Audioly ‑ Sticky Audio Player

A Limited App and a Very Disappointing Customer Support Experience After using Audioly – Sticky Audio Player on my Shopify store, my overall experience has been negative, both because of the application's limitations and the customer support provided by the developer. Regarding functionality, the app offers fairly limited customisation options, outdated playback controls, and very little flexibility for stores that sell audio products. In my case, I also experienced functionality issues that ultimately led me to uninstall it. I believe several important areas need improvement, particularly the user experience, player features, and configuration options. However, the biggest disappointment has been customer support. Support is handled almost exclusively through email, with no immediate assistance available. Throughout my communications with the developer, I found the attitude and level of professionalism disappointing, and the willingness to properly address the issues was insufficient. After uninstalling the app due to the problems I experienced, I requested a refund for the charges. The developer agreed to issue only a partial refund covering the unused days after uninstallation but refused to refund the previous period, arguing that the application had been actively used. In my opinion, the fact that an application was installed and used does not necessarily mean it was functioning correctly or delivering the service customers were paying for. The situation eventually required the involvement of Shopify Support, and even then, no resolution that I consider satisfactory has been reached. I fully understand that any application can have bugs, limitations, or technical issues. What truly makes the difference is how the developer responds when customers encounter these problems. Unfortunately, my experience in that regard was equally disappointing. My rating is one star, mainly due to the combination of technical limitations, functionality issues, and customer support that falls well below reasonable expectations. I would not recommend this application to merchants looking for a flexible audio player with advanced customisation options and reliable technical support.

It serves its purpose quite well by only wish is that it provided play metrics that were detectable by meta/GA

This is a perfect app to showcase audio on individual products. its one of a kind and I hope they are here to stay!

This app is by far the best play button and audio playback app on Shopify. It's well done and it addressed a major need. I can see a very bright future for the app if it keeps on developing. Again top audio app, very fast customer service and professional on all levels. Many thanks! ; )

This is a great, clean, easy to use app that I highly recommend. Hands down the best sound file app on the market (I tried several!). In addition to it being a great app, it is constantly being upgraded and the developer has already helped me a couple times to customize it slightly for my needs. Great app! Great developer!

It's a great product and I love the UI...however I need to play multiple sample audio files per product as I'll be selling vinyl records and potential customers will need multiple previews from the same record. For now I'll wait for that update before I purchase.
