Conjured Memberships

We use Conjured for our Membership Program. Set up is relatively simple and the Customer Support team is extremely helpful and always prompt to respons. We especially enjoy working with Patricia and Maren who provide a lot of helpful support.

I've tried a couple options for memberships, this one appears to work very well, allowing you to lock products behind memberships, and manage different tiers, and price plans. The support has been super fast and responsive when any issues have arrived, very happy with this app.

This app integrates seamlessly with our Shopify store. The support offered is the best! Any issue we have experienced is resolved quickly and efficiently. We are very happy with the app and the team.

I had a question about how to allow some of my members have access to the restricted content for free, because Shopify can’t register customers with a $0 charge. Andres replied quickly to help me out and guided me on how to enable that with tips and heads-ups. I am a one-person company and these professional support meant a lot to me. The app has a bit of a learning curve but once you get use to it, I’m sure it will become second nature. I look forward to making this as my main source of income. Thanks Conjured!

I've been playing around with different membership structures and found these guys are awesome from a support point of view, and that there's very little that can't be set up with a bit of thought and knowing when to ask.. Very powerful app that allows you to get in at a minimal price point and make it super cost effective as you scale. Very impressed, well worth it! And did I mention the awesome support team? I'm in Australia and I still get a super quick response even when the auto reply says its out of hours.. cheers!

I've been using Conjured for a few years now at the service is nothing short of exceptional. The team is always quick to respond to any questions that I have. When I first started the membership program for my shop I used a series of apps and custom coding but needed something that could automate the membership and Conjured was the best app to help me to manage my membership program. Each year the app seems to get better and better.

So far, so good! I just installed this and set up all my emails in Klaviyo. I love that it integrates so well with Klaviyo. I had a couple of questions and design requests and the team went in and changed the coding within just a couple of hours of requesting. They were incredibly responsive and sent me how to screen shots to answer my questions. Their customer support is top notch!

This review has 3 parts: an original review, plus 2 updates. Original review: This app has been easy to set up, and the customer service is exceptional! Makes it all worth it! They helped me step by step and helped configure some things I didn't know how to do. Great app, excellent service! New update (March 2025): The conjured team has been working with me to sort out the issues described below. Very responsive, and very helpful! The gift membership problem is inherent to the Shopify ecosystem, unfortunately. We're trying to find workarounds, and Conjured is definitely trying to solve this problem with Shopify. They've added the feature (in beta) for exporting addresses to help circumvent the Shopify tagging system. And as for the buggy tagging, it seems that my store was an unusual case, and I think we have it sorted out for now. (fingers crossed!) 1st Update (from October 2024): After almost a year with Conjured, I've come across a fatal flaw. In order to ship the products in my membership I need an accurate count of members and to export a list of all the active members and their shipping addresses. Seems simple right? Conjured can export a list of active members and their *email* addresses. But to export *shipping* addresses, you must do it within Shopify, by creating a segment based on the automatic tagging in Conjured. Unfortunately the tagging between Conjured and Shopify is buggy. I've been trying to export an accurate list of members and addresses for the last 3 days, going back and forth with Conjured and Shopify support. I have yet to get the lists to agree, and have lost maybe 6 hours to the project. At this point, it seems the only way I'm going to get an accurate list is to check the members manually, and copy-paste addresses one-by-one for all the members who show up in Conjured but not in Shopify. WTF am I spending money on this app for if it can't accurately track members? I signed up for Conjured because I used to track my membership manually in Excel and was hoping to streamline things. LOLZ. Joke's on me. One more major flaw I've discovered: It's impossible for someone to buy a gift membership through Conjured. The membership is always connected to the person who purchased it, and their shipping address, and there is no way to update or edit an address within Conjured. Conjured support's solution for gifts? Cancel the membership and have the gift recipient just sign up themselves . . . Which kind of defeats the purpose of a gift. In fairness, Conjured support has been helpful and responsive, but the software just can't reliably do the basic thing I installed it for.

I'm still in the set-up process of my Patreon-like membership, but so far I've been able to make it work. I have paywalled digital downloads and physical products, guides (created as blog posts), exclusive discount in the shop and a membership page that feels like a website within a website, where all the benefits can be accessed. I see lots of benefits to having my subscription in the same place as the shop, to help drive shop conversions among my true fans, and to have full control over how I present the content. On Patreon I just couldn't properly highlight all my digital products, it seems much more tailored to a stream of exclusive content vs. a product subscription. It's definitely a bit of a hacky process, but Conjured team has been going out of their way to make little customizations on my site and help with the setup and the turnaround has been super fast. We'll see how things will go further once I launch, but having their support really made me feel confident to go live soon. Conjured has the best customer service I’ve ever experienced. They are always fast to respond and have their team make custom adjustments first hand.

