How does this useless app have 4.8 stars? This app serves no purpose at all. You can set up ads on TikTok without this app. You cannot even sync your Shopify catalog to TikTok. Complete garbage. I have wasted days for nothing. TikTok and Shopify both should be disgusted at misleading customers.
Am I missing something? Why only allowed to translate 2 languages? While the app did a great job of translating the two languages I chose, it was disheartening to see so little variety.

Translate & Adapt allows for 2 auto translated languages. You can translate up to 20 languages manually (that's 18 languages more). There is a cost associated with letting merchants auto-translate and that is the reason why it is limited. We are looking options to pay for additional languages similarly to other translation apps in the Shopify ecosystem. Translate & Adapt is the only app that lets you auto translate whole 2 languages for free. We have seen merchants who want to auto translate more language and are using other apps or Translate & Adapt in addition to other apps.
Maybe I am the problem. I had high hopes for this app based on reviews and the demo site. However, I uninstalled in under 30 minutes. The app’s interface is crowded and instructions are too wordy and confusing. A video pops up after installation to help, but, honestly, if I have to watch an almost 20 minute video to understand the basics, I’d rather just pass. Some things should just be intuitive.

I am updating my previous review from a 1 to a 4. Thanks to the assistance of the app developer, I discovered my store is seen under my Twitter profile, but only using the Twitter app on an iPhone. Because I only own an iPad Pro, I could not see it. I borrowed my daughter's iPhone and saw my store displaying properly. Hopefully Android users and tablet users will be able to see my shop as well. Thank you to the developer who answered my email within minutes of sending it.

Please note that products in your shop will currently only appear on mobile devices in the US - our team was able to verify that your shop is visible on an iOS device in the US (we will be launching our Shops offering on Android shortly). I'm a big fan of this app and the staff. I have the paid $29.99 a month option, which is packed full of features that help me automate many of my social media posts. The backend can be a bit confusing because there are so many settings, but Customer Service is always willing to come in and help out. Oftentimes, they will simply do it for me. Customer Service is topnotch, something that cannot be said for many Shopify app developers. I highly recommend the app for not only its kick-butt features, but its staff which answers questions well into the middle of the night, which is when I usually work. :)

Once you figure out how it works, it's not bad. The process can be long and tedious, mostly waiting for Google to approve you.
