Had a few issues at first but they fixed it. There's been a lot of bot traffic to many Shopify stores now apparently. After I installed this app, my website got a lot of bot traffic from around the world (not the US where I'm based). App said I used up 500 carts for my plan within only a day or two of installing. But it only showed 53 carts total in my dashboard so far... Then it jumped to over 500 carts later. The support for this app was great, they credited me and the dashboard is working much better now.
App didn't work for my shop but I managed to get a refund.
Great app, works well so far in testing on my store site. Simple and easy to use.

Shows links to this company's page in the menu on my website unexpectedly. Did not do that when I first installed it. Not cool.
Claimed to be free when I installed it but now charges for usage and they can charge you anything they want every month. Forces you to accept this instead of being allowed to start with a free plan, they make you accept the paid plan and then have to cancel it.

Hi there, The popup you’re seeing in the app is for a 30-day Free Trial of our Growth plan. You can downgrade to the Free plan at any time during the 30 day free trial and you won’t be charged at all. We introduced pricing in May 2025 to help cover the growing costs of maintaining the app across tens of thousands of stores. The app had previously been completely free since 2021. Please note: usage based pricing applies to large stores with lots of traffic. Most stores fall within the $29/mo plan. We also offer significant discounts since we understand each store is unique. Pricing is really predatory, it increases waaay above what they initially show and they automatically charge you more. When installed, it created a bunch of fake accounts which were just Google Bot "subscribers" with fake emails and now charges me at a much higher price tier just because it considers those somehow to be real people and counts them toward my total. Pretty ridiculous. They don't prorate nor will they allow any free trial or test of their email system. Templates for emails weren't very good and were difficult to use.

Really great so far, setup was pretty easy for me. Still testing it out but looks nice for what I wanted to do.

This app has cost me thousands of dollars. It rewards people on top of any existing discounts in my store and there are no rules or ways to prevent it stacking. I am losing money all the time due to this. Not happy. The aesthetics are nice but they clearly don't understand retail business and how customers behave.

Smile coupons are not able to be combined. Unfortunately, some 3rd party apps conflict with Smile and can cause unexpected behavior, such as allowing discounts to stack.
