Wholesale Bear ‑ Bulk Discount

There should be a page where wholesalers can create and enter their own account information and upload their resale certificate making them sales tax exempt without time and effort from the Shopify store owner for each new customer. It would increase the number of wholesalers signing up not to have back and forth emails - this process is not streamlined on this app and should be effortless.

I had an issue arise when I was trying to exclude some items. Maria was very diligent and turn the issue over to the tech department and the issue was resolved. She kept me informed of the progress until it was solved.

The system has served us for a long time with efficiency and ease. But then we started to look into details and we found that the system doesn't use our prices, but changes the prices on a non consistent way. Worked with their support team for 4 days and finally had to give up on them. No pro active communication, no plan of solving it, just the usual support answer saying we are working on it. Never got to talk to the people working on it but left with a front-end supporter with standard answers. Now we are left behind with cleaning up several months of orders with errors and no solution. Even during their testing they left behind several orders that we ourselves had to remove and cancel. Just stressfull to work with 2 stars for the months it worked but should be zero for the lack of support

Simple to use & incredibly powerful! We found the support staff genuinely care, are very helpful and open to feedback & feature requests. Couldn't be happier! 2024 Edit: Almost 2 years on from my original review, and I still *love* Wholesale Bear. If you're comparing B2B options, absolutely check this one out!

Amazing app! I spent hours and hours looking for an app that would allow our wholesale clients to place orders easily while connecting to our store inventory, and this is just perfect and exactly what I was looking for. Was super easy to set up and customise. Absolutely recommend this app, it has been a big time saver and made life easier for our clients and for fulfilling orders on our end. Thank you!

Hi, the only problem we have with this app is on the Shopify side since it is not able to calculate German net prices correctly. Jonathan is a great support and has always time to look into your problem. This is a reasonable app. It would be much better if you could apply discount to to the number of items in a final cart. at the moment you can only add discount by number of items on a single product or discount on a total cart value UPDATE: We have released a new feature to apply a discount based on the number of products in the cart. -------- Thank you for the feature request. Het enige wat momenteel echt mist is de mogelijkheid om prijzen exclusief BTW te tonen bij de producten. 50% korting op een product zou dus 50% excl. BTW moeten zijn. To make things clear: it is possible to show prices excluding VAT, and have customers place an order without including the tax rate. It depends on how your products are set in Shopify's backend. If your backend prices are all marked with "tax is included" - then the app has no way to know what's the tax rate it needs to reduce. But, if your backend products do not include the tax by default, and it is served through your tax settings, then you can use our "tax exempt" feature. To activate it, please open your whoelsale offer settings, scroll all the way down to the advanced settings section and mark the "Tax exempt" checkbox. Once you do, the customers tagged with the matching offer tag will not pay any taxes when placing an order. I so want to keep this app but it has one feature missing that really does stop me from totally committing at this point. If we could organise the listing of products into how we want it to show, then I'd be happy with it - unfortunately, this isn't currently a facility. It must be pretty frustrating if you have a large catalogue of products and you want to place a product next to, or in order of, another product for continuity. I think it's quite a floor really. I think some control over the type of text (font, size, bold etc) would be good too. Other than that, I like it and would definitely give 5 stars otherwise.

Great app, as one of the first shops to start using Wholesale Bear; the app has come a long way since its first release. The folks behind the app are a great team to work with. Very helpful when one runs into a problem (very rare), they are also very interested in continuing to improve the app to meet various needs of shops. Keep up the great work.

This is by far the coolest wholesale app I have used for wholesale. Since I have downloaded the app I have gained several wholesale customers who guess what love my wholesale app. They love mostly and so do I that they get the correct wholesale prices. I like the wholesale tab that's displayed on the website in my colors. I like Lynda, who helped me through a whole lot of issues in the beginning due to my own lack of knowledge. I feel I have made a very good choice, when I installed that app.

I missed a step when changing it to the Dawn Theme 2.0 and getting it to activate so check the support FAQ if you get stuck :) Support was fantastic help. I've found Wholesale Bear to be a handy app for for assigning custom wholesale pricing to different sets of customers in an elegant way without the hassle for my business. What makes it better than similar ones in the app store other than the ease of use is the support team. I use Honeycomb upsell and Popcorn customer visit replay by conversion bear in our store too and it makes this an easy recommend from our business because the support from the team is always super quick and helpful no matter the issue you need to resolve to get things working.

Just started using this app, and it was really easy to set up. We will experiment with the settings a bit to allow for VIP customers and whole sellers. Would be great if the special areas could also be offering different design options (in our case, to allow for varied shopping experiences of B2C and B2B). Note: It seems that a customer can only have one tag for offers (understandable, but want to point that out). Very straight forward and free for the first 1000 shops to take part. Also, a nice how-to included. Thanks, Conversion Bear team, for such a great product. Highly recommended if you are looking for an easy to set up whole seller system with low costs.

Smooth and fast set up. All the features I wanted and easy to change what I wanted to adjust. No coding required. My wholesale customers are going to love having this option.

This was really easy to set-up, I can't wait until we can customize more (like being able to add notes on the wholesale main page for the customers to see and being able to set multiple line item minimums for example my minimum is 24 items/12 per product but they can mix and match so I wish it could be like 12 for scrubs and 12 for teas but currently it is set to have only one minimum per line which means a wholesale customer could check out only buying 12 disregarding my wholesale policy if this makes sense.

Found the right app for the job!! Gave this app a shot while testing out several different B2B wholesale options. Wholesale Bear nailed it! Had a few stumbles at the beginning (user error) but Jonathon in support responded lightning quick and got me going. Has an excellent set of features, easy to install and configure, and fully functional without addons! Nice work, excited for future updates and enhancements!

Far better than the wholesale apps that have been around a lot longer... And super quick with customer service... another app (which I won't name) took weeks and never got back to me, whilst wholesale bear responded comprehensively and set me up same day A+++ very impressed

This app solves all the problems we had with shopify and also eliminated a lot of work going around the lack of wholesale in Shopify. Cant wait for it to work with the currency tool. When that will be made I will pop the champagne for sure. Almost forgot to praise customer service for being truly competent and helpful.

This app is absolutely amazing! I was looking for a free plugin that would allow me to modify product variant pricing per customer tag and this plugin does it so seamlessly. No need to install ANY code in your store, works via a wholesale widget that displays different pricing to different customers.
