The app works well and the developer is responsive. However, it is stupidly expensive for what it does. Frankly, this functionality really should already be in Shopify directly for free. It is pretty bizarre that it isn't; as it strikes me as very basic functionality. This app works fine though.
Doesn't work. I had to setup a 100% discount code and a free shipping code for a social media company I work with to test their code. They couldn't get the codes to work. I set up different codes twice. But still no joy. So, this doesn't work. Hence 1 star. Zero stars really as it doesn't do the sole thing everyone is installing it for. SIDE NOTE - Shopify. Hellooooo? Why is it still not possible to combine codes out of the box? Merchants have been requesting this for YEARS and you keep ignoring them. It is frankly shameful that anyone would even need an add-on paid app for something as simple as this.
Regrettably, I am going to have to give this 1 star. It just doesn't work very well. When I make changes on my site they are not reflected in the feed. The developer IS responsive. But I simply don't believe that the feed is generated automatically by the site. I think that the developer tweaks it at the backend manually if you email him. Accordingly, for anything where you make any changes this just isn't a good option. I emailed the developer and he said he is 2 months away from a better version. I may well look at this again at the end of 2020, beginning of 2021. But until then I need something that works automatically without me having to email the developer and ask for changes (which are then on his site, because the feed is actually hosted on his website, which seems odd to me anyway.) In any case, this really is pretty basic. There isn't much (any really) tweaking that you can do to the feed. So, for example if you have one image mockup that say shows the back of your product (rather then the front). Then that will show up in the feed. I ended up having to go on Pinterest and delete all the ones that weren't suitable, because I couldn't just delete them in the feed directly. Overall, I would rate the support of this app very highly. But the app itself simply isn't good enough.

Thank you for your honest feedback! We're working on adding features to allow for more control over product images and other feed fields. If a certain feature is not yet available, then I'm always happy to manually make changes to make the feed work for your store. I can assure you that all our feeds are indeed updating automatically and you can manually refresh as well by clicking the Refresh button in the app. Thanks, Nick
My initial experience with Aftership was poor. I had a problem and sent 5 emails over the course of 22 days without getting a response. My review on 20th Aug 2020 was 1 star and read as follows: ------ AVOID. Hands down the worst customer service of ANY app I've installed. I have sent around 5 emails over the last 22 days without ever getting a response to my query. This also isn't a small issue. It relates to the fundamental working of the tracking function. If it wasn't for the fact that currently this is the only app to have integrations with certain other apps that I am using, then I would long since have deleted it, because this company honestly has such appalling customer service. They simply appear not to care at all about their customers. They never answer emails. They ignore support requests. This is definitely one to avoid if at all possible. ---- UPDATE 20th August 2020: Mukul at Aftership reached out to me quickly (within an hour) after I posted this review and helped to remedy the issue over a Zoom call. He said that they hadn't recieved my emails. While, honestly, I'm slightly dubious. I do accept that in this age of spam filters it is possible. So given his subsequent very helpful call, I'm happy to give Aftership the benefit of the doubt. One thing I would advise future readers of this is that if you don't hear from Aftership after a couple of days, then possibly try a different email address, as they may not have recieved it. Posting an honest review of your experience here also seems to work. I haven't had enough 'real world' usage of the app to rate it in the functional sense of the app. My initial first 22 day experience with Aftership was 1 Star. My experience with Mukul today was 5 star. So, I'll settle on an average of 3 stars until I know more about how the app performs in the real-world, and whether my support experience for the first couple of weeks was an unfortunate technical mistake and an aberation; or indicative of a more usual pattern. Time will tell. For now though, it does seem to be working.
