its completely free as of now but probably wont be forever Edit* Yeah it's not free anymore Edit again* Just a friendly reminder to never EVER trust apps to hold your data safe guys, I recently switched from the paid plan to the free plan on Optis for a bit and in the process, all my images used as swatches were just gone for some reason. It took hours and hours to get those images back, so always keep a copy of every swatch you upload just in case and always confirm with the team to see if they can back up your images before you change plans.

The issue was caused by a temporary sync problem in our image storage process, which affected how some uploaded swatch images were retained. We understand how frustrating this can be, especially after spending time setting everything up. Since then, we’ve improved our image storage and backup mechanism to ensure that all swatch images uploaded going forward are safely stored and consistently backed up in our database. This update was made specifically to prevent similar cases from happening again and to give merchants peace of mind when using the app. We sincerely apologize for the disruption this caused. If you ever decide to continue using OPTIS, our 24/7 support team is always available to assist and make sure everything runs smoothly. This app has provided insane value to me and my store. Jenna from Findter has been extremely accommodating, making custom modifications to my store at my request and consistently replying and getting back to me days later. She is really quite committed to this team and she's helped me a lot. The app works with my old 2.0 shopify theme which is great. They even helped fuse my infinite scroll feature with their app. great service, great value, custom help, fast replies. overall great

Nick should get paid more, he's the best staff member by far and will go out of his way to help you. 4 stars though because there is some sneaky paywalls in this app that you'd never guess was there until you're fully invested. Tread carefully.
For those wondering, yes it works in 2025 and yes, it works for long press on images on mobile. Even on zoomed in images if you long press, no way to download my images now. Thanks RT
As of now, the app is completely free. So that's the main reason I use it. It works perfectly, and the support team even did some custom code for me for free to help make it look great on my website. Check out VQPlug.com on any product page to see the estimated delivery date and see how it looks.
