The app does exactly what it promises: you choose precisely what to lock and how far to hide them, from menus and site search up to excluding them from Google entirely. The lock screen is fully customisable to your brand. Support is excellent. Joanna helped us through an urgent case with speed and care, and their developer team is available even at night and on weekends in case of urgencies. Recommended.

We had trouble getting started but their customer service was awesome and kept at it till it was integrated with all the other apps we have. Now that the set up is done it's looking great and really easy to use.

We have been using this app to hide product prices and the Add to Cart button since we only sell B2B. The app does exactly what it should. When minor bugs occur, customer service responds very quickly and usually resolves the issue very fast.

I am testing this app out and needed support to be sure I the items were being locked/protected correctly. The customer service rep (Chloe) through the chat was so helpful and patient while I worked to navigate how I wanted everything set up! I cannot attest to long term use yet, but I will be starting to use it over the next month.

The locks look like they work, but they do not actually protect anything. We learned this the hard way. We locked a private collection. When we added inventory, people with no access checked out and bought the locked products. After we complained, support pointed us to a separate "checkout lock" feature we were never told we needed. So the product lock hides pages but does not stop purchases. That should be in bold on the app listing. The hiding does not work either, at least on our theme (Concept, a paid theme from the Shopify Theme Store). The app has no selector mapping for it, so locked products stayed fully visible on collection pages and search. Support did not know this. We had to dig into their script ourselves, find the missing theme mapping, and send them the exact selectors to fix it. Worst of all, the app created a publicly reachable search template on our store that returns raw JSON with SKUs and live inventory quantities for every product, including locked ones. A scraper site used it to detect our private restock and broadcast it. The app meant to keep products private is what leaked them. Support was polite but circular: repeated requests for admin access and collaborator codes, tickets closed prematurely, and blame pointed at our store settings. We diagnosed the root cause ourselves and patched our own theme code while waiting. If you need locks that actually restrict buying, or you sell anything where privacy matters, this app is not safe to rely on as configured out of the box.
It's a wonder how this app got so many positive ratings. I had to uninstall the app, and I asked helpdesk if there is any codes to uninstall before deleting the app. She said no, and asked me to go ahead to delete the app. I later found remnant liquid codes. Approached helpdesk for clarification. Reaction I got was, "oh just go ahead to delete the liquid file too". Such casual attitude in answering customer queries. What if I am not tech savvy? Is there any other files or code in other files that need deleting? With such careless attitude, it might be good to think twice about this app.
This app and their customer support are great! Very quick to respond and answered all my questions. They fixed the exact issue I was having within 24hrs. Would recommend!

I had a problem with setting up a lock and it happened to be on a weekend. Joanna quickly got my problem report to the developers but I didn't expect my problem to be fixed until Monday. I was pleasantly surprised when Haley fixed it on Sunday evening! She didn't have to but she chose to! I love this app add-on for Shopify and the support is great!! Any time I've had a question, they've been great to help! I would definitely recommend!
The Sami B2B Lock, Password Protect app is a very nice add-on for Shopify users. Shopify lacks such an important feature where if you have some products on pre-order, you don't want the public access to them before the pre-order date but perhaps a certain customer group such as VIP members. The Sami B2B Lock, Password Protect app is the great solution to this and perfectly works for my application. While there is one item I wish they could address would be to allow the locked product's placeholder to be clickable for the user to access the locked page. But as a workaround, I'll include the link to the protected product in an e-mail and share the password to the customer group. Haley from Samita is awesome! She went above and beyond to customize the app to match my theme's fonts and colors and replaced the standard lock image, with one that matches my products. Also when the Sami B2B Lock changed the interface, it had a bug but Haley quickly reached out to her developer to fix it. Many thanks to Haley and cheers to the Samita support and development teams! Shopify's awful AI could use more humans on their Support Team especially needing more talent like Haley! Thank you again!
Zur Zeit macht die App bei mir Probleme. Habe es aber mit dem Support wieder hinbekommen. Es gab ein wenig Schwierigkeiten wegen der Sprachbarriere aber auf englisch hat es dann geklappt.
Great app! The Sami app has been very helpful for our Shopify store and works exactly as we needed. We use this app to make selected products available only to members, and it has been very useful for our store. We wanted to replace the default lock image with a custom image that better matched our brand, but we were not sure how to do it. After contacting support, they responded very quickly and helped us customize the display. Throughout the process, the support team was patient, professional, and willing to make several adjustments to achieve the best possible result. They carefully checked each issue and provided solutions promptly. I've installed a lot of apps on my store, and never have I found one so simple to set up! The layout of the back-end of the app is super clean and user friendly. I haven't run into any issues integrating to my store either. Love it so far!

Unhelpful and extremely rude customer service and condescending. When I said I would like a refund for the expired trial as the app didn't work for my needs, customer service responded as if I couldn't understand her. "Let me explain again". FFS. Highly recommend business owners to just use Claude or any AI models to generate solutions for your specific ecommerce B2B needs. I managed in 2 days to solve a problem I had 100%, while Sami did nothing for me.

The app works great, but honestly, the customer service is the BEST. Haley helped me out yesterday and today to get everything set up exactly how I wanted. When I first messaged them, the reply was so fast I legit thought I was talking to an AI, but it wasn't! She was so patient and guided me through every step until it was fixed. Now I see why this app has such high ratings!
