A company that is far from professional—stay away! I installed the app on my Shopify store, and they called me the very next day. They contacted me via both WhatsApp and phone to request the necessary documents, and I sent them exactly what they asked for. Everything was perfect up to that point... But now, I’ve been waiting for a response from them for nearly 10 days!

Dan reached out personally and handled our conversation with exceptional professionalism. What impressed me most was that he genuinely listened to my feedback, took the time to understand it properly, and treated it as something valuable that could help improve the product and experience for other merchants. It’s refreshing to communicate with a team that doesn’t simply acknowledge feedback, but actually investigates it, learns from it, and looks for ways to turn it into meaningful improvements. Dan was transparent, thoughtful, and genuinely interested in understanding our experience. As a business owner myself, I especially appreciate this kind of approach from a small team — customer feedback can be incredibly valuable when it is taken seriously and used constructively. I really appreciate the personal attention and professionalism Dan showed throughout our conversation. Wishing the GetSale team continued success and growth.

UPDATE: Excellent Support and a Fair Resolution I originally left a 1-star review after seeing a $15 charge through Shopify Billing after I had already uninstalled Judge.me. Following my review, Isabela, a Team Lead at Judge.me, personally reached out to me. She clearly explained that the charge related to a subscription period that had already started while the app was still installed and that uninstalling the app had correctly stopped future renewals. She also acknowledged that this could have been communicated more clearly and issued a full refund of the $15 charge. I really appreciate the way Isabela handled the situation. She was professional, transparent, and fair, and my concern was fully resolved. Customer service should be judged not only by whether problems occur, but also by how a company responds when they do. In this case, Judge.me handled the resolution very well. I’m therefore updating my original 1-star review to 5 stars based on the support and resolution I received. Thank you, Isabela.

I’ve tested several AI product video tools, and this app takes a much smarter approach for ecommerce. What I like most is that it doesn’t try to reinvent the product or generate unnecessary AI scenes. It simply turns the actual product images from my Shopify catalog into a clean, animated product showcase. That is especially important for jewelry. With generative AI video tools, small product details can change, stones can look different, shapes can become distorted, or the final video may no longer accurately represent what the customer will receive. This app avoids that problem completely by working with the real product images. The customer can play the video and quickly see the entire product gallery in sequence — from the main product images and close-ups to lifestyle shots and even the final unboxing images. Then, after watching the video, they can continue through the product gallery and zoom into the exact same images they just saw. I think this creates an excellent shopping experience: the video provides a quick visual overview, while the original images remain available for detailed inspection. The Ken Burns effect, subtle motion, music, and transitions are enough to make static product photography feel like a polished product showcase without altering the actual product. For stores with large catalogs, the bulk generation feature makes this even more useful. One improvement I would really like to see is a fully functional custom brand watermark/logo option embedded directly into the exported videos. The current branding/logo settings do not appear in the generated MP4 videos. Being able to automatically apply a store logo to every bulk-generated video would make the feature much more complete. Another issue I noticed is that the generated videos currently appear with a dark/black cover thumbnail in the Shopify product gallery. I have to manually upload a cover image for each video to make the product gallery look polished. It would be very useful if the app could automatically use the product’s main image, or another selected product image, as the video cover when the video is added to Shopify. Overall, I really like the philosophy behind this app: enhance the existing product photography instead of letting AI invent a different product. For ecommerce, accuracy matters — and this approach gets that right.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a thoughtful and detailed review. We truly appreciate not only your positive feedback, but also the way you described the philosophy behind our app. One of our main goals is exactly what you highlighted: helping merchants create engaging product videos while preserving the accuracy of the original product photography. We believe this is especially important for products where small visual details matter. Your feedback regarding the custom brand logo/watermark and the video cover thumbnail is extremely valuable to us. We completely understand how important these features are, particularly when generating and publishing videos in bulk. We are reviewing both issues carefully and will work to improve them so that branding can be properly applied to exported videos and video covers can be handled more seamlessly when publishing to Shopify. Feedback like yours helps us understand what merchants actually need in their day-to-day workflow and where we should focus our development efforts. Our goal is to continuously improve the app and make it as reliable, practical, and useful as possible for Shopify merchants. We will do our best to address the current limitations and deliver a better experience in future updates. Thank you again for your support, your detailed suggestions, and for giving our app a try. It genuinely helps us make the product better.

A COMPLETELY USELESS APP! It is honestly hard to understand how this app has received so many 5-star reviews. For anyone considering installing Discounty, I’m sharing my actual conversation with their support team below. My message to Sarah: Hi Sarah! I created a 25% off Bulk Price Editor campaign for my entire store. The campaign shows as Active and says 207 discounted variants, but the discounted prices are not showing on my storefront. The product pages still display the original prices. Could you please check why the price changes haven't been applied? You ask “Sarah” a question, and “Harry” answers. :) Harry: Hi Hasan, This is Harry here from the team. I hope you are doing well. I'm glad you reached out to us. Thank you very much for sharing this. May I ask if you’re using fixed prices for your market? I’m asking because fixed prices are hardcoded in Shopify, and will override the discounts. :) Great answer, Harry! Apparently, even Harry doesn’t seem to understand what this app is supposed to do. :) My response: Hi Harry, Yes, I am using fixed prices for my market. However, I don't understand why this should prevent Discounty from doing what I subscribed to it for. I subscribed to Discounty specifically to apply a 25% price reduction to my existing store prices. Your system allowed me to create the campaign, shows it as Active, and currently reports 207 active discounted variants — yet the prices customers see on my storefront have not changed at all. I don't want to manually change hundreds of product prices. That is exactly why I subscribed to a bulk price editor. Please tell me how Discounty can apply the 25% reduction to my existing fixed prices, or what exact setting needs to be changed for this to work. So, before replying to “Harry” — or was it “Sarah”? — perhaps you should wait for Meloni to answer first. :) This one is on us, and we’re sorry. You were right on both counts: the app showed the campaign as active even though nothing had changed on your storefront for those markets, and the answer we gave never solved what you actually needed: a 25% discount in a market that uses fixed prices. At the moment, we don’t support that use case, and we appreciate you taking the time to explain the issue so clearly. Your feedback made it clear that we need to improve this part of the user experience. We emailed you on Friday and are following up with more details, along with a way to apply your 25% discount in bulk through Shopify. We’d really like to make this right and improve your experience with Discounty.
