Bear and Raven Antiques

The app works well and has increased our sales by allowing potential buyers to make an offer on our products (antiques and collectibles). I was using another app previously and feel that Offerly works as well and charges significantly lower fees. During the setup I experienced a problem due to some edits I did to several java scripts that were suggested by others to increase speed. A customer service rep reviewed what might be causing the errors and fixed them free of additional charge. That is great service and I really appreciated it.

The Social Bar is much more visible than the built-in icons that are standard with Shopify, especially once you get it working correctly. I experienced a number of glitches when setting it up, including having the social bar disappear entirely for some reason, requiring me to set it up again. Also the tool tips didn't appear until I removed them and then added them back. One thing for sure though, the support people are very quick at responding and worked with me to address the issues over what turned out to be a series of messages. They seem very committed to ensuring that the product works. I Unfortunately, given the amount of time and effort I had to spend getting it to work, I can't give it a full 5 stars. It's still very useful if either you're lucky and it works right out of the box, or you have the time and patience to play with it until it does. I am currently on the free plan but will likely upgrade to the paid plan in order to promote people to follow more of our social media sites.

Not only is this one of the only if not the only Shopify app I could find to allow customers to make offers (which is critical in the vintage and antique space), but the app works quite well and the support really has been very good. At one point I updated my theme to a new version and this broke make an offer. I couldn't figure out what the problem was but they put a developer on it and eventually solved the problem. Not only that, but the customer service person did a great job at keeping me in the loop and letting me know the status. These guys are a small business and you can tell that they want to do a great job. I am very happy with them.
