The team was really supportive and cooperative when we were integrating the app to the website as due to the update we had some issues. Jordan was super helpful and professional. He was very supportive and gave the perfect solution. I was really thankful. The first month was really good.
Game changer for my business. I can now see the whole experience of a shopper, and use the insights to improve the experience. I love this tool.
lots of recordings don't work, they don't record entire sessions, the usability has gotten worse. Rubbish.

I initially had some issues connecting my site, but received personal 1:1 support to get my site connected. I'm glad I did, because the tooling provided is extremely helpful for gathering insights on what my customers are seeing, doing, and reacting to. I particularly like the checkout events insights which not all heatmap apps can offer. This is a polished experience with really helpful human support able to connect when you have trouble. Highly recommend.

I use Microsoft Clarity, which offers similar features for free. I’m not really sure why I need to pay so much for this app when I can get similar functionality without any cost.
This app is fantastic! It gives me a daily pulse on how our store is doing. It also gives me insights into where customers get confused, what barriers might be preventing a sale due to our website UX, and what areas of our website are working well. This app is well worth the money.
Really choppy and hard to just watch the video straight through. Whatever the new user face is or the user interface is, it's pretty terrible.

Lucky Orange has been extremely helpful for understanding how customers use my store. The session recordings and heatmaps make it easy to see where shoppers hesitate, what they click on and where improvements are needed. It has helped me identify issues I would never have noticed otherwise. Easy to use and a valuable tool for any Shopify store owner.
We normally receive around 1,000 to 2,000 website visitors per month. Over just a few days in August, we were hit with tens of thousands of automated bot sessions, and Lucky Orange counted that traffic toward billable usage. That resulted in nearly $600 in Lucky Orange-related charges in one month, which is roughly what we had budgeted to spend on the service for an entire year. We contacted Lucky Orange on August 8 after the first bot-related charge and specifically asked for help preventing automated traffic from consuming our billable usage again. Despite that, we were charged again on August 30. What followed was more than a month of confusing support responses, unclear refunds, and repeated difficulty getting the two billing events properly addressed. They eventually refunded one $235 usage charge but refused to refund the other. We have now cancelled Lucky Orange because we no longer trust the billing to be predictable, and the customer service and communication problems became irresolvable. We intend to continue addressing the remaining disputed charge through Shopify and our payment provider or bank. The analytics product itself has useful features, but small businesses should be very cautious about bot traffic, automatic usage billing, and spending limits.
This is an amazing app! You can see so much data to who make edits to your website, make the experience better for your customer. It’s truly super helpful. You need the time to be able to review it all but it’s helpful! Try it out!

Lucky Orange is great for gaining insight into how visitors interact with our website and where we can improve. The customer support has also been very helpful. Justin took the time to investigate a tracking issue with our Shopify setup and clearly explain what needed to change. Really appreciate the support and personal attention!

This app is really good and it helped me to discover problems with broken URLs for my ads and it helped me to see what products people are interested in. I highly recommend it.
Lucky Orange has already proved worthwhile for my store, Just A Clock Collector. Watching real visitors shop helped me catch our clock movement finder returning irrelevant search results, which we’ve since corrected. I also added buttons to sold-out vintage clock pages directing shoppers to related collections—and I can actually see customers using them! Instead of guessing what needs improvement, I’m making changes based on how people really use the site. It’s helped me spot issues I would have missed just looking at traffic numbers and turn those observations into a better shopping experience.
Not just Heatmaps, but deeper business analytics to help you grow your business. Highly recommended!

I had an onboarding call with Justin Tomlinson for Lucky Orange, and he was absolutely amazing. He answered all of my questions efficiently, but what I appreciated most was that he also took the time to point out things I didn’t even think to ask about. He gave me so much helpful information and insight into how to better understand and use the platform. I almost forgot to ask about the Discovery AI feature, and Justin made sure to explain that clearly as well. He was knowledgeable, patient, thorough, and made the entire onboarding experience extremely valuable. It really makes a difference when you invest in a company and they have people who genuinely help you understand how to use the product instead of just leaving you to figure everything out on your own. I left the call feeling much more confident about using Lucky Orange and understanding my visitor data and analytics. Thank you, Justin, for such a great experience. I really appreciated your help!

i have not activated and paid subscriptions on your app and removed it from my shopify store please remove the charges alert i am getting. i am getting payment reminders please do not send me reminders on shopify as i havent used app or there is no issue of refund there is a issue of reminder payment failure by me in shopify store as i have uninstalled my app from shopify still getting payment failure messages it could lead to my shopify store to get freezed please solve this. please make a refund now as i have made payments without using your app even a single day please refund.

