We’ve had an excellent experience with SPD Split Payment & Deposit. Their team is professional, responsive, and always helpful whenever we need assistance. The app itself is extremely useful and easy to work with, especially for businesses in the jewelry industry, where deposits, partial payments, and split-payment arrangements are often necessary for higher-value purchases. SPD has made the payment process much easier for both our team and our customers. It’s a practical, well-designed solution backed by great customer service. Highly recommended for jewelers and other businesses that regularly handle deposits and multiple payments.

It doesn't work, customers reported that it only works with debit cards, doesn't work internationally - orders lost, poor support. Am uninstalling it from all stores

The free option is available for development stores, so you can use the app without paying while building and testing your store. For a regular live store, the app starts from $19/month, with a free trial available. Val fue excelente con su servicio, me apoyó a dejar configurada mi tienda para ser funcional en México, para hacer pagos 50/50 correctamente y no interferir con mis opciones de pago tradicionales (Mercado Pago/Paypal). I had an issue with an existing App interfering, making setup a challenge. But the folks at Finloop worked with me to identify and solve the issue quickly. Even offered me a temporary discount for the trouble. The next week this app fails again, they let me know it's a compatibility issue with a different app this time, they fix the issue. Then the next day it breaks again. I'm sure it's a great app on stores with very few other apps installed, but it unfortunately will not work for us.

I always find anything remotely technical daunting, Maryna helped me through an issue today (that was just me not paying attention). It was resolved quickly, efficently and so far SPD has been lovely and easy to use for myself and my customers.

Erst seit kurzem im Einsatz, aber sehr gut zu konfigurieren und die Pläne sind vernünftig gemacht, auch wenn es sich auf dem ersten Blick teuer aussieht. Ist aber nicht teuer. Bin sehr zufrieden und die Preissstaffel ist gut.

Really good customer service. I got instant help and managed to set up everything correctly. It seems an easy app and it gives exactly what I needed so our students can pay in instalments.

Support (Zia) was incredibly fast! I am working on my computer at 1:00am, and expected to wait, work with a bot, or send an email, and eventually someone would get back to me. Very happy with my first tech inquiry! Sorted everything out.

I integrated this app and found I had an issue with it only partly showing on the product page. I contacted the app company and they guided me through the changes on a google meet conference call to ensure the set up was edited correctly for my customers. I was happy to resolve this issue with them reasonably quickly as it was a little above my novice shopify expertise !

Very responsive support. I was able to ask questions during the install and receive my answers in moments. SPD Split Payment is incredible nimble and flexible. Money and payment collection can be a tough subject. Black Hills School of Massage needed a way to allow students to pay an initial tuition deposit and then pay the remaining balance over several months. I am very grateful to Val and the team :) You allow us to focus on the students and not worry about payment collections and back-office administration.

Great customer service. When there wasn't a resource for customizing the customer confirmation email the rep listened to my idea and said they would discuss with their team. It's wonderful that the SPD team is willing to hear and collaborate with it's app users to create a better experience.

The app is full of issues. The instalment orders don't show up in the system AT ALL. Meaning you have a customer who has placed an order via installment pay but there is no record of them in the app. This is has been an ongoing issue for several weeks and it's still not resolved meaning that invoices for instalments aren't being sent to customers on time or at all and I'm having to deal with increased emails/complaints around why customers can't pay for their items. Customer Support has been slow to respond and have shown absolutely no urgency in getting this resolved. It's been going on for weeks. Terrible App, would not recommend.

A temporary syncing issue caused certain installment orders to be missing in the app, which also delayed some invoices. Really like to thank this company for tailoring their product to our requirements and understanding the issues we face. Was really pleased with their responsiveness, replying professionally and in a timely fashion. We wanted a small cosmetic change to the app which suited our needs better and they could not have been more helpful. We are looking forward to seeing how this performs on our shop when it goes live next week and if it is good, we will roll it out to other shops we have in our portfolio. I had some questions about how to properly set up deferred payments and minimize risks when collecting payments in installments on auto mode. Andrey from the support team helped me out super quickly — even though it was a weekend! He provided a great consultation and shared helpful tips. Definitely recommend this app! It is amazing for those of us who offer deposits and want to offer split payments 9/10 Valerii w/ Support was amazing as well as I made a suggestion about a way that some of us who do custom work could utilize the app even more so I hope to see those improvements or at least those improvements considered and I appreciate Valerii for listening and taking it tomorrow consideration!!! Valeri was fantastic. He contacted me right away and logged onto my computer with me on a remote session and helped me troubleshoot my issue, which was of my own doing, not SPD Split Payment & Deposit. In just a couple of clicks, it was fixed. Valeri also went above and beyond to help me with an issue that had nothing to do with his App. Very kind, and very helpful. I highly recommend him.

Customer service is very responsive and helpful with some concerns we had while setting up the split payment feature in the backend of our store.

So far this app is very easy to set up. Straight forward at the checkout, customer service has been quick and helpful and I like how I can decide how many payments the split payments will be.
