NA Age Verification

The app does what it says it does, and it does it flawlessly. It is pretty straightforward and easy to use. I would recommend it to anyone, especially for people who need customization for non-english languages.

I am using NA Age Verification on 3 of my winery sites and they just work great all the time. It is easy to set up, easy to use, and very low maintenance. The support has been awesome as well. The one issue I have had the last few years was actually because of the code on our site and Chris quickly took a look, found the issue, and put in a fix for us. I would highly recommend them and will definitely use them again.

The app works well, and the support team was excellent. I needed help customizing the age verification flow on my Shopify site so that visitors who select “No” are redirected instead of being stuck on the popup. Their team helped get that set up, and it made the experience much cleaner. Really appreciate the quick support and the willingness to help with a specific setup. Great app for anyone who needs age verification on their store.

Great app - super easy to set up and navigate. Compliance in just a few clicks. Highly Recommend!

Simple to configure and does what it’s supposed to do. Chris is also very nice. Thank you!

Chris is lovely and developed an amazing app, it's super useful and works without any issues. Thank you!

Super simple to use and does the job you need it to

The quickest and easiest age verification solution. I even e-mailed Chris at Northern Apps about a specific feature for my store and he incorporated it on the spot for me.

Easy and smooth for my website.

This is hands down the best app out there right now! It works flawlessly, adds amazing value, and makes my website look ultra professional. The customer service is top-notch — truly some of the best I’ve ever experienced. I highly recommend this app to anyone! It gives my customers peace of mind in the safest way possible with tons of helpful options. A++

We needed to implement age verification for one of our product pages and this app came to save the day. We implemented it in less than 10min and it works flawlessly. So much more convenient (fast and full of options) and affordable than hiring a developer to code something for us.

Chris helped me install the app when we were having coding issues, very helpful and super fast response time Thanks heaps

Great! Easy to set up and hassle free. Thank you so much!

This is an awesome, all in one option for Age Verification on your Shopify Store! Chris was a massive help in assisting us with all of our needs; he even went as far as increasing the File Upload size for ID Photos when our Customers ran into some upload discrepancies. We would definitely recommend this app to businesses of all kinds / sizes especially with Chris being so proactive, quick, & attentive to his Clients needs. Thanks again, Chris!

Easy to set up. Little hassle for our shop visitors.

Facile à utiliser et personnaliser. Le support de Northern Apps m'a même accompagné pour la version étrangère de la pop-up de mon site. Je recommande !

Chris & his team at NA are amazing. they went above and beyond to ensure that their app was seamlessly integrated in our website. Highly recommend!

Easy and fast :)

Worked exactly like we wanted it to for when we needed it.

Easy to use! I enjoy it. I wanted to do what I had to do to make sure 18+ were coming to my website. NA Age Verification does that.

Great app and works as described. Had an easy time setting it up and managing it was a breeze. Recommend for anyone looking for an age verification app that is both easy to use and sufficient.

Great app, look no further. The entrance options are easy and has lots of other features a store owner needs. I would recommend everyone use this. We have for the past 5 years without any issues. Thanks Norther Apps for building a smooth app!

DO NOT INSTALL THIS GARBAGE. IT WILL BREAK YOUR STORE. This app adds code to CART.JSON that will disable your checkout button, possibly costing you thousands in lost sales as it did for us. Even uninstalling the app did not reverse the damage. I had to go to a backup and restore the code from before its installation. The app also interferes with eComposer page builder and the theme editor. The popup will appear in your editor window and cannot be dismissed or buttons clicked. The only way to edit a page is to turn off the age check popup. Garbage. Don't install. Pay for a quality app. This comment is not true. The app does not add code to a theme's cart.json file. It is not possible for the app to do this because it does not have permission from Shopify. If the app was uninstalled and the problem was not resolved, that is probably because the app was not the problem in the first place. The app also has a setting that allows you to turn it off in the theme editor, the person leaving this review must have missed that option.

Does what it says on the tin. Useful for our site.

Does not work for customers that are using apple devices, and recently has stopped working for customers using desktop with firefox. It used to meet our needs but now is costing us sales and customer frustration. We brought this issue up to the developers but no actions were taken. We will be replacing it with another app as the quality of this app is no longer what it used to be. The app does work for apple devices, and it works for firefox. The person posting this review did bring up the issue with support but I think it is dishonest to write that no action was taken. Our technician checked the store and found that another system installed on their store, Chatra, was causing NA Age Verification to not work correctly. When support told the merchant about this they left this review. So this issue only applies if you are using Chatra.

