Updated 1/22/2023 We love the service and satisfied with the production quality, but recently we have seen something totally unacceptable that must be fixed NOW! When setting up a product in Gelato for your store, the resolution and quality of the preview images placed on your product are high compression/low quality and low resolution. This creates a preview image that trashes your design. We have learned from potential customers that they think this is the quality of the final product and do not buy because of it. This is just terrible and results in significant lost sales. Now we understand why!

We added full support for split-orders (orders that are produced in multiple locations) for Shopify orders leveraging upon your and other customers feedback. Decided to try to remove it. Its bundles break fulfillment with dropship/made-on-demand suppliers. Unfortunately, there is no remove feature, the only option is to downgrade the account to the free account, then call shopify tech support to remove it. We do not recommend this is you use dropshippers.

The interface is unnecessarily complicated. Too many screens have to be navigated to accomplish knowing if there are messages or even replying. However, it is useful and we will continue using it. Recommendation - make the dashboard the place linked to messages and be able to respond much more easily.

WARNING: NEVER INSTALL PRINTFUL IF YOU HAVE ANY OTHER MOD OF POD APPS INSTALLED. Installing Printful with OTHER MANUFACTURING ON DEMAND OR PRINT ON DEMAND vendors can destroy the shipping profiles. If you uninstall both, Printful will recreate the shipping profiles, but you lose your whole catalog of designed products on Printful and according to the company, the only option is to recreate them. Never uninstall Printful or you will lose your designed products. While their support was attentive, they have no way to restore your store's products on their platform - they apparently do not make any backups. Poor design. Additionally, as we have seen, any order that contains a PRINTFUL product and someone else's may reject the shipping address. WE HAVE DISCONTINUED THE USE OF PRINTFUL.

Printful can co-exist with other POD platforms, however, it is true that if you uninstall the app, it would remove the sync and you would have to re-create the items from scratch. We would advise saving your products as Product Templates first, in case you need to adjust your settings/plugin. You can also add this feature request here: https://www.printful.com/feature-request. While I have had several issues with delivery. The killer was the incompatibility with other apps. If you install PRINTFUL with PRINTIFY you will lose your shipping profiles. PRINTIFY cannot repair this. If you uninstall and remove both apps and install Printify again, it does not restore the shipping profiles and loses the designed products. NEVER INSTALL PRINTIFY IF YOU HAVE PRINTIFUL OR ANY OTHER PRINT ON DEMAND APPS INSTALLED.
