JSRates gave us the flexibility to build shipping logic that we simply could not achieve with standard Shopify settings or visual rule-builder apps. We used AI to help write all of the JavaScript, which made it possible for us to build a very advanced custom shipping system without hiring a developer. Our setup now handles refrigerated postal-code zones, frozen-product rules, package splitting, cart-value shipping allowances, remote-area surcharges, and fallback behavior if something goes wrong. One of the biggest advantages is that JSRates can call a third-party shipping API directly to retrieve live carrier rates. In our case, we send our calculated package sizes, weights, origin, and destination to our external rate provider, then JSRates decides which returned carrier/service should actually be shown to the customer. We also no longer need separate “hide shipping rate” Functions or apps. JSRates now handles the decision process itself and returns only the correct shipping option to Shopify. Despite how complex the logic is behind the scenes, the checkout experience is very simple for the customer. We can offer things like Refrigerated Courier delivery only where it actually applies, while still falling back safely if a carrier rate is unavailable. The app is also very developer-friendly. We were able to separate configuration, helper functions, postal-code data, third-party API logic, and the main decision tree into different files, which makes the whole system much easier to understand and maintain. If you have shipping requirements that go beyond Shopify’s standard settings, JSRates is incredibly capable. It solved problems we had been struggling with for months. Highly recommended.

Just completed our onboarding and migration from Recurpay to Appstle. Nick from Appstle handled pretty much everything, and we were up and running within a day or so. Looking forward to working with them and benefiting from their excellent support and Product!

We just moved to Nexus from another app, and it has more features than anything else we found. We specifically needed to modify delivery options at checkout based on Shopify calculated carrier rates, and Nexus was the only app we found that could do it. There was one small function missing that we needed, so I contacted support thru Chat. Rizwan replied right away, had the new feature implemented within 24 hours, pushed it live to the app, and it worked perfectly. Very impressed. This is a flexible team with great support and real capability.

As of Jan 26 2026 this app is completely broken and useless. They forced an upgrade from a fully working solution to a solution that does not work AT ALL! Support useless - Total support suggestion was try a different browser or clear your cache. Are you kidding me?? Why are you BETA testing an app on all your customers? I like the new system and full integration with QBO UI but its just not ready. What are we suppose to do, Go pay for a 3rd party for 6 months till you fix it? Really whats the solution?

I’ve been using Recurpay for a few years now and couldn’t be happier, especially with their live chat support. Their team has a positive, supportive attitude that’s hard to find these days. They actually take the time to understand what you need and come up with solutions. On a few occasions they’ve even gone out of their way to make special requests for our store happen. The app itself is excellent too. It’s full-featured and keeps improving. We especially love the analytics page that shows all our upcoming orders grouped by product - it’s a huge help for planning ahead. We’re also starting to use the customer-facing product edit features for upsells, which look very promising. Highly recommend Recurpay - both for the app and the amazing team behind it.

Does It All!, After Months of trying other "Build a Box Apps" I finally found this one. This is the only App that I found that will work with Both Recurpay And Downpay My two selling Plan apps. Very pleased with support. App has allot of great features, I m using it for Build a meat Box both single order and subscription. Working well to increase My AOV by offering add ons to a main product. Has all the controls to only allow the addons to be purchased with the main product which is another feature that I really needed and was hard to find. Very good App and Team, Highly Recommend

I have no coding skills yet have been able to accomplish the layout and design I desire by using Zipify. I have had several interactions with support from basic ui techniques help to advanced css code examples. All with good outcomes. Using there a/b test feature as well.. works as expected.

I have been using Downpay for a few months, It has been great to be able to take final payments for products with out bothering our customers. We have several unique challenges with our product and the support team has been there to expertly customize the integration when ever needed. They are based in Canada and have perfect communication skills. Support goes above and beyond to rectify issues with genuine concern for your stores success. I would recommend The app! 5 Stars!
