The Mailchimp for Shopify team reached out promptly to resolve this issue, their response was great. There is indeed a setting within the app to not sync bot (non-subscribed) contacts to your list, which was exactly what I was looking for. My app may have been out of date and that's why it wasn't showing. Thank you Mailchimp for your speedy help, I was struggling with this for awhile. [original review] It's great until you have an issue with bots signing up to your email list. The integration has no way to filter out fraudulent/fake emails (whereas the standalone Mailchimp platform does). What happens is your contact list will get flooded with thousands of emails from fraudulent orders, that Mailchimp then charges you for because you're "over" your contact limit. It's pretty underhanded and almost like they benefit from not having better filtering settings within the app. You'd think an ESP of this level would have figured out a way to filter bot traffic. None of these contacts are actually "subscribed" to my list. I would even pay more for this feature, if only Mailchimp would integrate it. Please do something, Mailchimp!

I am thrilled with this app and the cause it supports - it's simple and useful. Other apps felt very bloated down with different UI elements, campaigns, pricing, etc. I do think those are good for some brands but I needed something very simple. Also love how transparent they are about how it works and impact they've made so far. I had some issues with styling the elements on my product pages and checkout due to my theme's color scheme, but I reached out to Saif and his team and the help and attention I received was OUTSTANDING! Beyond excellent. Saif accessed my store's theme and quickly made some changes that made everything look 10x better. I would recommend this app to anyone, the reviews are well-deserved! [EDIT] I do want to update to say that the customer service and team behind the app is wonderful! They responded almost immediately to my review with a "fix" of sorts to the issue I was experiencing with saving. Once I got my quiz updated and the finished product on my site, it really is very impressive. The app itself is very intuitive and user friendly, so overall I am very pleased and do recommend you try it out. [OLD REVIEW] 3/5 It's a powerful app and I think it will be great, only downside is saving your quiz as you work on it...It doesn't always save and that means I have to re-do sections and re-link products several times. I even give it a few minutes, as the app suggests, but it still won't be saved or will somehow revert back to an older version. It's tedious enough that it really takes away from the app overall, I'm sorry to say.

I can't recommend it enough! Don't hesitate to install. I was looking for a simple app to add product suggestions in-cart, without it feeling too flashy or intrusive for the customer. The design is sleek and the UI/dashboard is so easy to understand - this is HUGE. Others apps I tried were overly complicated. There's also a helpful "getting started" tab that tells you exactly how to set up. I tried various apps and they were so confusing or just designed in a way that, to me, didn't look visually appealing or align with my brand. Or they bombarded me with emails about various things...It was a lot. Plus, Incentivize's tech support is so prompt and excellent.They fixed a small issue I was having with my theme (thank you, Marcus!). This app deserves all the great reviews it gets.
