Detected I'm on a Shopify basic plan. To start a subscription but then immediately says no CCS detected which is needed for the actual application and only available on a growth plan, pretty deceptive.

Thank you for your feedback, and we sincerely apologize for this frustrating experience. You are right - we discovered a bug where the app prompts for a subscription before fully verifying your CCS status. We are actively fixing this right now to ensure the flow is transparent. While we do include a disclaimer on our App Store listing stating: "NOTE: THIS APP REQUIRES CARRIER-CALCULATED SHIPPING (CCS) FOR PROPER FUNCTIONING", we completely understand that this note can be easily missed during installation. utterly useless, you can add a single price toa single postcode?? What about different rates for weight etc. Also there approximately 2,644 unique geographic postal areas across Australia. LMFAO
The app doesn't work unless you are on a Growth package with Shopify. In fact, a waste of time if you are on a basic plan. pretty annoying that it says it can target postcodes but doesn't.

Hey TotalDoggo 👋 Just saw this and honestly, fair frustration. You're right that Shopify locks some of the features we rely on behind their higher plans, and if that wasn't obvious before you installed, that's on us for not flagging it clearly enough up front. I'm sorry you lost time on it 😔 I'm the founder, we're a small team, and reviews like this are genuinely useful even when they sting a bit, so thank you for spelling out what went wrong. If you're open to it, please send me an email and I'll personally look at your setup. Depending on what you're trying to do with postcode targeting there may be a way to get you there on your current plan, and if there truly isn't, I'll tell you straight instead of wasting more of your time. Either way I'd rather you leave with a clear answer than a bad taste 🙂 Hope to hear from you!
