We used UX Agent while optimizing several of our most important product pages, and it gave our team a much better way to make UX decisions. Instead of debating layouts based only on personal opinion, we could investigate real shopper behavior: where users repeatedly opened sections to find product details, struggled with horizontal content on mobile, searched for shipping and warranty information, or immediately dismissed a promotional popup. The follow-up analysis was especially useful. We used it to review our PDPs, newsletter popup, and announcement bar, and it helped separate direct session evidence from assumptions and things the available data could not confirm. That made it easier to prioritize meaningful changes instead of reacting to every possible issue. It is not a replacement for human judgment, and some AI recommendations still need to be challenged and interpreted. But as a factual starting point for design and development, especially when working alongside a coding agent, it has been genuinely valuable for our Shopify optimization process.