This app basically does what we need it to do, sell annual memberships. We wish that it had an "every calendar year" choice for expiration/renewal, regardless of subscription date, which would make it easier for renewals and to retain members through the automatic renewal option. However, thanks to the great customer service by Conjured, we were able to pull down membership information, then, just delete the current membership on December 31st and create a new membership on January 1st each year. A good solution for managing membership subscriptions through Shopify. 5* technical support, helpful and quick-to-action requests. We'd prefer a little more control to manage a customer's subscription renewal date manually; hopefully, that update will come soon. 4 emails sent to customer agent to get my migration going and each and everytime, a new thing is not right on my file. They don't even have the respect to tell me everything at once, they made me loose so much time on creating 4 different CSV files and yet it's not working. What a bad experience

I would not recommend this app to any one. We have tried numerous attempts to get help from someone but they only correspond by email, which is not in a timely manner. There is no onboarding service, so you download and try to figure it out. I searched for videos and it hasnt been helpful.

I've built many websites over the years, but this is the first one with Shopify, and the first one being subscription-based-content (memberships). After a bit of research, decided on Conjured Memberships. This app is fairly easy to use, it's working really well and is very cost effective. I must say though, my favourite part of this app is the tech support. I have been blown away with how responsive they are. You'd hardly know they're in the US and I'm in Australia as the response time is almost immediate. The support team know their app back-the-front and inside-out, have always been friendly and very helpful. Some days I'm emailing every hour and they haven't skipped a beat and are still as friendly and helpful as ever. Very happy with Conjured Memberships and would definitely recommend. Conjure is a great tool for my businesses two tiered membership program that allows custom perks, like free gifts discounts etc. I really love the member only pages. The customer service is unparalleled. Honestly. They took my custom dashboard design and completed it in less than 48 hours to perfection. I'm not one to leave reviews either but I highly recommend!

Everything is working as planned. Had a few things we needed help on and got help quickly. Overall easy to understand and good communication from Conjured.

Plus, with a few workarounds to personalize to my specific club tiers, it's fantastic. I recommend the app or team 100%. If you are looking for standard memberships, integrated with Shopify and email like Klaviyo, etc. This is your best decision.

There are multiple membership apps but this one is the best by far! Their customer support is very friendly and responsive, they designed my website subscription dashboard for free. And when I asked about a feature a couple months back, they've added it after a small period of time. Just AMAZING! After thorough review of all the service providers who offer membership program capabilities, we felt that Conjured Membership offered the best and simplest solution for us to offer a membership program, without a heavy investment and technical expertise. Conjured also had some amazing reviews by existing customers and also offered support for onboarding. We also like Conjured's seamless integration with our store theme, which allows our customers to have a seamless user experience. Most of the other programs we looked at didn't offer the perks capabilities, and for the ones that did, the monthly cost was hefty.

I am using Conjured to create a membership and after lots of research and comparing options, I found Conjured to be the best at offering what I needed. What stands out about Conjured is the customer service and technical support. The support is the best I have experienced, the team bend over backwards to help with set up and response times to questions are amazingly quick and thorough. The best support I have EVER received from a support team! We have quite a lot of customisation required for our members area and the team at Conjured went above and beyond to make sure that everything was working as we wanted it to. Even though we have an Aus/USA time different issue they were super responsive and had always taken action before responding so as not to keep going back and forth for no reason. We have gated content and use the app as a dedicated members only area for content and community so it's a bit more than what the standard usage would be. They made it all work for us! I definitely recommend using their app for any member areas!

This is a great app, with stellar customer service! The app was more or less a plug and play solution for our store, with a lot of features that have allowed us to set up a fairly complex membership model. Their team went back and forth with me dozens of times to customize the design of our membership dashboard and our My Account page, so that it matches the rest of our site theme, and to troubleshoot minor issues I was having. Simply AMAZING! Nick, Char & the whole support team over at Conjured have been one of the most helpful & responsive teams I've ever had the pleasure to deal with. They helped us move over hundreds of our members from BOLD Memberships (Please avoid BOLD at all costs, I think most of my grey hairs came from this app). I have never said this before but if I could give an app 6 stars I certainly would for Conjured Memberships. First the app works flawlessly for what it is designed to do. I made 2 false starts with membership programs that were riddled with bugs and empty promises. Then I found Conjured. The app is very well thought out, it works great with many features but the support is what puts them on a new level. In the beginning I had many customizations I needed help with and they always answered my questions quickly often times they did the customization for me within a few hours. If you are looking for a membership program I cannot recommend Conjured highly enough!

The customer service is absolutely amazing! I had a lot of questions and they were so fast to reply...even on nights & weekends! They helped me get everything set up and even migrated my current members over from another app. This app has everything I was looking for.... the options to set up discount codes and discounted memberships, the option to set members only products and pages, and the option to choose your own membership term lengths (I needed monthly, 3 month, 6 month, and year). I am very impressed with this app and the conjured staff.

I've been looking for a better way to do memberships with my website and I'm so happy with Conjured! I haven't officially launched the app yet so I can't speak about my long term experience with them BUT they were super super helpful setting up my site and worked all through the weekend to get my custom design set-up! I knew what I wanted it to look like and I just needed a little help from their engineers to get the HTML code working! They were so quick and made all the changes I needed!
