"Built for Shopify", pricing says "Free" on Shopify App Store page - but it's not free. $24 a month if you plan on paying out more than $1,000. Shopify should really require the pricing on the store page, not hidden on the developer's website. I don't mind people making money, just don't waste my time telling me its free only to find out its not after installing. My 3 stars is based on the developer not being open and upfront. I didn't even try the app.
No real changes to report except oversells still happening in late of 2025, with this app incorrectly +1'ing my Shopify inventory when I sell a product on Shopify. There may be a way to resolve that (for example "Shopify quantities will override Etsy quantities", but there is no website documentation to explain what that means. The video, that is 2 years old, mentions that option is only available during initial setup. Clearly that has changed, as its in the settings now, but I do not know what it means. Does it mean Etsy inventory will NEVER go down on Etsy or Shopify if a sell occurs on Etsy? I never, ever want Etsy to +1 anything, but it does way to frequently when I sell 1 item on Shopify. I have used the app because there was no real alternative as of the date of this original review. It works, slowly, and not always when you need it to - often to leading to oversells of products, which has happened several times over the last couple of years. I've sold out on either Shopify or Etsy only to have the app not function properly and not correctly deduct the final inventory to 0 on the other sale channel - Etsy or Shopify. OR, if I ZERO out Shopify inventory manually, the app will often add a +1 to Shopify 15 minutes later. It still sees 1 on Etsy and thinks - "Ok, let me +1 to Shopify." Not awesome. This causes an oversell of the product, which exactly what I'm paying to prevent. It happens too frequently to keep track, as recently as late August 2025. I would have a sale on Shopify (-1) only to have Etsy app (+1) Shopify for no reason. The app has lead to multiple oversells on at least 5 different products in the past week. :| Support/Shirly had been quick to respond in the past, and they are nice, but they don't have a solution as you can see by their response below.

I need a FLOW that can tag MULTIPLE open/unfulfilled/partially fulfilled/not cancelled orders by the same customer - basically multiple un-shipped orders so I can easily ID them. Shopify AI and ChatGPT have not been able to successfully suggest a method. Seems absolutely ridiculous this isn't a template - TO SAVE SELLER AND BUYER MONEY!
Developer reply ·
There are a few templates pretty close to that. This one holds fulfillment if the customer has more than 1 order open https://shopify.com/admin/apps/flow/editor/templates/178e69ed-6bfe-4fc8-8cb8-817fc28f81da
There no option to manually remove the 'persistent_cart' auto-tag of every order that utilized it. There should always be these type of options for the end-user to do it themselves. Contacted developer, and they removed the auto-tag. Thanks!
Developer reply ·
Thank you so much for your review! We really appreciate you taking the time to share this. I’m sorry we don’t yet offer a manual way to remove the persistent-cart tag, but I’ve passed your suggestion along to our development team for consideration. In the meantime, if there’s anything else we can help with, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Thanks again!
Good, but need to be able to quickly select recommendations. It would make life so much easier just to view the recommendations, then add the ones you want by simply clicking the product icon to add. EDIT: Bulk edit feature is incredibly helpful!
Very good app, but what would make it perfect is if... if there is a 10%, 25%, 50%, etc group of badge/labels, there needs to be matching 5%, 15%, 20%, 30%, etc (you get the point) - basically ever 5 step percentage should be matching. For my BFCM sale, I had 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%, and 30% discounts, but there was not one single "family library" of the same/similar icons that had all these percentages (I think maybe the super generic ones had them all). Anyway, having mismatched icons didn't look overly professional IMO. Yes, I could make my own, or find my own.. but that's why I'm paying for an app - to not do that. Another strange occurrence happened. When I used a bulk-price app to change my prices, BSS recognized those when I used the percentage rules in BSS. But, when I changed the price manually, and changed the compared to price manually (discounting by 30%) the BSS 30% rule didn't pick those 2 products up as being discounted by 30%. Not sure what that was all about. Anyway, very very good app. I just would want to see a complete family libraries of 5% through 100% off (ever 5th percentage step), and matching "SALE," 'Buy X, Get X," "Flash Sale!" icons that could be used to match the 5%-100% icons. Make true families of icons.

