We really wanted Trunk to be the answer for syncing inventory between our Shopify stores, but unfortunately, it ended up creating more problems than it solved. At first, it seemed like a solid tool, but over time it became a constant headache. The monthly subscription price kept creeping up, which might have been manageable if the software actually worked as expected — but it didn’t. The biggest issue we faced was inventory accuracy. With thousands of SKUs, Trunk repeatedly made mistakes when updating stock levels between stores. We dealt with frequent oversells and found in-stock items marked as unavailable. These errors weren’t just annoying — they hurt our bottom line and disrupted our operations. Fixing these issues required a lot of manual intervention, which completely defeats the purpose of using an automation tool in the first place. It’s been time-consuming, costly, and damaging to customer confidence. After giving it plenty of time and chances to improve, we’ve decided to walk away. If you’re managing a large catalog or multiple stores, be careful — this app might end up doing more harm than good.

We're really sorry about the bad experience you've had with Trunk. We take issues like this very seriously and would have investigated why you're seeing issues but there doesn't seem to be a support ticket created regarding this. We just sent you a message if you're willing to give us another chance and can offer a comped duration for your troubles. Please let us know, thanks.

**UPDATE** App has failed and is not functional anymore. Support is ghosting and not responding to any support requests. The app is multiplying synced inventory by 5's. If you have 1 in stock, the app will update to 5, if you have 3 in stock, the app will update to 15. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- We've been testing the UniSync: Multi Stock Sync app with two of our Shopify stores, as we consider replacing our current syncing system on several other stores. Overall, the app is easy to use and runs quite efficiently when syncing inventory between our stores, especially when it comes to product adjustments, which happen quickly. The simplicity of the interface is a big plus—no unnecessary complexity. However, there is one major issue we've encountered, which has to do with syncing new products. When a product from the main store with inventory is copied over to a "sub store," the inventory doesn't automatically sync with the newly created product. This means we have to manually run a force sync or wait for the app to run its scheduled sync once or twice a day. In the worst-case scenario, this could result in the new product going without inventory updates for up to 24 hours, which isn't ideal for a seamless operation. It would be incredibly useful if UniSync could recognize newly created products and automatically trigger an inventory update for them without needing a manual sync or delay. This small improvement would make the app a lot more reliable for real-time inventory management across multiple stores. Overall, while the app has been performing well for general syncing, we'd love to see an enhancement in how it handles newly added products. If this issue is addressed, UniSync would be a strong contender for replacing our current syncing system.

We’ve been using the Oxilayer PDF Invoice Generator for our Shopify store, and we couldn’t be more impressed! The app itself is outstanding, providing everything we need for creating professional invoices. But what truly sets it apart is the incredible customer support. From the start, the Oxilayer team has gone above and beyond to assist us. Their support is quick, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. We had a specific need for multi-location functionality, and they didn’t just suggest workarounds — they worked with us to create a tailored solution that no other app offers. It's clear that they genuinely care about their customers and are committed to providing the best experience possible. If you're running a business with multiple locations and need a robust, flexible invoicing solution, look no further than Oxilayer. The combination of top-tier customer service and unparalleled functionality makes this app a must-have!

While the app seems like a fantastic idea, the app is too far from perfect. The app does not allow for a full hands-on trial. You are only limited to the “Free Version” that in the essence is a useless tier. In order to really test drive the app you will need to purchase a paid plan, oh wait your store has too many products so you’ll need to be on the top paid tier. Wow… $60.00 just to test an app… Yikes. Turns out the app was not successful at editing our metafields and has now filled in $0.00, now causing other issues. When trying to talk with support they are not addressing our real problem, they keep trying to blame the user for the issues as well as keep touting how wonderful the app is. Too bad to say the least… I would review some other apps before working with Metafields Guru (not). All in all, we tossed out $60.00, so a pretty good win for the developer I suppose.

Well, today is the day - our first negative review 🙃. For the sake of justice, I’d like to share more details about this situation. The merchant reached out to us and reported an issue with the data they imported from a CSV file using our app. Upon further investigation, I discovered that the data was imported correctly. However, even though the data was correct in the backend, it was not getting displayed on the storefront. Usually, this indicates a theme problem, so I offered help with checking this theory. The merchant provided me with access to their store and I checked the source code of their active theme. Turned out that there was a piece of code that converted string metafields into numbers before displaying them on the product page. The problem was that said code expected values to be formatted in a very specific way. The merchant accidentally used a slightly different format while populating values in their CSV file, which resulted in the code being unable to process the data. I offered two different options for resolving the issue, and it looks like the merchant ended up using one of them. But the merchant was still upset about the situation, so they decided to keep this review. It's a shame that a third-party issue ruined the experience of using our app. - Sasha

The concept is fantastic, however that being said… the app is pretty much useless. The app comes with no support and requires you to hire a Shopify Expert to install the app. Once the app is installed it does not function, it just shows “loading..” it never actually loads the information.

We had an issue with receiving support tickets. This should be resolved now. Could you please reach out to inventory.support@jtcinteractive.com?

Great support, app still needs a little work but it’s definitely headed in the right direction. Hoping to set whole brands to show MAP pricing vs individual products. All in all a good app, great for those that need to comply with MAP pricing.

By far the best app for checking orders as well as inventory. Top support too, very responsive and open to new ideas for the app.