Great application! It is easy to configure and it works like a charm. Thank you to the developer

Simple and easy to use, with options to upgrade features as required. Recommended!

I used it to verify other info for my B2B as I was getting many consumer applications. Setting up this pop up feature was just what I needed for my store!

We use this app as a bot blocker. We use the checkbox to VERIFY YOU ARE HUMAN. This stops bots from coming in and wrecking our checkout. 100% blocked the bots. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Works smoothly (also with strict Danish regulations), and got great help from the developer team with adjusting minor things for it to look great on my site.

Works as expected - a kind of "fire and forget" app, which is sometimes a shame as it does exactly what we needed and gets no more attention.

Great app, easy to configure, works like a charm with lots of options for customising it.

Installed this check out age control App as we have age control restrictions in Denmark and placing the official Logo on the check out page was not enough. Installation was easy and worked immediately in Browsers but not on Mobile checkouts... I contacted Chris and he guided me on where there actually was an error on the Theme I use, and with his guidance the problem was solved in a few minutes - what an amazing service... Thank you

by far one of the best apps I've used on Shopify. easy to use edit and match your store theme. thank you Chris

Perfekt für meine Anforderungen! Super Support! Danke!

Update: We are using this app since 2022, but reinstalled it (thats why it may show here fewer days in use. We switched now to the Pro Version, which offers Checkout Checkbox for Verification, and this one will also be written as a proof into the order details, which is even more helpful. Review Text from 2022: The app does well in our shop. You can also use it with language versions in "Langify" if you set global custom translations in langify. We also had a conflict with our "GDPR Cookie Banner" app. The solution was to add the "__age_checker-history" cookie as essential in the Cookie app. (some users would have to delete their browser cache to make it work asap) Both times Chris as developer of this app was very helpful and answered quickly.

Just bloody good, literally no complaints. Not sure how I'm going to get to 100 chars, but I'll try..

This is a great app. Works perfectly, is simple to use, and the pop-up looks modern and clean. Thank you!

Easy to use and great service from the team behind this app. Covers all requirements for age verification.

Excellent app and top-rate customer support. We tried a number of age verification apps and this one was the best by far. Highly recommend.

Initially was working great, but after some time caused our site to not load unless scrolled. Very strange but was fixed as soon as the pop was turned off :( Edit: The owner, Chris, reached out after seeing the issues we were having and helped us solve the issue. Really happy now and would highly recommend the app.

This application is very simple to set up, can be easily customized without code and is very efficient. Following a theme updating, there was a small bug... An email to Chris and everything works again in less than 10 minutes !

Incredible fast support. After a theme update we needed some help with the plugin. Within shortest time we have had the solution. Thank you very much.

Been using for a month now....Very easy to use, and great support from the guy who created it. Highly recommended.

It does absolutely everything we need, and was very easy to set up! I know that our distillery's website is compliant with the applicable age-gating laws and I didn't have to write any code or hire an expert.

Very happy with this one! Installation and process works smooth. Feedback from Chris (developer) was instantly.

Excellent customer support from NA AGE Verification, Chris did amazing job within minutes, thanks again Chris

This app is very user friendly and the best part - there's no need to code, just plug and play. Great design, Thanks Northern Apps!

We've been using the free version of NA Age Verification for quite some time now. Unfortunately, after changing our cookie consent tool it collided with the age verification app and you could neither confirm your age anymore nor reject/accept cookies. After dropping Chris an email he resolved the issue within half an hour and everything works perfectly now. Highly recommended!

The app was super easy to install. I needed an age verification to sell wine and the app was exactly what I was looking for. They have a free option, but even the monthly subscriptions are affordable. I highly recommend this app. Plus they have great customer service. The developer reached out to see if I liked the app and if I had any questions.

App was very easy to install and is exactly what we needed. Will continue to use and would recommend.

Have had this app installed for over a year. It has everything we could ask for and very easy to configure. The support from their team is excellent, with very fast and helpful replies. Highly recommend.

This app does its job, great all around 10/10 would recommend Now don't read this, I am required to reach 100 words to post my review, s here we are, 100 words, cheers.

A great app, easy to set up and I think it looks great. A must for my business. I required links to be added to link to the Terms & Conditions page and it was no hassle, Chris was amazing and had this set up for me in no time. I've tried a few apps and had deleted them before installing this one.

Very intuitive to use and got prompt support for our team when we had a few questions around design and implementation.

This app is a lifesaver when it comes to age verification in order to let people enter our site. This app has a free version and that's the current plan we are using. The free version offers everything you may need to ensure you are doing your part with age verification! If you looking for a simple way to check the age of your customers this app is for you!