Zero issues with the app. Works great, but we offer free POS PDFs for digital download - not selling digital products, so your milage may vary. See for yourself. https://paintedheirloom.com/products/fusion-mineral-paint-digital-downloads
8/13/2022: Almost 2 weeks ago, the app stopped rewarding my customers for reviews. Growave seems to be at a loss of how to fix. Rewarding points for a review is a huge part of the app - and it's not working. Looking for an alternative. This app is nailing it on every level. Installation was simple and straight forward. What tweaking I needed, that wasn't available in the large options of settings already, was promptly attended to by the Growave support staff. As a small business owner selling rather niche home decor products, I was hesitant to spend this kind of money on an App. It is my opinion, a lot of apps are just too overpriced for the small business owner. I understand that developers deserved to get paid for their work, but some pricing structures are just impossible to meet for a small owner to handle. After giving this app a trial for about 2 weeks now, I can honestly say I believe it will be worth the money. While I've only had a few people leave reviews under the Growave app, more and more are using my new Loyalty Program and Wishlist. The interface is extremely professional looking, and works great from computer, iPad Shopify and Android Phone Shopify apps. The various apps within this app are each individually customizable, with very detailed settings available within each app. That said, all very easy to use. I can't stress enough how responsive and supportive the support staff has been. Tursunai has been great. Any tweaks I've needed to my theme to accommodate the app they have made while I was sleeping - since their on the other side of planet from me. :) They've been very patient with my requests but very responsive, supportive, and accommodating! I do wish some of the settings explanations were a bit easier to understand. For example, in the Wishlist Reminder Email settings, one setting is "We send this email only one-time within to the same user." I don't understand the adjective "same" in this reference. Same as what? I do understand this is due to different cultures and possible language differences. :) Second, and not that important, I wish the floating rewards tab was dismissable, yet accessible via a click of something or a menu - at least on mobile devices. Too many floating things can seem intrusive and distracting on smaller screens. Along with that, would be nice to have ability to shorten rewards name for mobile screens. For example, "Painted Heirloom Rewards" for Computer and iPad, and just "Rewards" if viewed on Mobile. That said, wish had option in settings to show or not show notifications pop-up on mobile vs. tablet vs. desktop computer. Finally, I hope to see more options in general to changes settings of various apps behaviors, colors for everything, etc. But, bottom line is, this is a great app at a fair price. Period. I can't say I would stick with it if it ever increases in cost, as I currently don't use 2 of the 7 functions, and not sure I ever will (Comments and Questions), as I'm trying to keep it clean. Also, I don't bring in a lot of money. I'm hoping that's where this app will help - obviously. I say if you're on the fence, give the trial a go for 30 days. See how your customers respond and how Growave helps to support your setup, and make your decision from there. For me, this 7-in-1 app is pretty much what I've been looking for, and the support staff, especially Tursunai, has been absolutely wonderful and top-notch! I can't say enough good things about the support from Growave! Vonda @ The Painted Heirloom
Works great! I haven't used it in a while, but last time I did, a couple of customers claimed they click the box but could not progress to checkout. Others have no issues. I'll be using it for the next 9 days, so we'll see how it goes.
Great app, great support! Looking forward to additional features. I do wish the blog article names could be longer (like Shopify) and wish I could add a cover image to my blog article from within the app, but I can always do that within Shopify.
I do wish they'd add UPS rates. For those claiming it's the same as retail rates, they're not using cubic sized boxes. Normal USPS and UPS rates are Weight+Distance. Cubic USPS is Size+Distance. The smaller box you ship, the cheaper it is. For me to ship 1 LB or 20 LBs from FL to CA in a Tier 1 box is $9.52. 1 LB to 20 LBs in a Box 4 is $10.31. Yes, higher plans of Shopify now offer cubic rates, but sadly those rates aren't passed onto customers. USPS 1096L = Tier 1 Cubic. USPS 1/2 Shoebox (cut in half) = Tier 1 Cubic. USPS Box 4 = Tier 2 USPS 1097 & 1092 = Tier 3 USPS 1095 & USPS Shoe Box = Tier 4 2 USPS Box 4 Taped Together = Tier 4 12x12x4 Box = Tier 4 12x12x6 Box = Tier 5 13x13x5 Box = Tier 5 Use these sized boxes (or there abouts), enter dimensions, and SAVE money. Bottom Line - pack your items into the smallest boxes you can find, and use Pirate Ship. Funny story, I only discovered today there is a Tier 5 - even tho Pirate Ship clearly indicates there is one. lol It's just the USPS doesn't have their own Tier 5 box. I had to fill a 12x12x6 box, ran it through Pirate Ship, and it came up Cubic. I looked at the chart - duh, yeah, there is a Tier 5. Anyway, Tier 5 Cubic for me was $13.96; UPS would have been $14+; Regional Box B was $16+; regular Priority was close $24+. So, for this single order, saved $1+ today using Pirate Ship USPS Cubic rates vice UPS Ground, and the customer will get it a few days earlier. FYI, a USPS Box 7 is TOO big Cubic, but can be cut down from it's original 12x12x8 to make into 12x12x6 - which WOULD be .5 Cubic :) Grab a power box cutter off Amazon and start saving money! :) I am also using Bespoke Shopify App tailored and configured for me to pull in Cubic Rates to