BlogFeeder ‑ Blog Importer

I was just started to manually import every blog post from my WP blog to Shopify when I decided decided to look for a tool to help. 10 minutes later and my entire blog is in! That was amazing, thanks

Needed an app to transfer my Wordpress blog over to Shopify and they have a great one-time option just for transferring. Exactly what I needed. Had trouble when I could only import 10 posts so I thought it was limited in the app. They followed up with me completely unprompted and helped me solve the issue (which ended up being my RSS settings on Wordpress) Great app and great customer service. If you're looking for a way to transfer a blog over to Shopify, this is the one.

We use this for importing industry blogs to our ecom store. The Porch Swing Store It works really well.

Thank you! Smooth and easy to bring my blog over from WP. As long as the WP blog isn't deleted, the images seem to be fine on the Shopify Blog.

www.KingCobraofFlorida.com - great blog importing tool you can see it in action here, only thing missing is photos/images dont seem to be imported

The support is 100% and I can't recommend highly enough. Brian and Daniel helped me sort out a problem I had made the whole process easy. Thank you so much.

Ah-mazing! I was able to seamlessly integrate my WordPress blog with my Shopify store blog! No sweat, no drama! And customer service is definitely a plus!

I used this app to import over 200+ blogs from WordPress and it worked amazingly! They all imported in just a few minutes saved so much time and energy!

This app automatically and reliably copies our Wordpress blog posts to our Shopify sites. It works, and the support is great too.

We used BlogFeeder to import ~800 posts from our old Wordpress site. Pretty neat. The support was good (thanks Daniel !) and accomodating. Tips if you have a whole Wordpress to import with many posts : during the validation of the feed, the app will most likely fall in timeout, due to Wordpress' duration of the RSS feed generation. To counter that, display the RSS feed in your browser, save it as a text file, upload it as a media on your Wordpress site and paste this new URL to the app. Will work like a breeze.

I was having trouble importing my blogs from my current website to Shopify. Shopify recommended BlogFeeder. I was struggling at first, but their support gave me the information needed to get my blogs imported. Also for email support it was quick, I had a response in just a couple hours.

We use BlogFeeder to import blogs from WordPress - a much simpler solution when we moved to Shopify than re-writing 400+ blog posts! All good and the support is good too (although live chat would be helpful).

Did everything it said it would do. Brought over all of my blog articles very quickly and easily, and allows me to make the Shopify articles canonical. I used it in conjunction with the "Excelify" app to push through a number of customizations, such as importing images, removing weird formatting issues (the result of Shopify not offering some of the same carousel/gallery features that wordpress does), and removing the "This article first appeared on [original blog url]" that the app appends to every article. The whole experience took a full day, which is much less than the 40 hours I had calculated it would take. If you want to transfer your images from wordpress to Shopify, I would suggest downloading all of the images from WP into a file using an export app, uploading them into Shopify via their file manager, and then find + replacing the portion of the wordpress path with Shopify's path.

Blogfeeder was pretty simple to use, and everything imported over cleanly. Their support was pretty great as well!

Very easy to use app - I was able to import all my blog posts from Typepad and WordPress within a few hours - support is very responsive and helpful

Did exactly what it was supposed to from blogger. Easily transfered my blogspot to shopify. I purchased the 72 hour option to do a one off job.

Excellent app. I've used another app many months ago but that was not very well developed and so I uninstalled it eventually. This one has imported more than 1000 posts from my wordpress site onto shopify and it looks quite pleasing inspite of it being a mere import. Tremendous value added. Recommended.

Had to do some prep work on the source blog, but once that was done it literally was a click of a button. highly recommended.

helped my import my wordpress to shopify. Really nice they give you a trial. A huge help and recommend. why choose anyone else

This app was so simple to set up, and fast too! The longest part was waiting for the blog to sync with my shop. Now all I need is some clever way of making my shop blog look like a gallery rather than a listing. Thanks Sean :)

I used this app to link my word press blog to my shopify website. Easy to install and use. Totally satisfied with this app - and communication with Blogfeeder.

Awesome app! A must have.. We have used it on 2 sites already and plan on 3 more soon. Easy to use and works well.

super! such an easy way to migrate! i would suggest this app to anyone looking to move thier wordpress blog post over.

