Geolizr has been useful for displaying location-based banners and managing different messaging for customers in different countries. The setup is relatively straightforward, and the app performs the main function I installed it for. The only limitation I have encountered is during testing. Once a banner is configured for another country, I cannot easily view and verify that version of the page from my own country. This makes it difficult to confirm that the banner is displaying correctly, review the customer experience, and check the page before publishing it for international visitors. A built-in country preview or testing mode would make the app much easier to manage. Ideally, merchants should be able to select a country in the app and preview the storefront exactly as a customer from that location would see it. Apart from this limitation, the app has worked well for my needs.

I have installed the app for a test trail. However I'm not able to open the app, so I can't change any settings. I als can't find a button to contact app support.

If you sell into multiple markets you need this app! Our business is based in Norway and geolizr lets us sell into Europe, the UK and beyond with improved conversion rates. The redirection, popup and notification widgets are valuable in displaying important country specific information for prospective customers. Customization is excellent and we have styled the widgets to match the rest of our site. Lastly, the app comes with a Premium feature: an impressive support! I've communicated with Frank on their team, and the suggested improvements have taken our store to another level. I can highly recommend the geolizr app!

We switched from another currency converter app to Geolizr. Frank was great in customizing our cart message and otherwise getting us set up (even on the weekend)! The simple but powerful combination of currency conversion and country specific banner messages is fantastic. A suggestion for future development is to enable the insertion of emojies into the banner notification messages (e.g. flags) Great app. Great service!! Update 2022: We have been using this app since 2018 and are so happy with the support Frank has continued to provide. I installed this app believing that it was one like many others. Instead I had to change my mind. I have a site with a lot of shopify instances, and when I need it, the customer service has been exceptional. With the help of their awesome support team, I was able to get a simple currency auto-switching feature created to support the new Shopify Payments multi-currency. The multi-currency is a huge help however falls short when it comes to actually presenting the customer with the right currency. Unless you’re on Plus, it’s a manual selection and I thought there was no way to automatically present the correct country currency...until I worked with Geolizr and their team! Success! Currency auto-switching by country using Geolizr’s API widget. I’m seriously just a very happy merchant!

Great app! It allows you to create currency switcher geolocalized, create pop-ups, redirect your store for language and countries... Easy to set and navigate, with tutorials for each widget. What is even better is the support their offer. They contact back almost immediately with helpful tips and they even fix the problems you're not able to fix. We recommend 100%!

Johannes and his team are awesome - very helpful and prompt to answer all of our questions and problems. The app itself has caused me some issues but the geolizr team has been able to fix them. I still need to explore all of the app's capabilities but overall I certainly recommend it!

We contacted the Geolizr Team (also creators of Langify; best app ever!) and they were very fast to help us reinstall everything. Customer service is still the best. Thank you so much! Another great app by Johannes Hodde! We were reluctant about trying an app that is currently being tested. However, we have been using Mr Hodde's Langify app for over a year and his impeccable customer service made it an easy decision. As you can see on our site, everything runs smoothly. Our customers appreciate having the prices in their currency and we appreciate how easy it was to install. Once again, we are not disappointed. We are looking forward to the next one. Well done!

Geolizr is one of the most amazing & user friendly app I have ever used! The support is extremely fast & responds within minutes with real solutions. I got the app's currency converter custom designed for my theme & to match the store design with country flags (which is non-existence with such sophistication elsewhere), it looks amazing. Customers are assigned to their local currency automatically and their flag shows up on the header which makes them feel welcome and know right away that we ship to their country! I have also installed langify which in combination with geolizr makes the word "impossible" like a joke. The possibilities are endless with these two apps if you want to target international markets & do professional business.

Johannes gives absolutely amazing support! This 3 in 1 app works really well, and is essential for anybody who would like to show/pretend local presence in several markets. I'm especially fond of the redirecting and notification widgets. The currency widget works great, and once the looks will be improved, it will be great too! Each one of the apps is worth 10 USD in itself, so the 3 in 1 combo is an absolute deal!

This app solved a huge problem for us. We have distributors in a number of other countries, a page on our site that lists those countries and we do not ship to those countries, but several times a week we would get emails from customers who were upset that we would not ship to their countries (they do not always notice our international page). This app identifies what countries buyers are from automatically as soon as they get to our site and refers them to our distributors websites in those countries - helping us, our customers and our distributors. Great app. By the way, before I found this app, our designer/developer told us they could fix this for $1,200-1,800. So not only is this app great at solving the problem it is a great deal.

Awesome app which allows premium features for a very small fee, other companies would ask three times more. In just 1 app you are able to easily set up notifications for each visitors origin countries, redirect customers to the right store edition or page depending on their origin and more !
