PIX ‑ Image Optimizer

Many bugs

Update : After a few time, the app stopped working, it don't update new images coming in. Customer support is not there. This module seems to be the best image optimizer out there. It's still in the early stage, and there are multiple great functions missing, but he is very willing to add new functions if you request them with him. Please note, he is a solo developer, so there will be some delay in response, we had around 1 week from our first to final chat. But the final update was worth the wait. I don't use the Alt title optimize function, as i have my own make.com flow to update the images alt title based on a lot of variables. But that might come into the app here some day

Unfortunately, the app doesn't work properly and support does not respond to inquiries.

IT WORKSSSS!

one of the best app

Terrible customer service. They never answered back.

Stop looking and just use this app. It's completely free and perfectly optimizes images without quality loss. My site got much quicker! Thank you to the dev for this beautiful gift of an app!

Cannot in good faith recommend this app. Absolutely ZERO customer service and there is a very obvious glitch in the app and seemingly no way to fix it. My website has few thousand images but after this app compresses the image it makes a duplicate, and then strangely that duplicate is then compressed, then find another duplicate has been made! According to the app I now have close to 15,000 images and the number keeps rising every day even when I do not add any extra products! The app never manages to compress all of my images because it just keeps adding to the number. This also seems to be affecting the loading speed of my site - Before adding this app according to Shopify my loading speed was 'Good' it has now changed to 'Moderate'. There have been no other changes to my site apart from installing this app. Have tried contacting them on numerous occassions but no one bothers to reply. I even contacted the email address that they left in a reply to feedback to another customer hoping it would get a reply but again it has been ignored. I have no choice but to uninstall this app and work hard to fix any damage it has done.

I installed the Pix Image Optimization to the shop, Lorenza theme and it caused all of the images to become blurry when I zoomed in. Hopefully, I will get customer support help to reverse this back.

Absolute game changer!

Amazing app

Fast and easy to use. Recommended application to download.

funktioniert nicht!

Helpful support and saves a lot of space! Thanks a lot guys

Amazing app!

PIX - Image optimizer is a super app that does its job in the background. I have installed this app a way back and wanted to let some time pass, before I leave a review. So far I have had no problems an I especially recommend this app to those that have 2000 images or more.

Okay

I am not allowed to Optimize image all products in one go. Have to do one by one which is very tedious. If I have to Optimize image need to contact customer care and pay price. No reply from customer care. Please contact support to unlock all image optimization feature for your store. Stores with more than 1000 images should contact support to ensure that optimization goes smoothly with the best quality for free.

The app seems to work well.. When it works. It crashes so frequently it's almost impossible to use. Constant reloading and refreshing, not all images will upload, pages freeze constantly.

Cool app. works like a charm

I got real website improvement in a few hours which was so good for me.

Fantastic and powerful app. But what sets it apart from all the rest is the owner/developer himself. Ayoub genuinely cares about helping his customers. He spent many additional hours and days to further develop/improve his existing code to help out my store. I genuinely appreciate his app and him as a person for all his service and am very grateful! THANK YOU! A++++++

Works great! Quick and easy to use. Great work.

The app is extremely lightweight and easy to use. I definitely recommend it for any website that wants to go super fast.

Love This App Good Job. Works Every Time. Helps Keep Your Images In Check. You Don't Need To Look Any Further Than This FREE Optimizer. Always runs smoothly, takes little effort to set up and one button push to run, every one should give this a go, it costs nothing to try it and you will love it.

Muy buena aplicación para optimizar el peso y carga de las imágenes. Lo recomiendo para quienes no tenemos experiencia en el uso de estas apps.

Automated image Optimization. helped speed up load times all over our site! the before/after comparison is great!

need a reliable and fast image optimizer? PIX is a great app and unlike other apps delivers on the promise

This shitty app charged me without any notification! Do not download! It does nothing with the pictures and is not free!!! There is only one small notification that you have to pay after 150 images which I only saw after they have charged me! Such a shadey thing to do.... Now I have deleted it, no pictures are optimized but I am less of 11 usd. Thank you!

Så let og hurtig at anvende - og så er enda endda gratis at bruge også Helt klart en anebfald værd!

This app works great! Cleared up space on my website and increased the speed significantly as as result.

Super easy!!! Helped with photo size and sooo quick. Really love this app. Especially its price is great!

So far exactly what I needed for my website! Will update review after using for a while. We have a ton of photos, so hoping for the best.

wanted to give this app 5 stars but the customer service does not exist. I wrote to them 4 times on separate days and never got a reply to address the issues I was having even though they clam to be online all day.

I'm still testing the effectiveness of this application, I'll give a positive review first...................