Did exactly what I needed, uploaded years worth of blogs from my old blog on wordpress to my new blog on Shopify, very quickly. Didn't like that it couldn't properly import photos into the blog posts, but wasn't too big of a deal. Very helpful and saved me lots of time!

I used it to bring over my blog from Wordpress to Shopify. Worked perfectly and quickly. The featured pictures don't come over - so you have to do that manually. But it was great to have the blogs just populate - and I can add the pictures over time.

Used the app to help migrate from wordpress to shopify blog. Works as advertised. Would recommend to others.

I have used this app to transfer blog posts from Wordpress for about 6 months and have not experienced any problems, it works perfectly. The setup is easy, customer service is first class - I would highly recommend this App.

I used this app to import over 300 posts from two blogs and it worked like a charm. I had read other reviews about people losing pictures, which I expect happens if you do not keep the original blog running. I am keeping it up to use as a summary of my new posts and a referral source, so I didn't lose any images at all. Would absolutely recommend it.

Pretty good so far! The importing process was quick and easy and we are very happy to have the blog integrated on our e-commerce site. The only complaint so far is that only a few blog posts moved over and I would like all the posts to be there.

I used the blogfeeder app for a one time transfer of my Blogger blog into my shopify blog. It worked seamlessly and when I had a slight issue with something the support was incredibly efficient and went over and above to help me correct it. Highly recommended.

This was exactly what I was looking for - a quick and seamless way to integrate my Tumblr as a blog into my website. Thanks!

This app is AMAZING!! I was constantly moving posts from my Facebook page to my site. As you could imagine, it was a VERY slow process. Now, it's AUTOMATED! Awesome app!! Thanks! Lefties Only www.leftiesonlystore.com

Awesome customer service! We had issues with a "first appeared on" text showing up in our Shopify blogs and excerpts, and Ryan from BlogFeeder was very helpful sending us a link with instructions on how to remove the line from the SEO by Yoast Plugin on our Wordrpess, which was actually causing the issue. He also extended our our single use period by 7 days to give us time to resolve the issue and re-sync. Above and beyond!

Works great and I consider it a solid addition to my store

works well to import Blogger. And you can set up different topics and feeds.

Woks excellent, Very easy to use for different feeds, We use to import from SkinCareBySuzie.me to SkinCareBySuzie.com for different categories of information.

I was having an issue with my old site and I contacted technical support for advice. I received a quick answer and a solution and was able to bring all my old WordPress blog posts over perfectly. Great product!

Excellent Plugin, works even with very strange feeds like mine, Recommend 100% for people transferring from magento with a blog.

I have been using this application for a few months now. I have been waiting to leave a review to give it time and see how I like it. I must say it does exactly what it says it does. It links in with no issues. Best of all if you are having a problem with the synchronizing you can sync it manually from the application in your shopify apps. Be patient, do not expect a synchronizing to happen at lighting speed. But it does do it quickly. I will say if you use emoji's in your blog, they do not show up in the synchronizing to your shopify blog. This may be a future update they may add but at this time it does not show up when you view your blog from shopify.

Works great. Great customer service, very responsive and helpful.

Love the app and the support was great! Ryan helped us import all of our blog entries super fast

Excellent product. Worked like a charm and when I needed a few tweaks, the documentation was clear and effective. I needed a bit of custom fiddling because of settings on my old blog and the service rep was able to make the required css changes for my new blog to look perfect. Thanks BlotFeeder.

The app works exactly as described, and the developers seem to have thought of everything. When I had questions, the help person, Ryan, answered over and beyond what I asked. He was very thorough and provided follow up on every point. Very happy with my interaction.

Great app for our organic baby gifts site! We've been using it for over a year and it is very reliable.

Does what it promises - after editing the wp functions.php, it looks neato!

Support is amazing for this app - so helpful in migrating my store to Shopify. Thanks team!

Effortless migration from my previous host, only glitch, I had to reinsert all photos.

Been working perfect for over a year now.

Used this app to migrate our wordpress blog to our new Shopify store. It was SIMPLE. Definitely use this app.

This app is great. Works very well!

I have been using Blog Feeder for several months now and really like it's performance. At first I transferred my blogs from Squarespace to Shopify without any problems. Images, videos and posts transferred over to Shopify without any problems. I also set up one main blog that pulls the latest RSS feeds from my other blogs. It works like a charm and I am very happy with it. My only complain would be that the Featured Image has to be added manually.

