The app advertised a "free plan" with a limit of 50 monthly orders. Naturally, any merchant would expect this to mean 50 orders with bundles from this app. However, they count your total store bundle orders against this quota including sales from Shopify's native bundles option. We hadn't even started using the app yet, and our 50-order limit was already being consumed by native bundles that their app had zero impact on. This model makes it impossible to measure the true ROI of the app and just forces you into a paid plan for revenue they didn't generate. Uninstalled immediately.

Thank you for sharing this, and we’re sorry. You raised a fair concern about our pricing. Simple Bundles counts all orders on your store, not specifically Shopify’s native bundles. That’s because the app processes every order your store receives, including later edits, so it can detect bundle orders and keep inventory accurate. That work happens whether or not an order contains one of our bundles.
