First time using Event Ticketing and can't speak highly enough. Fantastic communication from the team (shout out to Jeff), and incredible ease-of-use. I had never set anything up like this before, so I was a little nervous, but the system was intuitive enough that I felt like an expert, and we were able to deliver a nicely customized experience for our customers. When i showed our marketing team how easy it was to use the app and scan tickets at the door, they were so surprised with the simplicity that their reply was along the lines of "oh... is that it?". If you're browsing for a ticketing solution - do yourself a favour and give these guys a go!
This app is very user friendly and easy to catch on too. We had a few hiccups but I think that was more of a user error. If you are looking for an easy to use ticket app, I would recommend this one.
Knowing that the system is working behind the scenes for ticket sales to our events is a huge plus. I know when someone buys a ticket, they receive confirmation, the payment is processed and I didn't have to do a thing. I use the online check in at our events and don't have to print off attendance lists. With the recent updates, there's more flow to the set up. The support behind the scenes is wonderful. Been using this app for a fair while now, a few years I'd say. Absolutely perfect for selling tickets to any event or class or whatever you need to sell tickets to. Even if its a BIG event with a LOT of attendees. Easy check in system, easy to set up once you learn the ropes and the auto setup can be great if your running regular weekly, daily or monthly events and classes. We use GM Event Ticketing for our summer camp registrations, and the new question-type feature has been a complete game changer. The expanded display options, granular editing rules, conditional logic, and other customization features have addressed many of the limitations we had with the previous registration process. It is clear that a lot of thought has gone into revamping the platform, not just aesthetically, but also in terms of functionality and how well it integrates with Shopify. It is very user-friendly, and you do not need to be technical to set it up. We looked at quite a few other options, including dedicated camp management systems. Some of them had additional camp-specific features, but for us, the cost difference simply was not worth it. GM Event Ticketing does everything we need: manages registrations, collects participant information, and most importantly, track attendance using daily check-in and check-out for multi day camp. Parents receive a unique QR code with their ticket ahead of time and use it when dropping off and picking up their child, making attendance tracking and pickup verification much easier for our team. The attendance tracking is a huge feature for us. Support is also outstanding. Jeff responds incredibly quickly, often in real time, and genuinely listens to feedback. I was very surprised that a feature we suggested was implemented and released within days. Highly recommended. Eric - thank you for the review. Does pretty much everything I want in a ticketing app. Very flexible, and the developers are quick to respond.
Flexible, customizable, and a great fit for event ticketing We've been using Guest Manager for several events now and it's become our preferred solution for event ticketing. What stands out most is how flexible and customizable the platform is; we were able to tailor the ticket types, attendee fields, and checkout flow to fit exactly what each event needed without a lot of workarounds. We also appreciate that it runs through Shopify versus a separate service, which is what we had been doing. Setup was straightforward, and whenever we had specific requirements, the app had the configuration options to handle them. It's clear the team has thought carefully about the variety of ways people actually run events. For any Shopify merchant looking for a ticketing solution that doesn't force you into a rigid, one-size-fits-all setup, Guest Manager is well worth it. We'll definitely be continuing to use it for future events.
I've been using Guest Manager for about a year now and it's been a great solution to our needs. We run in-person classes and workshops around the country, and the ticketing system has been relatively seamless with very few issues. There's a bit of a learning curve on the back end, but all in all it's very user friendly and Jeff from their support team has been quick to respond and answer any questions we had.
We switched over to Event Ticketing by Guest Manager this year to sell our conference tickets and it has been awesome. We have four different conferences with four different ticket types and the app is very easy to use. It also has improved our attendee experience with attendees receiving custom tickets as soon as their purchase is approved. The best part about this app is the customer service. Jeff is incredible. Very responsive. Always solving my problems quickly and has all of the answers. I was very hesitant about running our reg through a Shopify App, but I have no regrets.
Great app for managing all of our events and workshops. Does exactly what we need and the customer support team is always super helpful whenever we reach out. Highly recommend!
We switched to Guest Manager about 7 months ago for our large premieres. It has made a significant improvement to our guest experience and for managing all the special types of invites and tickets needing to sell. Support has always been top notch and helpful. The scan to check in process is so easy and slick that training has been a breeze. We use contractors that are different each time and training takes about 5-10 min depending on the event. They are able to learn and start checking people in without issues. I can foresee lots of other areas that will only get better over time and look forward to continuing to use the system and expand it across our other events we are planning.
Jeff at "Event Ticketing" has always been there for any support I needed...and fast. That includes listening to feature requests, and acting on them. Killer "ticketing app" and even better support.
This app has been a great asset for our business, making keep things organized in our back end so we can get more folks into our workshops. Without this, it would be much more chaotic for our 100+ events a month! Had an issues with refunding credits to a customer, Jeff figured out a fix and implemented it in less than 30 minutes.

