. Its take a lot of time to do it mannualy. Maybe an option like Metafields Guru?

A great app. Working with the developer, they implemented a feature they thought was a good idea from one of my questions. After testing 4 other comparison apps, this was the only one that met most of our needs. Can group different product types together. Super helpful. And also, can use the same metafield for different product types, which is CRITICAL for backend management. Pretty cool to know this software will probably only get better.

Can't say enough good things about the app and the developer(s) behind it. They've been immensely helpful and have worked with me to make sure it fits my needs multiple times now. Would give this more than 5 starts if I could.

This app is excellent, and the developer is even better. I had the day off for Christmas so I went to play around with getting this app set up, and I had a lot of questions and customization needs. Not only did the developer spend 2 hours of his Christmas night answering all my questions and helping me implement the solutions, but the end result is absolutely stunning. The app also has great customization features which is important for a store like ours that is heavily customized. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Thank you for the great app!

Totally amazing app and support. We had been looking for a Specs feature for a while, we trialled this app and found it didn't work as expected so uninstalled (this is where the amazing service happened). They reached out to us and asked us why we had uninstalled and I told them about the problem, they asked us to reinstall and try again. We did with the same problem, the team at Bear took the time to investigate, found a problem with another mega menu app with a legacy implementation. We uninstalled the other app and Bear worked perfectly, it looks amazing and works perfectly. Bear even reached out to the other app developer to tell them the issue. I cannot fault the team for their app or the support they offered, they went over and above.

I am speechless about the excellent support. I have contacted support to ask if there is a way to list collections linked to the product as a URL within the table. A few hours later, the feature was already implemented. Outstanding!

After trying several comparison apps, Spec & Compare ended up being the perfect one! You're able to customize the tables a bit more, the tables don't include a collection selection list to choose products from like many other apps show, connects to metafields perfectly, pulls the first product image photo that is in the product admin side of Shopify, allows you to add spacing vertically and horizontally, etc. I also like the idea of being able to have several comparison groups per product type. Great app. I only wish that there was an option to move the "Compare" button that comes up once an item is added to the compare, and also for the compare selection to reset after some time.
