I really wanted this app to work for my business because the concept is excellent. Unfortunately, I decided to cancel my subscription due to the onboarding experience and limited customisation options. The biggest challenge is the lack of comprehensive documentation. There is no clear, step-by-step setup guide explaining the complete workflow from creating a builder through to testing and publishing it. Instead, I found myself relying on trial and error to discover where settings were located and how the app was intended to be configured. The available YouTube videos are more product demonstrations than installation tutorials. As a new user, I expected documentation that explained the standard setup process, including builder creation, theme installation, testing, publishing, and configuration of the various settings. I reached out to support with what I considered to be basic product questions, but was directed towards a paid consulting service. I fully understand charging for custom development or bespoke implementations, but I don't believe merchants should have to pay extra simply to learn how to use the app's standard functionality when there is no comprehensive user manual. From a design perspective, I also found the customisation options limited. For example, I couldn't find straightforward ways to customise typography or achieve the level of branding consistency I was looking for. The app has potential and the support team was polite and responsive. However, until there is more complete documentation, clearer onboarding, and greater flexibility in the interface customisation, I don't feel it's the right fit for my store.

Hi House, Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We truly appreciate it. We’re sorry to hear that Charm Bar wasn’t the right fit for your store at this time. Your comments regarding onboarding, documentation, and customization options are very valuable to us, and we’re actively working on improving these areas to make the setup experience clearer and more intuitive for new users. Regarding the consulting service, we’d like to clarify that it is intended for merchants who require hands-on implementation or more advanced customizations. During our conversations, we also offered this option to help with your setup, although we completely understand that you chose not to use it. We always do our best to answer product-related questions through our regular support, and we’re sorry if our communication gave a different impression. Thank you again for trying Charm Bar and for highlighting the areas where we can improve. Feedback like yours helps us continue building a better experience for all of our users. We wish you all the best with your store. 🧡
Geolizr has been useful for displaying location-based banners and managing different messaging for customers in different countries. The setup is relatively straightforward, and the app performs the main function I installed it for. The only limitation I have encountered is during testing. Once a banner is configured for another country, I cannot easily view and verify that version of the page from my own country. This makes it difficult to confirm that the banner is displaying correctly, review the customer experience, and check the page before publishing it for international visitors. A built-in country preview or testing mode would make the app much easier to manage. Ideally, merchants should be able to select a country in the app and preview the storefront exactly as a customer from that location would see it. Apart from this limitation, the app has worked well for my needs.

Hi, thank you for your feedback. I personally tested your store's configuration last Friday and found no technical fault; the app was working exactly as set up, which is why it wasn't flagged as an urgent case. I replied promptly during our support hours (Mon–Fri) and have continued to help you since. As for the login issue: since our support runs via email, portal accounts don't get an automatic activation email; happy to trigger one if you'd like.
