The app hasent done anything for me. 0 sessions or sales. It states it’s active and running but doesn’t do anything. Wasting money.

Hi Nick, Kit Karts is an application that sends out emails to help recover abandoned carts. Without any newly placed abandoned carts, it won't email your customers. You can view all abandoned carts and emails that have been sent to your customers directly on the Kit Karts dashboard. Our support team has reached out and placed a test so we can be sure that everything is working correctly. I’ve had difficulty being able to use the marketing tool. Y’all submitted one ad, now it’s saying I need to give permission to connect you to Facebook

Unless you can set up a reminder email for the abandoned shopping cart there is no advantage to using your program over what is built into Shopify. Please request this as a matter of urgency.
i used the app for recovered carts. i think the app is great and easy to use. i am just starting my shopify store and this made it easier
Great app. The team at Kit Karts super responsive and helpful whenever we have needed to reach out to them. We're already seeing an increase in our conversions using Kit Karts. Highly recommend.
Kit Karts, and Kit, and Ping (the suite of products) cracks the code for social media marketing managers who aren't social media experts, by providing a simple "friendly" user interface that handles, or offers to handle, important chores such as following up on abandoned carts (in the case of Kit Kart) or presenting for yes/no decision opportunities to place ads on FB or IG or via email. I think these apps are of good and demonstrable value especially compared to the cost of hiring someone to handle any of this stuff.
Fab app, with Christmas coming, I wanted help to retain customers who abandon carts. Very helpful and was even helped to personalise the recovery email. Excellent service! Very pleased I chose Kit Karts
So far so good! Very simple to set up initially (super simple to configure). I will update again after our trial period. Waiting to see if it makes a difference compared to my (previously used) abandoned cart emails. Support is extremely responsive and very helpful. We can use our logo and brand colors. Nice!
Love this app. Super easy to navigate and use, it's very useful whilst growing my online business.
The Kit Karts app was simple to set up and is highly affordable. The messages sent to clients reminding them of their abandoned cart was simple and straight. Although the email doesn't use heavy graphics or colors, It was functional.
I used this app to get more paying customers and sale products but there is no sale ...and I don’t get any report via email ( I had sign for this service)
I installed it as its the easiest app to use for all in one services. Thanks kit for making this app for less tech savvy merchants.
So far this is a great app, I like the fact that it sends out emails to customers automatically, for whatever the need is.
I think t should be nicer template for that, its very simple comparing to other apps. they need to make a better design.
I haven't had any drop cart to check out how it is working. I just had your company check it to see if it was installed correctly.
It does what it is supposed to do. It's main limitation is that abandoned cart emails can only be sent once per day. We ended up removing it on that basis, but it was fun interacting with the app via Kit.
Kit is awesome, love everything about it has made my life so much easier! you guys rock keep up the great work
I thought it would help better with advertising. The ads don't look any better than what I do and have very bland text. Also not sure what population they are being sent to. Keep getting a message from Kit saying "shirts are up 35%"; that's great but I don't sell shirts. I also am using KitKarts and notice a BIG discrepancy between the number of emails getting sent out to the actual number of customer adding to the cart. One email sent out this morning, Shopify counted 14 cart additions yesterday.....

Hi Rickie, I just wanted to offer a little clarification. Kit Karts will alert you to any customer that has an abandoned cart, this means a customer will have added their email address during the checkout process, but did not complete the purchase. This is the same definition that Shopify uses, so your abandoned cart number on Kit Karts should match the abandoned cart metric on Shopify. When you note the number of customers adding items to their carts but not making it to checkout, you are looking at your "abandoned shopping sessions". An abandoned shopping session is a really important metric for your store, but unfortunately Kit Karts won't have a record of those emails that can be included in the daily send. One last note, although we make a Kit skill (an app that works with Kit) we are different developers so we won't be able to assist you with your marketing or ads with Kit, however you should certainly give that feedback to the Kit team, so they can offer some help or tips and tricks. It’s been really helpful and I get great advice. I look forward to advertising advice and kit gives me goals. Highly recommend Kit. I get information and get stats on my shop and customers. I have been using it for a week and looking forward to more.

customer service is very helpful. I asked them to write HTML code for me, which was promptly done. Now waiting to recover my lost abandoned karts.
Kit reminds me daily with a text that folks abandoned cart. Our recovery is higher than Shopify average

It feels easy. Just started with it. The set up prices on computer was done easy. We will see how it works with targeting abandoned cart.

I have done some test purchases on my site. Kit karts sent me an email for each item I didn’t purchase without any photo of the product. I think it would be great if it could limit one email per customer with all of the things that were abandoned (including photos) in one email. Otherwise it’s a helpful tool for sure!
So far so good working good. I will see in a month time if this is working for me.
Had a customer call me yesterday - I guess KIT sent an email out to someone that had added an item to there cart and then came back and bought it a from a different computer a few days later. He was worried that he wasn't going to receive his order after receiving the email. I suppose It would be hard to decipher an outdated cart vs a recent purchase from the same customer but I may be deleting it I get another phone call like that. Not because I don't believe in the app - just because I don't want to have to explain to my customers that my emails are automated and it was a mistake. This isn't a negative review, just possibly something for them to build on or work towards. Ryan
Let us know when someone had left our store with merchandise in our cart. Wish that they could recover some more of the carts.
Really great app has helped recover sales
It's nice, but I don't get the proper data on the Total Value Recovered. I have actually recovered shoppers, but Kit Karts does not seem to be able to tie these people as the ones who previously abandoned carts.
Not many options available. We await to see if it brings in sales.

We are stoked off this app! The basic recovery cart emails that shopify was providing did absolutely nothing for us. Within using this app just for a week, we saw our cart recovery percent go from 0% all the way to 7.7% success rate. Their customer service is really great too. I highly recommend this app!
So nice! Very easy to set up and definitely pays for itself if you're on a lower tier Shopify plan where automated cart recovery isn't included. I'm able to recover abandoned carts in my shop, Babe Basics, with two clicks on my cell phone no matter where I am.
As an entrepreneur with so less time I don't want to abandon my marketing background in my ceo role. So with Kit I still get the reports I need and I feel I still have a clear view on what marketing actions we do on FB. Superb app

Edited: Kit Karts stopped working. I have emailed twice (prior to todays email) and have only heard back to say they will look into it. At this point, I am disappointed and losing sales. Hopefully we can get it resolved. Works great and I appreciate the reminders! The only improvement would be to allow for a second reminder like a week or so later :)
UPDATED REVIEW**** This app works as promised, but there are some major flaw that have convinced me to look elsewhere. Firstly, the data being reported on the app seems to be incorrect. I attempted to work with support to correct this issue, but there was no support in verifying data. Secondly, you are unable to incorporate pictures into the abandoned cart, and as a clothing retailer, a huge need for us. Asked update updates in future but none were provided. I am decreasing my rating to a 3 star, as pictures a must have for us. Purchased this app after running the abandoned carts through Shopify with limited success. I found this app through the Kit Virtual Assistant App (along with a ton of other great apps). As a rapidly growing store, we are excited about the outsourcing of such critical money earning apps, and after one glance at the dashboard upon setup, we realized this app was something we wish we had found earlier! Simple and easy to use. Connecting potential customers with their abandoned carts is a whole other stream of cash flow once working effectively. Try it out!

Love this app! A great addition to Kit and a breeze to use. As a small business owner anything that simplifies tasks and makes life easier is invaluable. This is a great for value for a wonderful business tool!