The heatmaps are great and it's nice to be able to get clear analytics about how people are interacting with the site. I wish there was a clearer integration with GA4 and that there was an obvious scroll depth analytics feature but we've only been using Lucky Orange for a day so far so maybe it's hidden away? I also got confused about the chat function as I thought at first it was Support Chat, not a brand chat function for the website. The unlimited seats are nice so I can help onboard the rest of the team as well.

I had a great experience today with Justin. It was supposed to be for 15 minutes; however, he was gracio9us enough to go beyond to ensure that I understood how to properly use the platform. I've only been on Lucky Orange for two days but think I am going to like using the platform and give me some really good insight as far as data and gaps.

After using a free heatmap/session tool for a while, and then trying Lucky Orange, the difference was immediate. The interface is genuinely intuitive — I wasn't digging through menus or watching tutorial videos just to find basic session recordings. Everything I need (heatmaps, session replays, conversion funnels) is right there in a dashboard that actually makes sense at a glance. Coming from a free tool, I didn't realize how much time I was losing to a clunky UI until I didn't have to deal with it anymore. Lucky Orange's dashboards surface the insights that matter without me having to piece them together myself. For anyone running an ecommerce storefront and trying to actually understand user behavior (not just collect data and hope you have time to dig into it), this has been a genuinely useful upgrade.

This app is really useful, especially when you're first starting out as you can see exactly what your customers are looking at and for how long. You can even see where their mouse is moving (which is often following their eye movements). I've often watched a playback of a customer journey and seen something that could be improved on the website - or even where something wasn't showing correctly. You can also see when a potential customer is coming back to view something for a second, third or fourth time. There are more features but this is what I've found most useful to date.

Very useful app I have installed and used across three of my websites in the last few years. Lucky Orange lets me watch in real time what customers are doing and what they're clicking on. Many times I can work out which wholesale customer it is and if they're having trouble working out how to place an order I just jump on the phone and call them at the time. Has won and saved many an order.

I found this app by recommendation from chatgpt and have had my store live for just over a week now. So far the Lucky Orange app has been really useful for monitoring clients behaviour. The app can play videos of what named people have done whilst visiting my store, and it's listed on the side as well, search made, item added to cart etc. After being in the textile design industry for 25+ years, I have just set up my gated online store, selling my design archive of 17000+ designs b2b. Lucky Orange will be a useful tool to monitor that clients are not just browsing my store as a free inspiration library.

Lucky Orange is great for shopify stores. What sets it apart is the ability to watch real session recordings on your checkout page, so you can see exactly where customers drop off is and to improve your conversion rate.

We feel Lucky Orange gives us very valuable insight into our customers' online behavior. Seeing the time spent in each section, or the searches and where they lead, help us shape our site to suit our visitors. UPDATE: 7 years of loyalty met with a 2,400% hike and technical excuses. I would like to clarify the facts regarding the developer’s response: After being a loyal customer for 7 years, I am deeply disappointed by how this transition was handled. A move from a $10 plan to a $249 plan—a 2,400% increase—without explicit consent is not professional practice. In a serious business environment, the standard procedure for discontinuing a legacy plan is to suspend service or limit data until the customer manually selects a new tier, rather than automatically charging a tier 24 times more expensive. Furthermore, the handling of the refund was unacceptable. It took seven emails and multiple explanations of PayPal’s own system before the refund was initiated. The repeated claim that an open dispute "blocked" the refund is factually incorrect according to official documentation; the "Issue Refund" button is specifically designed to resolve and close cases simultaneously. While the refund has now been processed, it only occurred after I threatened a formal Shopify Partner Violation report. After 7 years, the lack of transparency and the attempt to make me waive my buyer protection has resulted in a complete loss of trust. I will not be returning to this service. 24.04.26------------------------------------------------------------------------ I have been a loyal customer for years on a $10/month legacy plan. Without my explicit consent or any manual confirmation, Lucky Orange automatically migrated my account to a $249/month plan. This is a staggering 2,400% price increase! When I contacted support to resolve this unauthorized charge, the experience became even more concerning. They are currently refusing to issue a refund unless I first close my PayPal dispute. They claim the open case "blocks" them from refunding, which is technically false. According to PayPal’s own documentation, issuing a full refund is exactly what resolves and closes a dispute automatically. By asking me to close the case first, they are essentially asking me to waive my buyer protection, as a closed PayPal dispute cannot be reopened. This feels like a predatory tactic to hold my funds hostage. Pros: The software used to be good for the price. Cons: Unethical billing practices, predatory "bait-and-switch" pricing for long-term users, and deceptive support regarding refund procedures. Verdict: Avoid this app if you value transparent billing and ethical business practices. After years of loyalty, I am extremely disappointed by this breach of trust.