Great Support. They deserve more than 5 stars. App works exactly as mentioned. Setup is really easy. Thumbs up to Ryan Frizzell for his awesome support. I would strongly recommend this app.

Excellent help diagnosing a problem. Would be better if chat were available, but the delay was not too bad. Thanks!

Great app! Seems to be able to transfer all blogs very smoothly.

This app easily and accurately moved over 100 blog posts to shopify from wordpress. It took less than an hour. I'm very happy with the results. So simple to use -- almost nothing to read and think through.

Great App, easy to use, and simple to set up.

Excellent app. We just migrated 8 years worth of blog entries, and it worked!!! Thank you for you wonderful work.

Customer service exceeding my expectations. I encountered a unique error importing my content and within minutes received custom help and even extended my trial to ensure all my posts came over correctly. Highly recommend!

Great! Does what it says on the tin and feeds through our Wordpress blog into Shopify. https://www.urbanindustry.co.uk

Plugged it in, paid the fee for the 72-hour use, and got right to migrating a blog from Blogspot. Within minutes it was done. All the content, graphic, and links synced over perfectly. Saved me tons of tedious time cutting and pasting stuff and uploading jpegs. Great job, ShopStorm!

Awesome app! Works seamlessly with Wordpress and the support is amazing!

I initially had issues importing 825 blogs over to my Shopify account, but their customer service was quick and within 12-14 hours I had my entire blog over! I am so happy with this service. I had tried using WordpressImporter and it kept quitting at 2%, so Shopify recommended this app and I am so happy they did. Totally worth it! I've had nothing but issues on my old Wordpress blog that is self hosted, so I am so glad to be rid of it.

Awesome! This app is great! Everything synced up beautifully.

Worked like a charm - this is the best app ever for blogs within Shopify because I can reuse all of my old content and I don't have to mess around with cutting and pasting images. A definite must but for any shopify site.

This app is a godsend - and the app creators are just as amazing. Any time I need a slight tweak to the way something is being pulled into my store they are on top of it and extremely accommodating. Love these guys.

Works as promised and customer service was great in making tweaks for our specific needs as soon as asked. Highly recommend!

ShopStorm support was quick and helpful. We had to prep our our feeds in order to get the most out of BlogFeeder and Justin was good enough to offer both support and an extended license period in which to carry out additional work to really get the most out of BlogFeeder. Great product and helpful support. Very happy. Thanks ShopStorm.

WOW! Something that actually does what it says it is going to do!!! I was whining about doing the old copy and paste for a few hundred posts and such from my previous WordPress site (sure you can export them, but the files are junk) when the thought flickered across my bleary brain to see if there was an app for that. And there was AND it worked! Best $9.99 I have spent in a while. THANK YOU!!! Ya'll nailed this!!!

Works as advertised, thank you!

Great app!!! Moved my blog posts over to my shop with ease. No technical skills needed at all. Customer service is great!!!

Works like a charm! After a couple of weeks there was a slight hiccup that had other posts being imported but with Justin's persistence and some digital luck, it was all resolved and working perfectly as usual. Don't think twice about using this app, just get it and let it sync!

The app has been great for us to add our blog content to our storefront, especially since our origin is a Drupal-based site without a RSS feed at all. Thanks, BlogFeeder!

Downloaded to work on our SEO. I clicked on install, and sync and that was it! Seriously super easy. We did start a new blog so it did not have to transfer much information, but it was still seemless. The only thing I would like is for the articles to transfer in a nicer format, but I think that's more of a Shopify Blog/my theme layout issue, rather than the app. Will keep using on monthly plan. Thank you!

Gosh how easy was that. I have to say Justin and his team are just so helpful. We have a two shops and he sorted it so our blogs works on both the shops. This is one of the best apps available and it was just so easy to to set up and integrate. It proves again that doing business with small businesses is best. Justin is interested and cares about what you are trying to achieve.

This app is better than anything I have found. Although it doesn't bring in all content from my blog sites it is still so much faster than importing all of my posts manually. It should be noted that any links will remain, and if they point to another page on the same site they're coming from it will be a very manual update if you're moving your whole site to shopify like I am. I'm very happy with this app and will be using it more in the future. Highly recommend.

