GoSEO ‑ SEO Products

Sept. 15/2025 Update on our first review below from a while back. Our store was on Pause & Build for a few months. We recently re-opened and just added the app again. Of course while it was on pause, we lost rankings without the app, however, in just over one week since re-installing GoSEO, we are seeing excellent Google rankings again. I am very pleased and can only see it getting better. I did take extra time last week to go over each product and optimize those that were new and not done from before. It's important and worth the extra time to do this. Follow the easy steps when optimizing and you will see good results in a very short time. Axel is always there if you run into any problems. It's a great app, very reasonably priced and I highly recommend it. Thanks again. www.thekitchenpantry.com ********************************************************* Aug./2022. We just re-activated our second store on Shopify today and one of the first tasks was to install the SEO Products Optimizer. We installed it (Premium Plan) on our first store - www.gtadiecast.com - just a few weeks ago and the results are amazing. Many of our products are already on page 1 or 2 on Google. The premium plan is very reasonably priced and the results are excellent. As I pointed out for our first store, it's wise to complete all of the recommendations when optimizing to get the full benefit of this very easy to use App. Lastly, Axel has always been there to provide support. Just a great person to deal with !! Thanks, www.thekitchenpantry.com Thank you so much! I'm so happy to read that it gave you really nice results and that your products are more easily found in the search engines : that's the aim of the app. Congrats to you, it's also definitely due to your efforts on optimizing your content following the app recommendations. And finally, thanks for your kind words about me and my support :-)

The customer support I have received from Axel has been brilliant, the app meanwhile is ideal for improving the SEO on my website www.tradesports.co.uk and to be honest I never realised the ALT image descriptions were so important, 5 star for ease of use and value for money. Thanks so much! Don’t hesitate to get back to me via the integrated chat in the app if you need anything else! I am always happy to help 😊

Je kan echt niet goed je seo optimaliseren met deze app, je moet dat product per product doen, dat is niet zo handig. I'm replying in English for clarity. The merchant asked about bulk optimization, but it's not available in the app because Google can detect and penalize automated bulk optimizations. That's why GoSEO focuses on manual, product-by-product optimization : it's more effective for long-term SEO results, which is the main goal of the app.

Title: Wastes More Time Than It Saves - 2/5 Stars I recently tried GoSeo's free version, with hopes of streamlining my SEO practices. Unfortunately, it did not live up to my expectations, proving to be more of a time sink than a helpful tool. To begin with, the free version of GoSeo doesn't give you access to a comprehensive "SEO recommendations & score" feature. This alone makes the tool less informative than I had hoped. Furthermore, the keyword analysis is frustratingly manual. For each product, I had to manually copy and paste the keyword from the title into a box. Only after I did this did the tool's keyword "score" turn green, which isn't a useful feature in my opinion since and the thought of doing this for hundreds of products is not my idea of fun. A high-quality SEO tool should be able to automatically analyze the existing keywords, not require input for a basic function like this. Additionally, the tool prompts for tags, despite the interwebs saying that Google doesn't pay attention to shopify tags. If you choose to use the 'auto' function, it generates non-relevant tags, thereby suggesting that you waste time on an aspect that doesn't contribute to SEO. As for the premium version, it allows for a second keyword score. But again, this is too manual. The interface itself is not impressive either. It offers no net value gain over the default Shopify page, making the overall experience feel redundant and unproductive. There is mention of a JSON-LD premium tool, which I didn't get a chance to test. However, based on the limited functionality and usefulness of the "product optimizer" tool, I have little faith in the added value of the premium features. In summary, every minute spent on this tool feels wasted. I regret to say that, in my opinion, you'd be better off reading a basic Shopify SEO guide and investing your time in learning chat gpt. The notion of a tool that wastes more time than it saves is, to me, as nearly as bad as one that doesn't work. So, regrettably, I'm rating GoSeo = 2 stars. Thanks. But let me tell you. If you were looking for an app to « save some time » then you are right, you installed the wrong app. SEO is not magic and requires to spend some time. The app is made to give you some proper SEO results not to save you some time. Other merchants mention it in their reviews : they got a signifiant traffic increase after following my app recommendations or by applying the other features of the app (JSON LD, the products optimizer or the images optimizer). You were probably looking for a magic button that would do everything for you which is not possible with SEO if you don’t want to be penalized by Google. That being said, in the era of AI, I agree that my app currently lacks some features in this domain but as stated in the email I sent you, I am actually exactly working on these features that will be ready in the app by the end of summer. Anyway, thanks for probably taking more time to write this review than actually using the app (around 20 minutes).

Easy and simple to use. Handy free version. Have not used long so unsure the impact on website traffic yet Thank you very much for your review! If you have any questions while using the app, don’t hesitate to contact me :)

I recently had the pleasure of using an app created by Axel Hardy and I must say, it is absolutely amazing! The app is so easy to use, and after just a couple of weeks, I have already started seeing results in my Shopify store. What sets this app apart from others, however, is the incredible support that Axel provides. When I reached out for assistance, Axel was quick to respond and was able to fix the issue with little effort on my end. I have worked with many developers on Shopify, but I must say that Axel is one of the best I have ever worked with. I wish Axel every success in the future and would encourage everyone to check out this app. You won't regret it! I've tried a couple of SEO optimizers since starting my Shopify store and this one has been the most user-friendly, though not at the expense of any features. I'm not very tech-savvy and contacted support with a couple of queries. The customer service I received via email was phenomenal - fast, friendly, and written at a level that I can understand without any complicated jargon. I honestly could not recommend this app or the developer more. Thank you! This is an awesome review, thank you so much. Glad you mentioned the fact that the app is user-friendly as it's a point I'm working on a lot. I'm a Jewelry Artist so I like to spend most of my time being creative and that's why this app is invaluable to me. I like the fact that I don't necessarily need to be on a learning curve about SEO. This app does it for me. It prompts me to do what you need to do and keeps you on task until it's done and you are good to go with "green". It is so visually satisfying because as you complete the tasks, they turn green. I would highly recommend this app to anyone wanting to take advantage of SEOs and doing it correctly, but doesn't have time to learn it. What I love most about the app, is that as you continue to use it, you get better and better at it and are learning anyway and you don't even realize it. It's quite amazing. Give it a try. That's exactly a point I had in mind when building this app at the beginning. That's also an aspect I want to develop for the future updates. There will soon be short videos to explain different parts of SEO in order to make you even more comfortable with it. Thanks again, it's always a pleasure to read this kind of feedback!
