Having vetted multiple wholesale apps, and installed and tested three others, we finally went ahead with Wholesale Pricing Discount. WPD really is a great app. The main features we needed was the ability to have pricing per customer group (and by product where needed), and the ability to and have different shipping tiers for wholesale customers (i.e. not the same as those offered to retail customers). Interestingly WPD was the only app we found that offered the custom shipping option. There are other features that we will try out, but have not yet. I don't particularly like the way manual orders works. We have also implemented their Wholesale Lock Manager (additional cost) and may look at the Wholesale Order Form (also an additional cost) and see what that offers. The support is outstanding. They are very responsive, and have helped resolve issues caused by setup conflicts, and have even modified some bits and pieces so they work the way we want them to work. All in all very impressed.
