UPDATE: I have had the issue rectified with a new notification rule 'toggle' feature. I appreciate that, thank you for your prompt response. __ Recent update has killed the simplicity this app had - the app now forces email notifications to customers, which I can't seem to be able to turn off. For us, the idea was to track what customers are requesting to help with demand forecasting, then segment these customers within shopify's ecosystem and carry out email marketing from there using our existing brand templates. I don't want another email marketing tool outside shopify's native app Dear Stella Charge, I’m Joey, the customer manager from the Back in Stock team. I wanted to personally follow up after reading your feedback. I completely understand what you were trying to achieve with our app — using Back in Stock to track customer demand and support your forecasting, while keeping customer segmentation and email marketing within Shopify using your existing brand templates. I’m very sorry that our recent update disrupted that workflow and caused unnecessary inconvenience for you. This was something we didn’t consider carefully enough when updating the feature, especially for merchants like you who rely on the app primarily for demand tracking rather than email marketing. I’ve already reached out to our development team and asked them to address this urgently. We’ve also restored your previous settings so that your setup can work as it did before the update. Very useful app for customers and retailers alike - it's one of those things that just works. I would like there to be a few more options when it comes to customising the email. The support team are particularly helpful and responsive.

Excellent service and support!

I installed and uninstalled at least 6 or 7 back in stock apps before settling on SW Back in Stock and I am so happy I took the time to find the right one! SW is not only the easiest to install and set up, and has the best looking buttons, widgets, and message templates, but their tech support is ASTOUNDING! I was not able to get the "Notify Me" button to show up on the collection page (this feature varies by Shopify theme) and not only did they fix it very quickly, but were able to match the font to our website, which was not an option available to the user in the settings (yet!). If you have grown accustomed to dreading the use of a help chat feature, you don't have to feel that way with CWILL. They will respond and the WILL go above and beyond to help and if you miss a chat response, you can continue the conversation via email. Great experience all around.

This app offers many features, perfect adaption to the individual themes. Even in combination with pre-order apps it works perfect. The support is incredibly fast and very helpful (special thanks to Pia). We are really happy to have found your app and can highly recommend it for other shops.

I think it is now years ago that I left a 3 star review and I see there is now the need to update this: On my request they implemented multi languages (also now a few years ago) and all the translations are managed in app. Since they did that, there was no looking back and we have used their app to 100% satisfaction for many years, no issues whatsoever. The UI (User Interface) is very clean designed, easy to navigate, so there is actually nothing to complain about (and I am good in making complains!) So thereofore I upgrade this review from 3 to 5 star. We deserved! My past review: 3 star: because the app in it selfs works good, easy to set up, quick to make it work except: they advertise that it supports multiple languages. To a degree it seems to do so, but still the button: 'Notify me when back in stock' which hides the button add to cart when out of stock, this button does not translate in all the languages I have on the site. Probably we do not use the published languages inside the admin of shopify. Support team seems to be not very knowledgeable in this field. So I advice: Use it only for 1 language then it works fine.

The app is very easy to use and offers more options than its competitors (e.g., changing button colors). It gave me exactly what I needed to notify my customers when a product is back in stock. The support team is amazing: I asked for a change, and they implemented it quickly and exactly as I wanted. Highly recommended!
