Simon in customer service was incredibly helpful—I’d definitely give him five stars! One suggestion for improvement: when users choose to have TinySEO optimize their images, it would be really helpful if there were a pop-up or warning that says something like: "Your existing image alt text will be overwritten, but don't worry—we can restore it if needed." I was pretty frustrated when I realized my carefully written alt text had been replaced. I even started restoring it manually before mentioning the issue while chatting with Shopify AI about an unrelated Judge.me problem. Thankfully, it suggested that TinySEO might be able to restore my original alt text, and Simon was able to help. If I'd known restoration was possible—or had simply been warned beforehand—it would have saved me a lot of unnecessary stress and work.

Hi, Julia here. Thank you for the review! We do mention in our onboarding that if you activate ALT text optimization that ALT texts will be optimized and in our pricing window we mention that all image optimizations made can be restored for 30 days. I understand that It can be missed so I'll work with my team to check how we can improve the visibility of those two mentions.
still to see outcome for website but I can certainly say that the staff are super helpful
So far, so good. It is, like most things SEO, time-consuming but worth the work. I'm giving it a four star because I just loaded it today and am working with it.

The platform offers exceptional clarity and user-friendliness. What truly stands out is the JS/CSS optimization that preserves site templates and functionality without any errors. My only reservation, which costs this otherwise excellent product one star, is the limited flexibility of the JSON-LD data schema when attempting to incorporate additional structures or custom values.
SUPPORT is very knowledgeable and accessible. Tested five other SEO apps, and I found this the simplest. Yoast and Avada left code after uninstall, and it was cleaned up by support. Solved residual problems.
uns wurde die App empfohlen um die Fotos von jpeg in Webp umzuwandeln. Was - wie sich raus stellte - gar nicht geht. Zudem haben wir seit dem die App installiert war, massive Probleme: Fotos und PDFs sind reihenweise verschwunden. Weg. Nicht mehr im Shopify Datei Ordner. Direkt wieder deainstalliert, da völlig unbrauchbar. Update: Der Entwickler hat sich gemeldet und versichert, dass diese App keine Fotos löschen kann. Es sein ein Zufall. Für uns war/Ist es nicht anders zu erklären. Zudem wurde uns erklärt, dass es gar nicht nötig sein (entgegen der Empfehlung der SEO Agentur) die Fotos von jpeg in WEBP umzuwandeln. Dies mache Shopify selbständig... Für uns ist die App dennoch nicht notwenig. Der Support ist aber sehr gut und von daher ist die Bewertung natürlich nicht mehr nur 1*

Hallo, Für uns gibt es keinen Grund, PNG-/JPG-Bilder in WebP zu konvertieren. Shopify übernimmt das auf Anfrage. Sie sollten Ihre Bilder immer im PNG-/JPG-Format hochladen. Weitere Informationen dazu finden Sie hier: cdn.shopify.com. Außerdem habe ich den zweiten Teil der Rezension nicht ganz verstanden. Wir bearbeiten keine PDF-Dateien oder Dateien in Laufwerksabschnitten. Ich habe Ihnen eine E-Mail geschickt. Könnten Sie sich bitte bei mir melden?

so far its nice, worth the money only if you have extra budget, it does save a-lot of time with the optimizing. customer service is nice, fast answer. i give 4 stars because they dont have video optimizer

Thank you for the kind words. Sadly optimizing videos is a really difficult and resource intensive teask. So we had not implemented this feature yet. But our team is always ready to help you with manually optimizing videos and picking the best optimization options for them!
Very nice support, great support they were responsive and friendly. Image compression works great highly recommend that feature. However the lazy load is incorrectly implemented it lazy loads everything or nothing. Images above the fold should not be lazy loaded per UX standards. This is not an option with this plugin.

Hi, Eli here, I'm the lead developer at TinyIMG. Our customer support offers above the fold manual lazy loading removal after our lazy loading installation. It's not possible to do automatically, but we do that manually! Simon has helped you with the product page lazy loading even If It was not applied by our app (It was skipped). Would you mind getting back to me on email ? It's just a misunderstanding.
so far its going really well. I just introduced TinyIMG a week or so ago. (thats why only four starts because it hasn't been long enough to share real impact) I sent a concerned email regarding billing and got a response instantly from Ian to ease my mind that all was good. I have followed all of the directions given to me and so far everything is simple and easy to follow. I will review again in about 2 months to share any news after everything has been applied and there has been time to create a real impact. fingers crossed!

Super bien. Nos funciono para mejorar nuestro SEO sin tanto trabajo manual pasamos de 20 formas de excel a un solo sistema.
I haven't given 5 stars (yet) as I am waiting on some changes I have made at the suggestion of the customer care team to have an impact. However, I will say the team answered all my questions and concerns quickly and with alot of knowledge - which I cannot fault.

When you fix those few issues, you will see a big jump on your score! Non optimized apps are an issue on Shopify and slow down your store. And we are glad to answer all of your questions. Looking forward to seeing your store in the 50+ score!
Molto veloci nelle risposte. Chat sempre attiva, comoda e funzionale. Anche se saranno risposte date da una chat bot non fa niente, l'importante è risolvere e avere le risposte che servono.

Hi, You picked a plan that costs 23.76 every two years. It's only 0.99 USD per month.. I can not think of any cheaper app with a lot of tools to help your store become faster!
Like the way this app makes image re-sizing so easy and quick!! Recommend it and think doing a good job. Will report back if any issues
really useful! It reduces the product pictures which is great. Not sure if it reduces every picture on the website though, for example the ones which are in the page builder landing pages. ( fx. made with Shogun)

Thanks for the review! Sadly, but as images on Shogun are not stored in Shopify, we cannot reach and optimize them. I wish we could integrate with Shogun.
I guess it's doing what it's supposed to do. Not really sure though. this kind of stuff is still above my paygrade
nice app, a lot help, but not tinypng;s optimizer with low quality lose, that was excatly what we want

Thanks for the review! We do not allow optimizing to lower quality as It would go against our view. We do not want to negatively impact your store ratings with low quality. We optimize to the max without any quality loss that is accepted by google and other search engines.
Customer service was friendly and capable to solve my problem. App works as promised. However, there should be a possibility to use more variables than those four currently available, and therefore only four stars. You may count this as 4.5 :)
this is an amazing app and help me a lot. A free plan is also very good and gives you a 50/month. Thanks for the app