This app is simple to use, and the developer Chris is amazing. I asked if that app integrated with Klaviyo to add birthday as a custom property - and although it didn't within one week he set up a one click integration for the app. I've been working on Shopify stores for 4 years and have never seen that level of commitment to an app. Thank Chris!

Easy to set up and works well. Friendly and responsive developer - added a new feature within hours of us asking!

Very nice and usefull App, really easy to use. Exactly what I needed. Très bonne application, à la fois utile et facile à prendre en main. C'est exactement ce que je recherchais.

Great app, easy to integrate without any developer experience. Very pleased as it is now mandatory to have an age checker according to Dutch law.

Great support! I really like the App. It is convenient and fulfills its purpose. Thumbs up! I would install it again.

Very useful and easy to use app. Highly recommend it to anyone who needs age verification on their website.

Perfect App for age verification. We are an online wine merchant ans the app is very helpfull to check the age of the clients.

Great app! Works perfectly! Easy to work with. I recommend! Good customer service. Just good experience with Age Checker/Age Verification +

Super easy to install and use, great for a start up company. Flexible options are available which are pretty easy to set.

Great app! super easy to use! thanks for building such a great feature. Would highly recommend it for any new shopify account!

Works perfectly! Great app and looks very nice as well on the website. I would highly recommend to anyone needing this verification!

The app is easy to set up, works just as expected. We could not be more pleased with this app to help us check underage visitors.

I use this app for our E-cig website age verification, it works perfectly and the support is very responsive and patient to guide us to solve our problem

Great and simple, user friendly app. I managed tl add a llt of text and supper was great. Fast and helpful. Definitely recommended. I got help same day. I used it for gdpr and other information as well.

This is a perfect app by a great team! Excellent customization options, and Chris and the support team were majorly helpful in helping us build out for our particular needs even more. Many thanks!

If I could score 6 stars, I would. Chris and his team are exceptional. Prompt and personable service. The app was even tailored to my site’s needs. I highly recommend this app for anyone needing age verification on their site. Fantastic work Chris.

Does what it says it will do! Sleek design, easy to install & edit, fast & helpful support! Highly recommend this app!!

This app does exactly what is says and works exactly as it should. It's very easy to customise it to suit the look of your website. Furthermore, the support for this app is fantastic. Chris has been amazing in answering our many questions and supporting us in trialing some different options to find what works best for our site. I would absolutely recommend this app and would be up for trying any apps designed by this developer.

I recommend this age verification app over all the others: 1. nice out of the box design - 2. easy set up and customization - 3. fast support - 4. free plan

Chris molto efficiente nelle risposte! app veramente fatta bene, anche la parte gratuita. COnsiglio vivamente!

This is the best age verification app on Shopify. Very easy to use/customize. If you need any adjustments the developer is incredibly helpful and quick to respond.

Overall the app is great. It offers far more in its free plan than others. A couple complaints: There is no way to change the size of buttons. They appear to be to compact to text. There is a "Boarder Width" option but it appears to do nothing. There is also no way to change the warning text from dark red. So if you changed the background image it had better work with that text. Overall it is great but it would be nice to have a little customization beyond what it is doing now. All of that being said, still the best age checker I've found so far.

Selling beers and alcoholic beverages means legal age restrictions. We needed this kind of age checker to ensure visitors are allowed to buy our products. First we had the pop up. Later Chris introduced the Checkout Rules in the cart. This is an extra chance to check the customers age once again before buying. The design is great, functionality and user experience is great. Chris was extremely helpfull, and extremely quick, when I asked for help with a minor adjustment.

Fantastic app with some great new feautures on the way - this is a must have for any store with age restricted elements ! Super user friendly & easy adapt to your stores needs - easily set up in just minutes & integrates seamlessly

This app is the best one! clean and neat design, great support from Chris, it's fast without slowing down the shop. and it's 100% free without ads. Thank you so much for this wonderful app, it really helps for small business like mine, deeply appreciate!!!

Great quality app. The guy that created is is super helpful as well. Highly recommend, better than other age verification apps.

Age Checker Plus is great and easy to use! I needed help and support emailed me back right away to solve my issue.

This app is really helpful and excellent. It has many functions that work well with no issue. I appreciate it. Thanks!

Perfect app to add age verification to any page/collection/products. Easy to use and does exactly what I want

fully free app, working great, fully customize, able to edit in code. This is awesome, thank you Chris Geelhoed! You are amazing!
