Shewin has one of the worst customer support experiences I have ever encountered. The website/app clearly mentions that Shewin provides live chat support, and I was also assigned a personal agent, Ashley, to assist me with my orders, platform-related questions, and other issues. I received an order on Tuesday and contacted Ashley the same day because I needed help resolving an issue with the order. However, the response I received was extremely disappointing. On Wednesday, she sent me only one message saying, “Please connect with DS Lover,” along with a link. I clearly explained that this was not my query and that I needed help with a different issue. Since then, I have received no proper response or resolution. It is now Thursday, and I have been waiting for two days. My messages have been seen, and I can see that the agent is coming online, yet there has been no meaningful response or attempt to resolve my issue. This is especially frustrating because Shopify has strict timelines for fulfilling orders. I have already lost valuable time simply waiting for customer support to respond. I should not have to keep wondering when my assigned support agent will reply or whether my issue will ever be resolved. Honestly, this has been a very frustrating and disappointing experience. A personal account manager should actually provide support and resolve customer queries, not simply send an unrelated link and then stop responding. I am giving Shewin 1 star because of this experience. I sincerely request the founders, managers, and senior management at Shewin to seriously review the quality of their customer support. If an assigned personal manager is unable or unwilling to respond to customers in a timely manner, Shewin should reconsider how its support system is being managed. Very disappointing. Very frustrating. I expected much better from Shewin.

I was having difficulties with barcodes, which are required for listing products on Walmart and Amazon. Since I’m also planning to open a physical store, having proper barcodes and product labels is very important for my business. I tried several barcode apps, but I wasn’t fully satisfied with their features, user interfaces, or customer support. I spent quite a bit of time trying different apps before I found Retail Force Barcode. I’m very glad I found this app. Their support team arranged a Google Meet with me and patiently guided me step by step through the process of generating barcodes for my products. The app is easy to use, user-friendly, and very useful for merchants who need to generate barcodes for their products. I would also like to give a special thanks to Aisha from the support team. She was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and patient throughout the entire process. She took the time to understand my questions and explained everything clearly, step by step, until I was able to successfully generate the barcodes. Overall, I’m very happy with both the Retail Force Barcode app and the support I received from Aisha. Great app, excellent customer service, and highly recommended for anyone looking for an easy way to generate product barcodes and labels.

I’m extremely disappointed with this app. For a full year, I’ve been stuck in a loop of suspension and generic “Misrepresentation” messages. The app offers no real insight, no manual review, and no actual help. It just keeps generating the same template messages over and over. I’ve fixed everything on my store, followed every policy, and still no progress. If you expect real support or human review, this app won’t give it to you. Totally unhelpful and incredibly frustrating.

My experience with Shop.app has been extremely disappointing. Their current policies create an environment where fraud and abuse against merchants can happen far too easily. The biggest issue is how the platform handles chargebacks. Customers can place an order, receive the product, keep it, and then file a chargeback with their bank claiming they “never received the item.” In most cases, banks side with the customer, leaving the merchant with a total loss — the product is gone and the money is taken back. Instead of supporting merchants during these fraudulent situations, Shop.app makes things worse. After chargebacks occur — even when the merchant fulfilled orders correctly — Shop.app immediately deactivates the store for six months. This punishment comes on top of the financial loss caused by fraudulent buyers. In practice, it feels like the policies protect scammers more than the merchants who actually keep the platform running. Another major issue is their product rating policy. Even if a merchant’s rating drops slightly, for example from 4 to 3, Shop.app disapproves our products for advertising. There’s no clear explanation or logical business reasoning behind this. The system reacts harshly and automatically, without considering real-life context or merchant history. These decisions directly harm honest sellers. I personally have had inventory sitting for over a year, generating zero sales, because my store was deactivated. The financial impact has been significant, and there is no real support from the platform to resolve the root problem — the fraud. It’s no surprise that Shop.app has many negative reviews on Shopify’s own app store. The merchant community has been raising similar concerns for a long time, but nothing seems to change. Shopify should seriously reconsider allowing a product with policies like these to operate, because the current system pushes merchants away instead of empowering them. My message to fellow merchants: be cautious before listing your products on Shop.app. Until they update their policies to genuinely protect sellers, the risk is simply too high. When enough merchants stop listing, perhaps the platform will finally understand that their policy choices need to change.
