THIS APP SHOULD NOT BE ON SHOPIFY. The UI looks pathetic. Search is just like any other search apps. Shopify's base theme search is better. Most importantly, it permanently edited my theme codes and left behind useless visuals and changes that I cant revert back even after uninstalling! Modified the search bar, search page, collection page, filters. They are not available EST.
We were forced to install this app just to leave a review, this company keeps sending us unsolicited emails, avoid them at all costs this sort of insidious behaviour should not be tolerated and Shopify should be ashamed of themselves for making us have to install their app.
Unbelievable. $435 a month! We don't even pay Shopify so much amount. When you ask them they try to fool you around with explanations as if we are fools!
Not able to complete the onboarding process, always shows an error “ Oops, something went wrong” within the app panel and not shopify admin… still room to grow it i think. Will keep reaching out to support to get help

Tried to charge me $600 USD a month for some filters. Anyone with a larger inventory is going to save metric tons of money just paying their own developer. Seems exploitative of those that don't have the best handle on tech.

Thank you for your review. We didn't try to charge you $600, but we were telling you upfront about our pricing for your catalog size. Do note that our pricing is aligned to the number of products in your store. I can see in your store you have about 160,000+ products. This is a huge catalog and even Shopify is limited in providing filters with such a catalog size. For eg. you can see that your collection page, https://www.fantasyforged.ca/collections/all has no native Shopify filters. Our app would have easily provided filters for such a huge catalog and made it easy for your shoppers to quickly search for their desired item
Very fast and efficient customer support, the app is very good too but not so intuitive. 5 stars for the customer support, 4 for the app. - Edit: after few months the app has started to not working well, the button "Sync" on the control panel doesn't work, asked 2 times for help at the support but they didn't help me

Very bad experience with this app. We have put a lot of time and effort in to it but it's still not working. Very disappointing.

Hi Veerle, It's really unfortunate to hear about it. Please contact our support, they'll definitely be looking into the issue and solve it ASAP.
Be careful with this app. After install this app, if you uninstall it, your search bar won't work anymore. I check the back-end of my store, there are full of back-up files created by this app that will still stay there even if you uninstall the app. Really annoying!

Hello There, I am sorry to hear about your experience but it seems you never configured the app. Sparq search needs to be integrated with your theme which can be done via your developer or we provide the onboarding support at no cost to all of our customers. I do not see you ever reached out to the support for integrating Sparq for your store, though we send out multiple emails requesting if you need support with onboarding. I would request you to reconsider your review as it does not reflect our services and app functionality correctly.