Great Price and fast image optimization. They give you the ability to revert changes if needed and provides auto optimization of newly added images.

there is no reply or support from tech team. pro version was free and then it became 19.99 and then now its 1.99. the app shows the all images are compressed but when you search for products 261485 images are uncompressed. False advertising and app not functioning as described is my response to an honest feedback.

I guess its working, I mean it's saying its saving Mb on some images which I find hard to believe since other apps only are projecting to only save 15 mb on all images. Maybe im paranoid but if you don't let me download the image to confirm the size difference I really have to trust the app dev.

Very easy to use app and a necessity for all small to medium business owners. Often times customers drop off becuase of slow refresh rate and this app helps with a optimal UX!

I used the app to help my website load faster... It worked! I would definitely recommend it, specially because it was free.

This is a great app. It is very easy to use . I have been using it for a month now and I did increase my store speed.

Best image optimizer app by far! Only thing you could add to it is an image resizer to have multiple sizes for images

Baixei o aplicativo muito fácil de usar e bem intuitivo. Recomendo para quem quer deixar as imagens menores.

Fantastic! This app has helped me shrink the 3500 images on my site by 43%. Easy to use, would definitely recommend.

Muchas Gracias por comprimir las imágenes. Me ayudaron a mejorar más de 20 puntos con su app. Mi web es más veloz ahora que antes.

Super fast and large (560.42 mb) reduction in my image sizes, without any noticeable quality loss, thank you ImpactPixel!!

Thank you for this app. It has really helped me save so much time in individually compressing images

I used the app to optimize my images. It compressed them by up to 30% and no impact to the quality. Had hoped to see an improvement in my webpage load time but nothing obvious.

Thank you. This app is offering so much value without spending even a single penny. Hope it will work well.

Thanks for the services! It helped me optimize my website load speed. Works very simple) All the best from Ukraine

Increíble la aplicación, me ha solucionado la vida. Inmejorable, la mejor de su categoría. Totalmente recomendable.

It's AMAZING! Thank you so much for this app! Easy to use and very fast! You are the best! It's incredible support for small businesses, like mine! Thank you to everyone who worked on this application

great i like that it's free , exactly what i needed for my store , keep up the great work guys and thank you

Amazing app! A MUST-HAVE APP. Thank you for making it free! One request: Please add the image renaming option to fix (Value too long in attribute: additional image link) Warnings. That would be amazing! Thank you!!!

great app, does what it says and its free which is amazing considering most of these apps charge loads!

nice app for Image Optimizer by shopify and easy ...................................................

Fast and does what it says. This app isn't really concerned with the SEO aspects of images, but doesn't claim to be. Instead it compresses images quickly and effectively. Made an impact.

Just want I was looking for, I made my images too big and my shop was really slow to load this app did the job quickly and saved me a lot of work.

this app is awesome! it was able to optimize our images all for free, very happy! would use again. small charge for additional images

very easy to mangage and set everything and happy experience, hope this app work on well on my business.

Seems to work well, price is nice. Seems to work well, price is nice. Seems to work well, price is nice.

This works amazing. I love using this app for all my websites. Crushing, compressing, smushing pictures is probably my least favorite thing to do when working with clients. It's boring and lame and should automated natively but alas someone has finally done it.

The easiest image optimiser app I have found so far on Shopify! PLUS it is completely free which is great for those just starting out.

My speed was suffering and this app help my score a lot! I had over 7000 images that needed fixing. It has made a huge improvement,

best app to optimze, i can recommend it for sure. And it's for free. Thank you guys for this amazing App.

Amazing app for optimizing images and reducing loading time .Plus its free!!!Loved it definitely recommended.

Running the first compression now. Will report back when we see how it goes. Glad there are folks that create useful apps without expectation of making tons of money.

The App Has Promoted Our Free Account To Free Forever For Free (No Charge) Get App and great service! Would highly recommend

I installed this App yesterday and within a day it had optimized thousands of pictures on my site and had saved 6000MB of Space. This is the best App I had ever used from Shopify App Store. Whereas other Apps are charging a huge amount of money for this service, this APP is completely free for users. I highly recommend to all E-Commerce and Drop Shippers to use this App. The Best App of Shopify.

App is in beta phase. We didn't record any changes in bytes of image sizes (maybe we already reduced their sizes significantly, but this app claims it has an Al algorithm to do better). Auto Optimization and Bulk Edit Image alt text are not working. After we did add a new product, it was not listed on the app product list. Chat box says "We reply immediately," not so.

Does what it says on the box, just what we were looking for. thanks for the great service. Images all the right size.
