We used Propel Subscriptions for several years and the app worked adequately for basic subscription functionality. However, as our business grew, we needed to migrate to a platform with more advanced subscription capabilities. The major issue we encountered is data portability. Propel does not provide a self-service export for active subscriptions, forcing merchants to contact support directly for migration assistance. After explaining that we needed an export to migrate to another subscription platform, support stated they would need to involve their development team. Multiple days later, we still have no resolution and our follow-up emails have gone unanswered. What makes this especially concerning is that our new subscription provider indicated they have seen similar migration/export issues with Propel repeatedly, suggesting this is not an isolated incident. The result is that our migration timeline is effectively blocked while customer subscription data remains inaccessible without manual intervention from Propel’s team. I strongly recommend merchants carefully evaluate: * subscription data portability * migration/export tooling * vendor lock-in risk * responsiveness during offboarding before committing long-term to this platform. Hello friends at Zhi's Bug Hub, First, I'm sorry. You needed your subscription data to migrate, we were too slow to deliver it. That's on us, and it's not the experience any merchant should have. Your full export was sent; if anything is missing, please reach out to us again. You're also right that we don't yet offer a self-service export. Making it easy to take your data with you is something we should have nailed, and we're working to fix it. Thank you for the years you spent on Propel. 5 stars comes short of what I would give this app, deff 100/5. I manage 6 shopify stores for clients and Ive used about all the subscription apps on the store. Propel is the subscription app everyone should use hands down. I've needed support assistance on almost all. The Propel team is by far the best and understanding. Ive also used other tools from Propel and trust me their apps will definitely propel your store and business with ease.

was good at first, now when the app is opened, it is just a white page. i reached out to support and they were no help. Hello friends at ZoesQQQ, The app required new permissions on your store, and your browser's security settings prevented Propel Subscriptions from redirecting you to Shopify's "grant permissions" page. If you experience this issue again, please try the app on desktop using Chrome / Safari / etc, and you should be directed to the grant permissions page then the app homepage as expected. Great customer support and a solid subscription App. We use it to send out monthly magazines and it has worked flawlessly for us. Easy to set up and maintain.

Set is more than easy. With the short YouTube Video and the amazing and quick support, it seems to be the best option for subscriptions.

The app says that it integrates with Stripe subscriptions, Paypal subscriptions, Appstle subscriptions, Recharge subscriptions, Seal subscriptions, Shoppay subscriptions... But as soon as I install the app, it doesn't allow me to use paypal subscriptions. To use subscriptions, you must be using one of the following gateways as your payment gateway: Shopify Payments, PayPal Express, Authorize.net, Stripe. We do have PayPal Payflow Pro in shopify, but this app seems to be blind to it.

Incredibly responsive (thank you again, Leo!). I've been using the app for a little over a year now and it has been easy to work with and seems really integrated with the Shopify platform as a whole. It's been exactly what we needed to run a subscription box product on our site.

Haven't had a consumer use it yet, as we are pre-launch, but their customer service and attention to detail is incredible! Will report back once we launch!

Came here from one of the big apps which could not handle basic things and seemed overwhelmed by the Shopify checkout integration. It was a great app when they offered all features for free... and even as they started charging. However, we've updated our rating as the functionality is really not up-to-scratch compared to the rapidly climbing prices... For example the merchant can't edit subscriptions, only the customer can, and there were all sorts of technical issues we had that the customer support team avoided helping with...

Setup was quick and easy and the support team was super fast and responsive. Great product that we will absolutely continue to use. Highly recommend!

Customer Service is 5-stars! I've run into a few hiccups regarding the interface between my theme and the app (thus the 4 star rating) but every time customer service is right there to chat and troubleshoot and it ends up being resolved. Thus far I've needed to interact with them 3 times and each time I walk away feeling pleased my problem was addressed well.
