I initially gave it 5 stars when it just came out. I have now been using the app for more than 2 years and have to downgrade to 2. What made me to downgrade: I waited for almost a year for ArtPlacer to implement the "analytics" section (all apps now have it out-of-the-box), b) when they finally implemented Analytics, the monthly price doubled from $30 to $60. Really? So for the standard subscription I can't even see how many people used the app? Second, the quality of their support. I send ArtPlacer a request to uninstall and unsubscribe the app a week ago. It's been a dozen emails back and worth and they still haven't done it. And with every email, they're dragging their feet. I have to double check their work every step of the way, and every step of the way they don't do it right. Latest example, instead of uninstalling it, the app first shows up and then is hidden with JS so they just left all of their crappy code and just added more on top. Bad programming, bad customer services, and trying to make money on you every step of the way Dear Max, We do truly value you as a subscriber and the contribution you do through your work to the ArtPlacer Community. Same reason why we are extremely sorry to know that you are unhappy with the options available. It wasn't our intention to disappoint you. We always strive hard to ensure all our subscribers are happy with our platform, features, apps and services. We can certainly understand how frustrating could be to having had waited for a feature that was supposed to make a big difference to your workflow and to realize it does not meet your expectations. At the same time we do also understand it is hard to afford added value software sometimes. We are working hard to improve the way we communicate about the features available on each plan. It's evident we've fallen short in this instance. Our most sincere apologies on behalf the entire ArtPlacer Staff. We remain at your entire disposal as we always did during this 2 years working together.
Great simple but effective app. While some apps are trying to do too much, StoreView is focused and addresses a specific need (at an affordable price). Standard Shopify reports don't tell you who and what has been added to carts, so you have to have this 3rd party app. In my case, I often review this app and then follow up with users if I can. Support has been great as well, as Steve is super responsive. StoreView also added a feature that lets me see exactly where customers are coming from. Looking forward to more analytics and ways to improve sales.
Very poor integration with Shopify, no support for product variants. 10+ emails and a lot of hand-waving and the integration still not working. First, I provided 3 test cases where Affirm integration fails with Shopify. Affirm support didn't test all 3 only 2. Second, I pointed to the 3rd test case that wasn't fixed, they said "oh yeah, here I fixed it". And again, they didn't (Affirm messaging calculated the wrong installment payment amounts, 4 * $24 != $1200 ). Then they claimed it's a third-party app issue. I uninstalled it, and that didn't help either. Exactly the same problem after the 3rd-party app was gone. Then, they blamed it on the browser caching (I tested the site in 2 different browsers on 2 different OS, mobile and desktop). Finally, they basically said "it is too difficult to debug", let's just disable the functionality globally... i.e. stop calculating installment payment on the product page. But I thought the whole point of Affirm is to display the visitors know of potential lower payments **before** they add to checkout, not after... Sorry, Affirm, I am sure you can do better, but this is frustrating. UPDATE: after 11 emails, it's working finally now and the fix was on their side. I'll keep the rating at 1 star as out of ~20 Shopify apps I tried so far, this was the worst so far.
This our my go-to app in Shopify, using it daily. Well done, a lot of features, I like the integration with iPhone/Android, so that desktop and mobile chats are synchronized. Also like that it shows us real-time visits, stats, plenty of widget customization options. So far, great experience with the app
