Almost perfect but it is time consuming to always redo the search update by udpate. Why not make the search or filters hold once the product is updated??? Thank you so much for the 5-star review. We truly appreciate it 🙌 We completely understand your point about the search or filters resetting after each product update. When working through multiple products, that extra step can definitely add up. Fortunately, there are a couple of workarounds you can use. One option is to open products in separate browser tabs. This keeps your original filtered search results open and unchanged in the main tab, while each product opens in its own tab for optimization. Once you are done editing a product, save the changes, close that tab, and continue from your original filtered list without having to reapply the search or filters. Another option is to go directly to Shopify Admin → Products. There, you can use Shopify’s own filters to narrow down your product list first. After filtering, you can either open multiple products in new tabs from that list or select an individual product, click on More actions, and choose Optimize Yoast SEO for Shopify. This way, you can control filtering from Shopify and avoid losing your filtered view inside the app. We will also follow up with you via email with more precise guidance and screenshots to make everything even clearer. Yoast SEO for Shopify has been extremely helpful in optimizing our store pages properly. The step-by-step guidance, clear SEO indicators (green/orange/red), and focus keyphrase recommendations make on-page SEO much easier to understand and implement. The tool is very user-friendly inside the Shopify admin and helps improve titles, meta descriptions, content structure, and readability. It’s especially useful for avoiding keyword cannibalization and keeping SEO clean across home, collection, and product pages. Highly recommended for Shopify store owners who want to improve search visibility without needing deep technical SEO knowledge. So far, my experience with Yoast on the Shopify Platform has been great. I was having a few issues with Structured Data and Sid gave me a detailed explanation to help me understand the flow between Yoast and my Review App, Judge me. I think more Shopify owners need to understand the value of organic ranking. Organic traffic converts 50–70% better than cold traffic. That matters. This is a very good app for SEO and very helpful; it's clean, provides important features for search ranking, support is very helpful and quick to respond. But it's not quick fix, obviously, and requires a lot of manual labour to be utilized efficiently. If you have a lot of products, be prepared to spend time. A lot of time. However, Shopify is really bad for organic SEO ranking so it's really vital to use an app like Yoast to increase sales. I noticed an overnight jump in increased traffic on our Google Console Account after spending basically an entire day re-writing meta tags in Yoast. My only downvote would be the lack of option to automate product title to alt tags to save time, and the lack of information where to edit errors found in scheme and rich snippets, and so on. I also find the AI feature quite weak and useless in some respects; it should allow automated propagation of the product title to save on time. I also wish they had a different pricing structure as I find the price a little heavy for small stores. Maybe a one time price to fix issues could be an attractive option. I also don't like that the app leaves behind a lot of ghost code once you uninstall it, even after following the cleanup recommendations. But, other from that it's a good app that I would recommend.

Really useful tool to use daily to optimise our collections and products. Simple to find related keywords in the app and not over complicate it. Good for all team members to use as part of daily tasks, even those not as experienced in SEO as the explanations as to why you are changing something are really helpful. Links to more detailed articles are also very informative. When an issue came up with our theme clashing, it was quickly resolved and so very happy with the support side too.

I've been using the Yoast SEO app for 4 years on my Shopify store and seen significant results. Traffic increased and conversions are up too! It breaks down SEO (on-page, technical, off-page) simply and effectively. The courses are fantastic for learning and implementing SEO. Yoast's customer service is another huge plus. They're always helpful and responsive, solving my issues quickly. Their app was so valuable, I added it to my second site. I definitely recommend Yoast for anyone serious about SEO.

Eating my words here. I'm not at a level yet where I can justify having Yoast SEO on my site. Yes it's cheap for most brands to be able to manage but with my company investment in other areas I have decided to uninstall. One thing I will say is their support is honestly incredible. They are so quick to get back and have given me comprehensive personalised guides on everything, even down to uninstalling. Brilliant team running the Yost app, hopefully I will be back one day Can't lie, did't really work for me. Nothing in addition to what you already get on Shopify. I uninstall and it somehow made my SEO worse by messing up all of my SERP and meta info.

Response sent on December 13th, 2023: Thank you for sharing your feedback with us, though we're sorry to read about the experience you had. We understand how troublesome this must have been, so please allow us to address your points and concerns. Based on the details of your review, we understand that there is/was leftover code in your theme files after removing our app. This usually happens if the app is deleted without completing the two-step process (https://yoast.com/help/remove-yoast-code-from-theme-in-shopify/), which requires first deactivation of the app to remove our code from the theme, and then deletion of the app from the Shopify admin. Or if another (usually SEO-related) app interfered with the removal process. Fortunately, there is no need for time-consuming manual code removal (which we can do for you if needed) in this case, as this can be easily fixed with a simple reinstallation and uninstallation process. Here are the next troubleshooting steps to take: 1. Re-install the Yoast SEO app on your site. 2. Instead of "Get a subscription," click on "Remove theme modifications.". Please wait until the process is finished. 3. Click on Go back to Apps and then remove the app again. We noticed that you have already contacted us on this process a day after you left this review, so we will follow up via email in case you need any clarifications or additional assistance. Regarding your feedback on how your SEO was affected after the uninstallation and on what our app offers, we'd like to clarify that for the former, that most probably had to do with the leftover code due to the missed deactivation step in the process. For the latter, though indeed there are things that can be done by Shopify itself, our app offers several unique benefits like SEO and Readability analysis, Social media appearance control, automatic output of the right schema, canonicalization, and others. Moreover, as SEO is more of a marathon rather than a sprint, it is quite difficult to get substantial results with only a few days of use. Constant optimization is required for the best possible results, and our app is always being updated to follow the standards (which change frequently) set by Google and other search engines. So though some things may appear simple or not needed for some stores, there is a lot going on "under the hood" and things that you can do to maximize the benefits of your top products/collections using our app. In all cases, we would like to get to know more about the experience you had, see how we can help you further if needed, and provide additional clarifications to address your feedback and concerns. So our team will soon follow up via email. Lastly, we'd like to clarify that we have not responded earlier to your review, as systemically, Shopify reviews are visible two days after being submitted.

I enjoy using this app. For me someone who is new to marketing online and SEO. The app makes it clear and easy to see what I need to optimize. The color ranking is perfect for that! My only suggestion is AI in the app to help with keywords, tags, and descriptions. At the moment, I'm switching about to do that. It would take this app to space and beyond. AAA+++ recommend to anyone.

As a developer, one of the most important to me with apps / Plugins is the support. I had an issue and contacted yoastSEO support. They answered me within less than 24 hours. They opened a ticked and after a while they released a bug fix for this issue! I am impressed with the serius they are taking their customers needs. Way to do. Beside of that, I would like to mention the progress the Shopify shop make with yoastSEO help on the SEO parameters. Thank you.

Makes optimizing pages easy. Works well with Shopify. The team is helpful and responsive. Reported an issue and they kept me in the loop until it was resolved. Would definitely recommend!