To ensure our long-term users have time to prepare, we send notifications in advance for any plan changes detailing any updates and inviting questions. Our priority was keeping your data tracking seamless. To prevent any service interruptions, we moved you to the plan that most closely matched your existing allotments. When you reached out, it became clear you were looking for a smaller plan. Our team immediately offered to "right-size" you to a plan that better suited your budget and needs, while offering to credit the difference. Regarding the PayPal dispute, once a formal chargeback is opened, the funds are held by the processor. To avoid the complications of a "double refund" (which can happen if a manual refund and a processor-led reversal collide), we typically have to wait for the arbitration process to conclude. While we suggested closing the dispute to speed up a manual refund on our end, we understand your preference to maintain PayPal’s buyer protection. To resolve this for you as quickly as possible, we have already processed a full refund for the charges in question. We value the time you spent with us. This app fails at its core purpose. It doesn’t reliably record key moments of the customer journey, you often can’t clearly see where users click, and around 40–50% of the recordings are completely broken, with large portions of the page missing or not rendered at all. This makes the data unreliable and, in many cases, unusable. I initially kept the app installed to give it another chance and review more sessions on a different day, but I unfortunately forgot to uninstall it before the trial ended and the billing cycle started. Despite explaining this clearly and politely, customer support refused any form of refund. What makes it worse is the support experience: instead of addressing the issue, they keep pushing for “demo calls” and tips, which is completely irrelevant when the problem is billing and product reliability. Once they have your money, the experience noticeably drops. Overall, between unreliable tracking and poor customer support, this has been a very disappointing experience. I would not recommend this app.

To ensure transparency, Shopify requires explicit approval of the subscription terms before the trial begins; this outlines that billing will start automatically unless the plan is canceled. Because these terms were accepted, the charge was processed per standard billing policy. Regarding the technical issues you mentioned, we take these reports very seriously. We reviewed our records and noticed that these issues were never mentioned when you initially reached out to our team. We reached out on April 9th to gather more details or to hop on a call so we could investigate the recordings and journey tracking, as we want to ensure the app performs perfectly for you. As a new startup, we didn't have any traffic to our website when we first added Lucky Orange, and I wasn't really sure how it was going to help us. But stuck it out through the free trial, assuming I'd just stay on the free version. However, on the last day of the free trial, we started getting enough traffic, we used up the free version sessions - and I knew I had to make the decision if it was worth paying for it. I studied the data, and quickly found that Lucky Orange would more than pay for itself just through the insights gathered from watching the user experience. I had no idea certain things were happening that were frustrating for the user into quickly clicking out of the site, because they weren't happening for me. I caught the issues right from our first users, and I was instantly able to optimize my site based on real use, and even created some A/B tests I never would have thought to try. Worth it.

The app does its job well, but the €19 basic plan only supports 100~200 visitors actually per month. Beyond that, it stops recording and shows an error saying the storage is full, and you have to pay at least €20–30 more per month for additional space. What’s interesting is that support says you can’t free up disk space by deleting sections and that you still have to pay again anyway.

Each of our plans include a set number of session recordings per month with our $19 plan coming with 500 monthly sessions. As your site grows and you reach the limit of your current Lucky Orange plan, recording pauses until your plan resets on the next billing cycle. You are correct that deleting past sessions doesn't add recordings back to your current month's allowance—this is intentional. Even if you deleted sessions, they were still captured, stored, and displayed live, which is why they still count toward your session limit. If you have hit that limit, it means your site has more traffic than the basic plan accommodates, and upgrading would give you a higher monthly recording allowance that better matches your actual visitor volume. We are new to Lucky Orange so I won't speak about the service since I don't have enough working knowledge of it but I will speak on the impeccable service that I received from their support team. We were having a couple of issues with my team members account. I contacted support and they were diligent on resolving the issue while keeping in constant communication until the issues were resolved. Good support is hard to come by these days but Lucky Orange's support team is great!
