So far so good. Works fine! Great support if you need something.
We’ve been using Fera for a while now across multiple stores, and unfortunately our overall experience has been disappointing. Positives: The long trial period is definitely a plus. Frontend layout, emails, and widgets are beautifully designed and look very professional at first glance. Negatives: Performance & usability The app feels slow and sluggish in daily use — pages take a long time to load, and there are constant annoying popups. While feedback is acknowledged by support, it rarely translates into actual improvements. Persistent overlay issue. Across all our stores, an overlay repeatedly pops up suggesting a language change. It appears on almost every page and must be closed manually each time. Support has been aware of this for a long time, but the only workaround offered is to use Fera outside Shopify via their own website — completely impractical when managing multiple stores. Translations are a nightmare Managing translations is extremely cumbersome: They’re spread across ~15 separate pages. Every save sends you back to page 1. You can’t jump directly to a specific page (e.g., page 8) — you must click through arrows, with only four pages visible at once. Keyword search only works in English. There is no CSV import/export option. Even worse: if you do request a CSV export, it’s done manually by a Fera employee. This takes hours, and you’re asked why you need the export. That’s none of anyone’s business and feels extremely old-school. Review management limitations Approving and especially deleting reviews is far too restrictive. You can’t simply remove a review without notifying the customer. While this may be related to Google guidelines, as a store owner you should always retain full control. Sometimes reviews are simply false or malicious, and there should be a fast, frictionless way to delete them. Major workflow issues New products created by duplicating an existing product automatically receive a 1-star rating. Removing this requires repeated support requests. Fera’s own workaround is essentially to write reviews yourself. Creating product groups is unnecessarily complicated and only possible via tags or titles — not via SKU. This might work for small shops, but it’s completely unsuitable for larger operations. Because of all this, we’re now actively in the process of replacing Fera with another solution. Conclusion Fera looks great at first and has real potential in terms of design. But in daily operations — especially for larger businesses or multiple stores — it becomes a frustrating time sink. Slow performance, poor usability, restrictive review controls, outdated CSV handling, and unresolved long-standing issues make it hard to justify continued use. Recommendation: I would not recommend this app. It may feel promising initially, but in real-world, day-to-day usage it quickly turns into a challenge rather than a help. (Most of these issues were already reported to Fera 6–12 months ago, yet nothing has been improved since then.)
We wanted to test importing a CSV file from an FTP server. During setup, we selected FTP as the source—boom, requires a premium subscription (€10/month). Fine, we activated it. Then we added the source—boom again, it's a custom CSV, so now it's €20/month. No trial period, no chance to test before paying. This kind of pricing model feels deceptive and frustrating. If you're considering this app, be prepared to pay just to see if it even works for your needs. Not recommended.

We're truly sorry for any frustration this caused and appreciate your honest feedback. Our pricing and features are listed on our Shopify product page and the plans section of the app, but we understand you might have missed it or it was unclear to you. We'd love the opportunity to make things right and help in any way we can. Could you please reach out to our support team at https://www.webtoffee.com/contact/. We're happy to discuss this further. Your feedback is valuable to us, and we appreciate the chance to improve.
I think it's a great idea and after testing it I have to say that I'm thrilled with how easy it works. It's fun to negotiate the prices. The backend is very self-explanatory. What I don't like. We would have liked to try it out once, start a campaign to see how it is received. Our customers are from Germany, so we wanted a German translation, but of course we also wanted to adapt the style of the button. The surprise: it's not possible. In fact, it is only possible if you sign a one-year contract, i.e. a minimum of 6000 USD + 2%. That is an absurdity. With this sentence the conversation with the support was over. Further inquiries remained unanswered. Even the "Whitelabel" solution is only available in the Enterprise plan. So even with 499 USD + 2% sales fee you have to leave the advertising for it. Conclusion: Cool tool, bad pricing policy, inflexible support. But as always, someone will come along who does exactly the same thing only better :-) Thank you for your balanced review and for including postive feedback as well as your concerns. Apologies if it wasn't clear in our support conversation over the weekend, our pricing is a 2% commission on completed sales and the $499 is a minimum monthly spend, not $499 a month+2%. As we are a small team we cannot do substantial customisation work, including new languages, without a 12 month commitment. This is why its only available on the enterprise plan and this is why we don't advertise this on the Shopify listing. We are adding languages and features all the time and hope to be able to offer German with a much shorter commitment by the end of this year. We will let you know when this is possible in case you would like to reconsider.
U can´t install and using the app on your own. You will be redirected to a login page but there is no option to register an account on that page. So u have to search the website on google, than click on "Start trial" but instead of creating an account you have to do a conference appointment. WTF :) Uninstalled, done. Update: The bug ist still not fixed as mentioned. At least with Safari the installation-process still ends up on a login page. But with chrome we did not have any problems. Anyway, getting E-Mails from the developer about deleting this "bad" review because we are not using the app anymore is inappropriate. After a second try with chrome. The results are inaccurate. It shows not your products, it shows similar products on marketplaces which is nice but not really helpful for setting up a price strategy. And before setting up a strategy u have to do a call with the developer.
