We've used the Okendo Reviews since 2019. This review applies to their Reviews functionality as we have not used Loyalty or Referrals. Okendo Reviews, when it first came out, was a genuinely exciting and innovative app. It had more features than many of its competitors and much better pricing than the market leader. Up until a couple of years ago, I would have comfortably given Okendo 5 stars. This is no longer the case. They are increasingly focused on Loyalty and Referrals, and their Reviews side of the application has become somewhat outdated. It has received very few updates for a few years now, resulting in it becoming less full-featured than many of its competitors despite retaining the premium price point in the market. Specifically: - Its Review grouping feature is clunky, slow and poorly designed. It can't be automated by tag or metafield like other rival apps, and the syncing process can take over 24 hours, which is insane in 2025. For large stores with a lot of variants, this can become a major headache over time. - The internal search in the admin portal does not work. It only returns results alphabetically rather than by relevance. This means in a store with a lot of reviews, finding, moving, and tagging reviews is a painfully slow process. The fact that this has been left like this and never been updated/fixed is illustrative of their lack of attention to the Reviews side of their business. - Store reviews are very much treated as an afterthought and not particularly well executed compared to competing apps. They are clunky to manage within the portal, and Okendo's widgets do not display them particularly well. - AI Review summary. They have been late to market on this and have made it an additional paid feature, whereas most of their competitors have included it in the main offering. Considering the lack of updates in the last few years it's a pretty bad look for the first one to be late and a paid extra. I get no pleasure in writing this review, but I think it's important for other store owners to understand that Okendo reviews is not the go-to premium review app anymore and that things have moved on since a few years ago. If I were starting a new store, I certainly wouldn't have them at the top of the list of considerations. It works, but it's hardly the best, and it's starting to look tired and expensive for what it is.

JsRates is a hidden gem. We have tried and tested so many shipping apps over the years and JsRates is by far the most flexible and powerful. We use a blend of shipping carriers that have different cut off times and delivery schedules (they only deliver to a certain postcode once per week for example) and using JsRates we able to deploy shipping estimates at checkout that are accurate and dynamic. Until I discovered the app I assumed it was an unsolvable problem on shopify checkout. It takes some persistence to get it working but Behailu is extremely responsive and generous with his time and we are stoked with the result. Highly recommended.

Shopify has very basic and infexible collection sorting rules so to overcome this limitation we used to use 3rd party software power to render collections and site search on our website. This was expensive and always felt needlessly complex. It also added unnessariy load time to collection pages and was just another thing that could break. When I discovered BestSellers ReSort I realised we could combine it with Shopify's new native Search & Discover App and achieve 80% of what the fancy enterprise software does at a fraction of the cost. And it was all using native shopify so it was faster and much more intuitive for my team to use. This App is an absolute game changer and I highly reccomend it.

We've signed up to the Max Unlimited Plan and it's been one of the more frustrating and maddening experiences I've ever had with a new piece of software. They advertise a range of features but buyer beware, only some of these features are actually functional or reliable. What works: - Auto Sync Shopify Orders and customers to NetSuite * - Auto Sync NetSuite Item Inventory to Shopify - Auto Sync NetSuite Item fulfillments to Shopify - Sync Price from NetSuite to Shopify - Sync Shopify Order Edits to NetSuite** What doesn't work (but is advertised) - List Product from NetSuite to Shopify: The main added feature of their Max Unlimited plan is so buggy and incomprensible that I do not think they should be selling it as a finished feature. Even more concerning they don't seem to have any explanation or understanding of why it doesn't work. Endless zoom calls and promises of a fix just around the corner amounted to nothing. Most alarmingly the sync has no auditing or process visibility at all. It's black box so it can be updating your catalogue and you don't even know when it is updating or what is updating or what it has updated. In an effort to try and get this sync to work we left it on overnight and rather than list any new products it wiped the content from 16747 products! We we're extremely lucky to have a backup handy to reverse what it did. - * Auto Sync Shopify Orders Paid for by Gift Cards. The app is unable to sync orders when customers use gift cards as the payment method. We raised a few tickets but they where never able to fix it so we ended up having to manually import orders paid for by gift cards. - ** Order Edits in Shopify will close the original Netsuite sales order, delete the customer deposit and create a new deposit. This means if a customer makes a $100 order on Monday, edits the order for an additonal $50 on Tuesdsay (making it a $150) the app will just create a new order with a single $150 deposit on Tuesday, despite their actually being two deposits on two different days. If you edit a lot of orders this creates a lot of manual fixing up for end of months accounts and is a poorly designed feature. So in short I do not recommend Robust Netsuite Intregator unless you have a very simple setup and a lot of patience. It's cheaper than alternatives but is buggy, incomplete software and their support team sends a lot of emails but provides very few solutions.

Very useful app. Combined with Shopify's automatic discounts it makes it incredibly easy to setup high converting flash sales. Support is excellent as well. Definitely recommended.

I really really wanted this app to work as described. Looks great on paper. We used this app for about 5 months. Unfortunately, Its buggy and an unreliable and I do not recommend it. Moreover, it has a large limitation which Zapiet do not mention up front. Because of the way it works, it does not easily allow the user to switch shipping methods after they proceeded to checkout. Shopify caches the method and the user is stuck with that shipping method until the cache resets. We were extremely patient with the Zapiet team to fix and address these issues but they just gave us an endless runaround. Very disappointed.

Hi guys, Thanks so much for your review. It's been over a year since we last spoke and I wanted to let you know that our Rates features are now more powerful and stable than ever. As well as the huge improvements we've made at Zapiet, Shopify has also done a huge amount of work their end to reduce the rate caching period. I'd love you to give us another go so you can see the improvements we've made. I have reset your 14-day free trial in preparation :) Thanks, Andy
