So far so good on this app. Developer was responsive-- there were some plugin compatibility fixes that they refused to implement (e.g. working with other plugins like the awesome Discount Code viewer, dcode), but all-in-all this has been a good addition to my store.
Update 2019-06-21: Lowering from 2 stars to 1 star. Well, not only did they leave a lot of worthless code slowing down the pageload of my site (they offer in the reply below to log in and remove them if I want), but they have been spamming me since my 2-star review. (I'm just not that into you, guys...) Email #1 from them: "Please don't leave us." Email #2 from them: "Regarding your review..." Email #3 from them: "How are we doing?" ?? A support survey for the message they sent me about the review? Email #4 from them: "Sorry for the delay" ?? Leave me be, please! Then they replied to the review... and I got notified of that response. And.. then they called us about the review! In the call, they didn't address any of my concerns, nor seemed sympathetic. They basically indicated the product direction would never include customizing options based on a user's Shopify variant selection (maybe a new "app" they want to sell eventually so they don't want to enhance this one too much?) All in all-- I spent a lot of money, got negative value (huge waste of my time and some slowdowns) from their app, and then was pretty much harassed by them about leaving a 2-star review, with no desire to improve their product. Before giving up, I swear I went back to the app like 3-4 times over months to give it another try but I just couldn't make it work. Maybe if I sold t-shirts it'd be the bees knees... but anything more complex? Nah, shop around for another addon. Or if you're feeling lonely, leave them a low review and they'll want to talk to you plenty... ----- ORIGINAL REVIEW: They helped me set this up initially and it never worked very well even after. View never ended up showing the total price with options combined, even after they helped. Sounds like they thought they fixed it but it wasn't working in our browsers. Just was too much hassle to bother with them again and I hoped to get around to working with it. In addition, I really needed it to be aware of the selected variant (e.g. if the person chose variant 2, then the options should change conditionally for that item, including maybe adding a different variant to cart if they selected the option). To their credit they were fairly responsive, and told me they didn't support that use-case. But I've paid months of this and never used it because it's a pain to use and never showed up properly. They make money because they've been around for a while but it feels like they're just coasting with this app and not really trying to improve anything. If they gave me any impression they were looking to improve the app. Now I'm going to uninstall it but their uninstall process says "oh, we'll leave a bunch of junk in your liquid files but it should be harmless" rather than having a professional approach to install/uninstall. I recommend shopping really hard for an alternative options app before trying this one.

Hi there! We're so sorry to hear about the troubles you're having with Product Options. We've tried to get in touch a couple of times but we understand that you may have found an alternative. If interested in speaking with an expert we'd be happy to accommodate a time to talk. Thank you, we'll try to get in touch once more.
God these guys! Alright, they spammed me multiple times to go review and so I'll do it. Love the idea of the app, but their own support is really so poor it makes me worry how anyone can use their app for support. If you want to use Android, don't bother-- there's no app AND the web integration is completely broken. (It's close but has a major bug where you can't type anything to respond.) The CEO spams us with requests to review. I reply telling them their Android browser site is completely broken for responding to tickets-- I get two completely different people responding (not the CEO) and they're clueless as to what's going on or how to fix the issue. So they just say "use iOS" or something-- this is 2018, no idea why that's even possibly a response. Then I get another spam from their CEO saying I should review the app. So here I am... I hope they're happy! Maybe he reads these? Oh, and before I even tried Gorgias for real I asked them if they had a very simple feature via FB messenger-- I asked them if a customer could view their own tickets across different services or if they were left piecing it together from their chat logs/etc. Seems like an obvious help desk thing to do, right? Let customers see their own ticket history and responses, etc? (Just like what agents see, or perhaps cleaner...) but no, no such feature. Not the end of the world not to have a feature (I signed up anyway), but the support experience from them on Facebook was so bad. I realize now it's because they're using Gorgias itself and have multiple people responding. So the 1st person didn't understand what I was asking (hadn't seen a real helpdesk portal before I guess) and brushed me off--- then the 2nd person was confused, too. Finally I think that when I was fed up they put someone who was STILL confused, but at least was more cordial and finally understood what I was asking to tell me that, no, the novel feature of giving my VIP customers a way to see their ticket history wasn't something they'd thought of before (or didn't seem to have a desire to add). Like I said, not the end of the world not to have a feature like that-- perhaps I'll write it myself, but it should have tipped me off how bad their support quality is. The app itself on desktop is fine-- though it has a long way to go to be easy to use. If you have a lot of tickets, the very flat view structure they have will limit you and get cluttered/confusing (as the defaults already are). A little more iconography or folders or something would go a long way. Rules and their integrations seem to work pretty well, so I can't really fault them there-- I think that will go okay, especially if they work to refine things. But fundamentally if their own company can't even use the tool to create good support for their own tool, it really worries me that the entire premise of the tool is flawed for good support. It feels like whoever is on staff grabs any ticket and their goal is very rapid closing without actually solving issues-- and because the agent changes and they're rushed, they don't really engage at all to understand the question or issue. TLDR: App has potential, but (1) their own customer service is responsive but dismissive/un-engaging/etc which makes me feel like their own tool doesn't lend itself to amazing customer service (or they don't understand good customer service enough to be building this app), (2) they have no feature to let customers follow their own ticket history (which is big for building long-term loyalty and is found in most ticket systems), and (3) they literally ignore one of the most popular browsers on earth (Android/Chrome) and are dismissive that it doesn't work when they don't have an Android app yet. Oh, and they'll spam you to review their app without even bothering to be sure you're satisfied.
*Edit*: This review was while the app had just launched and I've moved it to 5 stars. It works great! The team reached out to me and got it working for my premium theme and I'm quite pleased with their engagement, understanding, and enthusiasm. Very very pleased with this and I'm impressed with how this simple idea works so well. Definitely recommend this if you want a super-easy mechanism to offer secret collections to your VIPs. Even when I had trouble initially, the app was very gentle to my theme and didn't mess up anything on install/uninstall. But now everything is working great! My original review for reference: Really wanted this to work, but did nothing with my theme at all. Doesn't look like it even tried to install. Didn't show me anything but manual collections to hide and then didn't hide anything, etc. I imagine if you have an easy/simple theme then it would work okay to do its thing, but though it could generate links that took you to the collection, it didn't do anything to hide the product/collection from search/etc without its theme changes. 2 stars because it didn't destroy my store on uninstall -- but otherwise I would have done 1 star because it literally didn't do what it said it would. Only leaving a review because it had none, otherwise I would just assume it's not intended.
So amazing. I've used tools many years ago that tried to do something similar (clicktale) but I think they've gotten the user interface really close to perfect. Big fan of this-- gives you perfect visibility of what your customers are running into when they have problems/confusions/etc.
Excellent app-- they helped me immediately when I needed help setting it up properly for my store. Quite a good experience!
Quite pleased-- didn't have a huge number of photos, but I was happy it was so inexpensive to use this. Good stuff.
