After testing nearly every single "Product Option"-App, I decided to work with Avis. It is fast, it offers you so many (design) settings, it's just easy to work with. A few things had to be adjusted, so the support is always fast replying and the do a very great job. Special thanks to Judy, Jayden and all the other staff-members!

As a replacement for the Shopify Product Rating app, I tested 8 different other rating apps. LAI narrowly won the race ahead of Loox. Both apps are easy to use, are fast in the frontend and allow many options. In the end, I opted for LAI because the performance is fully convincing and the price is completely fair. The csv-import of my Shopify Product Rating app failed. The support answered only 3 days later – as a bot with an answer that didn't even begin to solve the problem. Deleted the app right away.

The app is really great: easy to install, easy to customize, fun to work with - and super fast loading in the frontend. I would have loved to work with it, but decided against it for two reasons: A) It is not possible to show the full name of the reviewer. I understand that Loox wants to give the reviewer "privacy" – but I find it not very trustful in shops when the name of the reviewer is shortened. B) The pricing is insane! You basically need the 39$ plan if you want to customize it to your needs – while other apps cost only a half or third. I really would love to work with Loox. If there may come a time when the pricing is more affordable for smaller shops like mine – let me know and I'm in.

Die App funktioniert einwandfrei, ist leicht einzurichten und komfortabel zu bedienen. Es gab nach der Installation das Problem, dass die App / die Produktfelder zwischen Preis und Buy-Button oder sogar innerhalb von Blöcken platziert wurde, wo sie nicht hingehören. Diese Problematik hat der Support sehr engagiert und schnell gelöst – und zwar update-fähig.

UPDATE OF MY REVIEW *** The app is doing a great job. It is super easy to work with. My main reason for choosing Transcy are the unlimited words & pageviews! I had some technical issues in the beginnig, that sometimes seem to be bug-related – so I nearly switched to Weglot instead. But the support is outstanding and fast-replying, all problems were solved to my full satisfaction! This is one fact that Weglot can learn from Transcy, as their support is not very helpful and friendly. UPDATE: As Transy won't translate all notifications, this app is useless to me. Selling internationally while sending notifications in my default language German doesn't help. Now I'm changing to Langify …
