Vugar, the founder, responded almost immediately and offered to handle the entire configuration personally. Instead of making me figure out which settings and conditions to use, he simply asked what I needed, clarified how the fee should work, and asked what I wanted to name it. We installed VOL Extra Fees because we needed to automatically apply a 50% tariff fee specifically to our USA customers. From the beginning, Vugar was extremely transparent about what was and wasn’t technically possible. He explained how location detection works on our Shopify plan, including the limitations and edge cases, rather than simply promising that everything would work perfectly in every situation. I really appreciated that honesty. What impressed me most was how personally involved he was in the setup. Vugar didn’t just tell us which settings to change—he configured everything for us and created a safe test setup first so the fee would only appear for our test customer account. This allowed us to confirm that everything was working before exposing the fee to our actual USA customers. Once we were ready to go live, he coordinated the activation with us in real time because we were also updating our USA pricing at the same time. He then tested the live setup himself using a US VPN and sent us screenshots so we could verify exactly what our American customers would see. The 50% tariff fee was applied and calculated correctly. The support throughout the entire process was exceptional—responsive, patient, knowledgeable, and also genuinely fun to work with. Vugar was even available over the weekend to coordinate the launch with us. If you have a complicated fee, tariff, or location-based surcharge requirement and want someone who will actually take the time to understand your business and help you test everything properly, I would absolutely recommend VOL Apps and Vugar.

Cannot fault the support from Vugar, he's absolutely gone above and beyond to get the fees/tariffs for both EU and US sales set up on my website and configured it to match my business branding. In his own words our setup wasn’t completely straightforward and required some custom configuration around fees for different locations, but he took the time to work through everything properly rather than just giving me instructions and leaving me to figure it out. He personally configured the setup, tested it, explained how I could test the different country scenarios myself, and kept me updated throughout the process. It took a little time to get everything exactly right, but I really appreciated that he cared about getting it right rather than rushing it. Very responsive, friendly and genuinely helpful. It feels like you’re working directly with someone who actually cares about how the app works for your store. VOL Extra Fee does exactly what I needed - I was able to get welcomed by founder (who is obsessed by GIFs) and got my rush fee set up in 5 mins. Vugar helped me personally with rules setup and tested it in my cart to make sure it is a smooth experience and everything working correctly.

We've been testing this app for a couple of weeks now and it works great. It's given us a way to charge users for ice packs and insulated shippers when they buy products that are at risk of melting in transit. We had some questions during initial setup and configuration and the developers were super responsive and helped us get it working the way we wanted it to right away. I would reccomend this app if you're trying to automatically add fees.

Amazing app. Amazing service. We had 75+ fees to build (and then duplicate across 12+ stores). Vugar and the team helped expedite the entire process and ensure all the fees ran smoothly (and in accordance with all rules). We had tried many other fee apps and our unique setup broke every one of them. VOL is still working perfectly 2 weeks in. Highly recommend!

Great onboarding support. Quick, personalized, and complete. Even though I'm not going to be able to add personalized fees on my draft orders in the "Payment" section, I got it added on the "Products" section in an automatic way. The limitation comes directly from Shopify, so the product is solid.

Great app and even better support. We needed to add a credit card processing fee to our Shopify store and the app handled it well. Whenever we had questions or needed adjustments, Vugar responded quickly and personally helped us get everything configured correctly. Very impressed with the level of support and willingness to help. Highly recommend for anyone needing custom fees or surcharges in Shopify.

We needed to add an optional fee to our store and had some very specific requirements around how it should behave for customers. Vugar was incredibly responsive, understood exactly what we were trying to achieve, and helped us get everything working correctly. What impressed me most was the level of support. He was available almost immediately, answered all questions, made adjustments while we tested, and even helped with display issues after the main setup was completed. The app does exactly what we need, and the support has been outstanding. Highly recommended if you need flexible fee and surcharge options in Shopify.

We added this app to apply product fees in Shopify POS. When I ran into some issues going live with the new fees, Vugar was able to assist and figure out what the problem was so we could fix it. It was nice that someone was so readily available to help!

Vol goes beyond what is expected with support. I don't think they ever sleep! - Vugar ( the founder) seems to always be active on the chat - ready to help solve issues or answer questions! Very happy so far with the App which provides some functions that Shopify does not provide. App needs some minor tweaks - but we are working together to solve those. Highly recommend the App not only the product but even more for the support.

Great app, support and service. The app is easy to setup and their chat support is fantastic.Vugar provided outstanding support, and I am very happy with both the app and the developer. We had a bit of a complicated ask and a few setup questions at the beginning, and the he was incredibly quick to respond and help us get everything configured correctly. Our fee setup is a bit complex, but so far, the app is doing exactly what I need it to do. It has been working great, and I highly recommend this app!

One of the biggest reasons we moved was reliability. Our previous app would sometimes not apply fees, but VOL has been consistent across all orders so far - POS and draft order we used for B2B cusotmers.
