Easy to use. I've made several tests pretending to be a customer, and it worked well. Had some troubles installing on my phone, ended with an app called PING - quite confusing. But now I receive all the customer messages, from Facebook Messanger and Shopify Chat, in one place.

Yes, Shopify Ping which is free to use, is required to use Shopify Chat. It's like a big inbox on your phone, as you have figured out. Super easy to set up. Very clear instructions and fast installation. It seems is working very smoothly on my website. I'm currently using a free theme.
Great app, I recommend it. The support is super. In only 24 hours, they helped me to fix an issue with my theme. The app is easy to use - you have the original text on the left and the translation on the right. You can also scan your website and translate using AI - in the end, just run through the translated text and verify the accuracy.