display to my customers. I'm passing the savings on to them. Min from Bespoke has AWESOME customer service! I would agree, having to transfer some date, go through multiple screens, etc, can be rather convoluted. --Original Review This app is a game changer, really! I thought USPS Priority Regional Rates were cheap - wow on the USPS Priority Cubic Rates - JUST WOW! I should have installed this app from Day 1 - seriously. Where this app will save you money is using USPS *CUBIC* Priority vs. "regular" USPS Priority. We sell small pint size jars of paint. They're small, and heavy. But, I can fit 3 into a USPS Priority Box 4, that weigh 4 lbs, 12 oz, and ship from Florida to Washington State for $8.92 via USPS Priority Cubic. The same shipment would be $11.20 in the smallest USPS Regional Rate Priority Box, $12.80 in USPS Medium Flat Rate Box (FYI, 3 pints of paint won't fit into a Medium Flat Rate Box) or $20.40 regular USPS Priority! $20.40 for REGULAR PRIORITY! That's an $11 savings. For example - just jammed (actually fits in nicely) 4+ LBS of products into a 1092 bound from Pensacola FL to Arizona. USPS Priority was $17+. UPS was $18+. USPS Cubic Priority was $10.78! That saved us $7 for just that one shipment, and it will get there same time as regular USPS Priority. As I said above, where this app will save you money is using USPS *CUBIC* Priority vs. "regular" USPS Priority. We set up all regular USPS Priority Boxes that are allowed to be used with Cubic shipping in the app. Now, we just use a "saved box", select modify when generating a label so we can accurately weigh it. Not that it matters to me or cost what weight is, as cubic shipping is based on size, not weight (although there is a max weight limit, but good luck trying to hit that in the smaller USPS boxes). Just try it out - it's FREE!! Is there ANY way to have my customers view all the rates available? Shopify is SOOOOOO frustrating!! The ONLY reason I would possible give it 4 stars is because I want to pass the savings onto my customers. I do not wish to make one single penny off of shipping. If we can show and offer these rates to our customers, that would be amazing. Everyone would win. No need for the Post Office to get any more money than they need! You need to team up with Bespoke Shipping! They're smart and together you two could dominate shipping. Seriously.
1/30/2021 Update. While I understand the app does some pretty extensive stuff, it doesn't appear to do syncing inventory quantities well. I sell on Shopify and Etsy - that's it. Today, one sale of a single product reduced my Shopify inventory by 2. UNSAT. It could be a setting I have somewhere. No idea. I've been waiting to hear back from the Developer for several days. I just want it to sync inventories. That's it. SKUs match, should be as simple as that. Original Review. Eh.. was hoping to be able to set a different, yet specific price in Etsy vs. my Shopify prices - specifically, EXACTLY 10% above my Shopify prices. For some reason, the developers thought it would be a good idea to force rounding to the nearest .99? Why not give the user the option? When there's competition, and you want to be the lowest price, and people sort by lowest price, it all matters. The rounding to the nearest .99 cents would be a great option, and I certainly see the value in it, truly, but it should be just that - an option. :)

Hi! As for your suggestion, you can now turn on/off the automatic price rounding. For all users: Nembol enables you to set price rules to automatically increase or decrease prices for each channel. You can change prices through a % or a fixed amount.
Great app, exactly what I was looking for. It would be great if it did better at splitting over 2 pages. Often text will be missing at top of page 2. Or, somehow could figure out if 2 page printing for printing multiple invoices at once. This would help when batch printing multiple invoices.
I sold out on a product JUNE 2. A customer signed up to be notified when back in stock. This app send an email on JUNE 7 and again JUNE 9 to tell the customer the item was back in stock. PROBLEM was, I never increased inventory above 0 since it sold out JUNE 2. Not sure this app is even worth the $5. I may never get that customer back.
So far so good, but I spent 30 minutes customizing colors, checking out options, etc. Saving along the way, and now, it's reverted to a previous save condition? Odd. EDIT: Looks like Carlos changed my settings without seeking my permission. Not sure how I feel about that, or why it was necessary. Turns out, my wife likes Carlos' choices better. Anyway, that said, I'm not sure it will work for me in the long run. About to offer USPS Priority CUBIC rates directly to my customers, and I'm thinking this app won't pull in those rates. EDIT: It does display my USPS Cubic Rates which are being pulled by my Bespoke app which I also pay for. You CAN add your own code to some up with something similar, but anytime a product is added, the customer would have to enter their zip code again. This is nice, just not sure it's worth the $7 in the long run. I'll give it another month and see if sales pick up.
Great Shopify app to add tabs quickly, effectively, and best of all - FREE! Thanks! I don't mind paying for apps, just not one with recurring monthly fees. Thanks, again, for making it FREE! And thanks for your EXCELLENT customer support and assistance configuring the tabs! -Brad
Not sure how this is any different than Shopify's Discount program. It looked identacle to Shopify's discount options.
Great app, even better developers! We use the Minimal Theme, and like it for it's simplicity. I added Tabs to my products, and put the review code in there, but it was creating a lot of white space. I sent a ticket to the developers, gave them permissions to only edit the theme, and bammo, a couple of hours later, they have it looking awesome! Woot Woot! Thanks! paintedheirloom.com
