Avoid anything to do with Booster SEO and any of their apps as it will mess up your SEO, rewrite your Meta titles, Meta descriptions, ALT Text and NOINDEX your products oh and Charge you even though you are in a trial and when you raise the issue they ignore the issue. Terrible Service, Terrible app and an absolute headache to sort the errors once deleted. Install at your own risk!!!!!!!!!!

We do want to clarify for anyone reading that the concerns mentioned here (meta titles, meta descriptions, alt text, noindex tags, and billing during trial) relate to our Booster SEO app, rather than Booster Page Speed Optimizer, which is a separate app focused specifically on page speed optimization and does not manage SEO metadata settings. That said, we take your feedback seriously. We’ve already reviewed the issues you previously raised with our team and have since made improvements addressing those concerns. We also reached out multiple times to investigate the billing concern and to help resolve any remaining issues, including offering direct support and even complimentary access so you could verify the fixes firsthand, but unfortunately we haven’t heard back. Our intention has always been to help, and that remains the case. The system is terrible and the support is awful. They promise the world and underdeliver. I cancelled during the trial and still got charged and now they won't respond to messages. Avoid downloading this app because it does more harm than good! The auto pilot changed good meta titles, descriptions and URL's and made them so basic it was like a 6 year old had done it. The auto pilot was also making a lot of my products NOINDEX so they weren't showing in search results. In the end i had to disable a lot of the features and then delete the app. The amount of time i have had to spend sorting out the issues this app created is extensive- not worth it.

The issues you encountered were related to a recent update that affected a small number of stores, and we completely understand how frustrating that must have been. To clarify, the “noindex” concern was a display issue within the app’s SEO Audit section only and was never applied to your live pages or source code. That said, we understand how alarming that appeared, which is why we treated this as urgent and this has now been fully resolved.
