Really great app! It has a lot of useful functions and really helpful insights. The instruction videos are also fantastic to help the user understand how to combine reports to unlock deeper knowledge about consumer behavior and opportunities for growth. It was easy to install. We've tried some different CLV related apps in the past and this one works the best. Especially for a small business, the pricing for this app is really great and fair, so we definitely recommend this app! The customer service is also friendly and super fast. The only thing we're missing (and for which we removed a star) that we've seen in other apps, is better historical data. It takes a while to build up useful data, especially when creating segments, and that is something we haven't found a good work-around for yet. Hoping that functionality will be improved as RetentionX continues to grow - but even without it, really happy we found this app!

Thank you for your thoughtful review! While you can view and analyze historical data throughout the platform, we currently do not offer retroactive LTV trends for segments, as we do not recreate the history of customer segment affiliations. Other tools may show historical LTV based on today's segment affiliation, which we believe would be incorrect since other customers were part of the segment in the past. We appreciate your feedback and we'll be sure to consider it for future updates.
We had been dealing with the unfortunately complicated conversion between Shopify and Recharge. We really didn't want to change anything, but we basically had no choice but to convert. Already the recent price increases makes Recharge inaccessible for small businesses, but it was like we had no choice. Dealing with Recharge support was super confusing, as they were talking to us like we were developers (when that's really not the case and we asked them to explain things in plain English/layman's terms). It sounded like it would be super easy, but in reality, it wasn't. When we ran into troubles and our website stopped working properly, Recharge luckily referred us to Nick at e-shop Genius. This 5-star review is only for Nick and his work. He helped us fix the website super quickly and got everything back on track seamlessly. He is responsive, expeditious, and friendly. We couldn't have done it without him!

Nice in theory, but didn't end up working well. We noticed a ton of orders triggered the bundle discount to the customer, but at check out the customer didn't actually receive the discount as advertised. We ended up having to do manual refunds. When contacting the tech support, they were unhelpful and claimed the app worked perfectly.
Nice in theory, but it works inconsistently. For our Black Friday offer (free gift for a specific order threshold), it granted free gifts to orders that didn't at all meet the set order threshold. Don't recommend this app, I'm sure there are much better options out there that work properly.