WOOOHOOO! Guest Manager rocked! As the Director of Pacific Bitcoin Festival, I was nervous to move away from TIXR who we worked with previously. TIXR treated us well and had really good client service. That said, we decided to move to Shopify with Guest Manager to lower fees and be better able to control the website experience, customer buying and upgrade experience, and the check-in experience. It was a scary decision to move away from a big dog, to what is (at this point) a lessen-known option. That said, we had NO problems at all with check in using Guest Manager. Everyone was amazed. Our staff and volunteers were able to easily download the app on their phone, or use an ipad. The search option works really well, making it easy to problem solve if someone forgot to bring their ticket. We had NO issues at check in. Everyone was thrilled. Thank you Guest Manager! [Additional details: This was a year two event in 2023. We had about 1200 people attend. Speakers. Sponsors. GA. VIP. Volunteers. Staff. We also had several smaller side events and used Guest Manager for all our events]

We run brewery tours and this simple, easy to use app is perfect way to run our ticketing. Support via a messaging facility is quick and always mega helpful. Recomended.

My experience with this app so far has been great. Cost is reasonable compared to other apps I researched and the app is relatively easy to use. Experienced a challenge while setting up recurring dates and Jeff was a great support - got back to me quickly and took the time to answer all of my questions. Product works perfectly. Not sure if it is Shopify or not, but getting it set up with Shopify is a tad confusing but the folks who own and operate this app are wonderful to assist. Buy with confidence.
The Event Ticketing app has totally transformed how we sell tickets to events and has also streamlined our operational processes. The app is easy to use and the configuration options are endless. We have been able to fully customize the ticketing and event management process from end to end. The check-in iOS app is super easy to use and has improved our guest check-in experience also. The support team is responsive and helpful.
Highly functional and easy to use. We host a variety of events that involve many different audiences. This app can serve all our needs. But, the thing that puts this app ahead of all others is the incredible support! Top tier!
10/10 Highly Recommend! We had been using 3rd party ticketing services that were outside our website. Our goal was to sell our own tickets to drive website traffic. Guest Manager allowed for us to do this. We are small non-profit that has a large gala in December we looked like pro's thanks to their ticketing and scanners. I love that we could custom design our tickets and add to apple wallet. Can't wait until our next event!
We manage events and sell tickets on shopify and were looking for a good way to handle check in as well as attendee management. We checked out other apps and previously used some event software designed just for event management. We found limitations with the original event software so we moved to Shopify and installed Event Ticketing. We're very happy with it and the support has been fantastic! There are so many great features that make running our events easier. The check in actions are great too as it allows us to take photos or know if a customer has items to pickup at check in. The support has been great when we've had questions and they even added some functionality that makes things easier. The check in app that you use on iOS devices makes check in and looking up attendees quick and easy. It's helped speed up the check in time for events. There are many more things I could mention, the Event Ticketing app is very full featured and has so many cool things you can do. I'd highly recommend it.
We use the event ticketing app to sell and issue tickets for our events at our u-pick flower farm. After working with multiple other ticket platforms we have found this to be the best solution all round. It's cost effective, offers lots of customizable features, and their customer service is top notch. We also use the Guest Manager app for checking in guests using iphones and ipads. We are looking forward to using these two platforms in the future as we continue to expand.
This app has been amazing so far and the support team has been one of the best I have worked with so far. They even added some extra features for events like ours. I will update this review once we have run the event but so far they have been amazing to work with and the app works great in Shopify. If you are looking for an event app this is the one to use!
This app completely changed our admission process, and it was very easy to set up. When I did have questions, the developer was super responsive. In fact, I suggested a change, and app made update within two days. I would high recommend.
I have used Event Ticketing to sell 200k+ tickets across multiple events. The support and service from the developer is first class. The flexibility of the app and its deep and clean integration into Shopify’s platform makes it the best and most feature rich ticketing solution in the app store. Event Ticketing and Shopify are the perfect solution for a business wanting a true Omni-channel solution. More and more useful and innovative features keep getting added which is a huge value as our online logistics keep growing. The developer is fully invested into the app and incredibly talented. Event Ticketing/Shopify is the future of online ticketing!
This is a super smart app that allows you to scale your event management and manage events directly in Shopify. We use to manage our events using Wufoo forms (for registration) with a Paypal integration (for payment) - but there were gaps in who paid and who registered that we had to manually reconcile - which took alot of time. Having an app that integrates with Shopify that we can manage within Shopify and that can scale with us as needed - is invaluable. It takes some time to get things setup but once we launched our event registration we just watched the ticket sales roll in. Love this app so far and Jeff is great with support questions! Great integration with Shopify. Easy to use, intuitive, and all the features you could think of. Absolutely top-notch support - Jeff is patient, explains things well, and is super-responsive. Do yourself a favor and get this app! Jeff has been incredible to work with, very helpful, very resourceful, and responds to questions quickly. We used to just sell tickets on-site but due to COVID we had to adjust our business model and monitor the number of tickets we were selling to make things safe for everyone. The app has made things so much less stressful for us since we know what to expect on a daily basis. We plan on continuing with this app even post COVID. Thank you Jeff!!!
I was honestly a little skeptical of paying a per-ticket fee. This app is so well done I am inspired. Totally worth the cost. Launched our site in 48 hours and have already sold dozens of tickets. Nothing in the Shopify App store can touch this app. Well worth it. You can also see the changelog and there are constant updates. Thats crucial. A+++ Wow, thanks for the great review! We started using this app because the app we were using for ticketing is no longer supported by the developer. I wish we would have changed over sooner! This app has many more features, a better UI, and is less expensive than our last app. Plus, the customer support has been the best we've ever experienced!