Great app! Super easy to use and they are happy to help you with any issues. They made a custom edit for me when my imported images were distorted into my Shopify blog. Bravo!

Very easy to integrate & use. Does what it says & works like a charm.

So simple to use, I wish more of my life worked this well. We made the transition from Squarespace to Shopify and BlogFeed brought all of our blog post over easily and cleanly. There was some work to do on our end after, mostly because of how we had things set up over at Squarespace, but the crew at BlogFeed was fantastic - responsive, thoughtful, and engaging without being pushy at all. Highly recommend.

Cool app, great customer service

We used this app for the one use import and it worked great! Customer service was very helpful and responsive as well! :)

Exactly what I was looking for, Set-up is a breeze. It is the only app of its kind. Blogs are great SEO boosters for any eCommerce store. This will automatically add any post to social media as a blog entry. If you are currently active on social media, this is a no-brainer. You NEED this app!

This app saved us countless hours migrating from our old blog URL into the Shopify platform. It took less than 3 minutes to set up and worked like a charm.

We are impressed with the clean and complete feed to our Idea Chic site from our wordpress blog. The app tech to host the blog on our url is important benefit and highly recommended.

This app is exactly what I need to keep our customers up to date with the latest going on at our store, but keeping them within the confides of our store. Support for issues has been fast and patient! One thing I don't like is the way each article is an item under "collections". This then means the article will show up when your search for a term under our store.....for example if you search T-shirt, it will also display articles with T-shirt contained in it, along side products. Otherwise, works well.................UPDATE: Since writing the above, I was contacted by Justin in support who helped me solve the problem right away....even though it was a Shopify issue. Justin went ahead and modified the code to fix the issue. Best customer service I've had from any developer. Outstanding.

Great App! Super helpful customer service too.

1. BlogFeeder is an awesome app in general. If you're looking to import or synchronize a blog, look no further than this app! Especially Wordpress, which can be a pain to mirgate otherwise. 2. The customer service for BlogFeeder? Awesome. The creators of this app genuinely care about their users and about their product. If you have any problems with the app, reaching out to ShopStorm is a surefire way to solve them! They are smart, quick to answer, and kind. Thanks again!

WOW I love it! My posts came over super fast :) Totally blown away .. I thought it was going to be an all day thing - love the page breaks .. Thanks so much! Just updated a post from over a year ago on Blogger .. took less than 5 minutes for it to update in my shop <3 Sooo clever <3 I wish I had known how simple this was I would have signed up last year! Only a day old - but looks like it's been there forever! http://dollsanddaydreams.com/blogs/news Thanks Justin!

Very Good!!!!!!!!!!!!! A+++++++++++++

I really love this app. Everything I post on my Facebook page and/or on my site absolutely syncs great. It does very well in my mobile version also. Simple to install. Outstanding customer service. Thank you!! Susan @ www.rentonphoto.com

BlogFeeder is the best way to connect your shop to your existing blog, Instagram, etc. It does it well, and the support is fast, effective and kind.

The app actually helps to direct traffic as you constantly have useful content running on your site. I use it to feed instagram posts and it works really well. Justin is extremely helpful with all my tech issues. Very prompt to response to question and quick everything straight away without fuss. Highly recommended.

the customer service is great. can feel the passion to keep improving.

If you want rss feeds on your website in Good SEO form then install this app , when you've published your RSS onto your website it can then be modified any which way with a novice amount of css/html knowledge.

Absolutely hassle free and does what it should! I've been using it for a long time now and never had any issues! Perfect!

Perfect! All our blogs and other SM pages seamlessly on our Shopify store! And the Customer Service is great too!

Takes the stress and hassle out of adding a blog. Looks like I might use it to add our Facebook feed as well. Awesome!

I've been using Blogfeeder for a while and recently changed my shop template when I had suddenly lost all of my posts. Luckily Blogfeeder has amazing support and Max was able to fix my blog immediately! Super helpful and I couldn't be happier with Blogfeeder!

Took less than a minute to import my tumblr. What more could you want?

Very quick and easy to add BlogSpot, Tumblr and Facebook. The help article on syntax was especially helpful/clear. Up and running in minutes and integrates/looks good.

So far so good, implemented easily and quickly from my facebook page, and I think it will help focus my posts to be more to the point!
