Mixtable Spreadsheet Editor

Is very good with all the changes they have implemented recently. You are able to extract all your product data, even shopify images url in columns for each and every single product. As well they have good support. I fully recommend it.

We're new to Mixtable. But this is proving to be a perfect addition to our workflow. So glad this app exists! Here's why... In the past I have messed up Shopify’s product variants by doing an export of our products to make bulk edits via spreadsheet, and then re-import the product list back to Shopify. However, Mixtable takes a different approach. It's a direct Two-Way Sync (No File Juggling): Instead of downloading a file, editing it on our desktop, and then hoping that during the re-import it doesn't mess up anything (Mixtable insulates you from all that). It opens live store data in an Excel/Google Sheets style interface inside the app. The changes we make go directly into cells, and when we click "Sync to Shopify" it all gets updated to the store. No chance for an error. We are getting upwards of 10,000 products now and in moving from Woocommerce to Shopify I was on the hunt a year a go for a live/sync'd excel style method to handle our data day to day. I work with it daily and could simply not operate without it (as I also find the bulk native Shopify method quite clunky and for whatever reason error prone). Having multiple tabs set up for my different operational views and edits makes life so much simpler. Highly recommend for handling large data sets. Have at it folks :)

OK, so... i have used many apps from the app store, and most I've had issues with, and just an overall messy, complicated experience, until now. So far so good. This app is simple to understand, everything is obvious and feels natural to use. This is my only review i have left for an app, and this one deserves it! Oh, and another BIG issue with apps is the pricing.. but again, this app ticks all the boxes and is reasonably priced. Mixtable is a fantastic app that streamlines our bulk pricing updates. It allows our brand & buying teams to focus on a single spreadsheet rather than multiple spreadsheets and manually updating Shopify. As we know, human error occurs with any manual tasks. We use Mixtable as a master database of all our product. It pulls data in an easy to read manner, including the numerous Metafields we've created in Shopify. Other apps made it hard to read Metafields when they were created at the SKU level (instead of Variant SKU). The Mixtable team has always been very helpful whenever we've needed specific support. Excellent app. It makes PDP creation so much more efficient and their support team is extremely responsive. I highly recommend this app for bulk editing. It has been a lifesaver.

I am delighted with the efficacy of Mixtable, I can see my inventory data in real time and make changes easily. I have complexities within my inventory as we sell in whole boxes and smaller portions, so the inventory goes down at different rates depending on what is purchased. I didn't want to spend hundreds on a complex inventory app and found Mixtable will let me add in unsynced columns to the real time worksheet, so I have made a workaround where I can measure online as "1 portion" and "1 box" but in my worksheet I can measure them as 0.1 and 1, for example, so I know accurately what stock I really have. The fact that this is real time is a godsend. I am also excited to get the analytics data up and running so I can edit my worksheet to also tell me what products I need to order, in real time, without any exporting data into excel templates and messing around with formulas there etc. This could save me hours of time each month. Wahoo!

We currently pay for the Plus Plan. This app simplifies many things and allows you to update Metafields in bulk, which I'm surprised is not part of Shopify's normal routine. I hope to see a few little things added, such as CTRL & Up/Down arrow working the same as a regular spreadsheet. I have recently had issues with speed. When I reached out, they said they have been a victim of their own success and were in the process of upgrading their servers to support their increased amount of business. I can confirm that speeds are back to how they used to be, which is good. App has a lot of potentials as they grow and tweak things. As an update, more recently, there have been quite a few errors. Now it just simply doesn't add the correct information. It only pushes part of the provided info and the rest doesn't work. This is forcing me to start searching for an alternative solution. (Update - This issue has also been corrected). I would suggest that they should test updates before pushing to a live status in the future.

Without this app, we would have to go in the back end of Shopify, navigate to an item's page, and edit there anytime we add, remove, or change the status. I'm sure it's saved hundreds of hours of work so far. When we had an issue recently, Daniel was quick to reply and to go in and fix it for us. Highly recommend the app, and the excellent customer service.

I had be looking high and low for an app that could bulk edit shopify pages! this is the only one i have found! and the service was amazing! they helped load the html code for the content of my over 11000 pages and I was able to bulk edit them all! This has saved me thousands of dollars and time! couldn't be happier!

We had a very specific need for this app regarding a barcode field needing fulfilling in a product catalogue of 13,000 skus (and growing every month). This seemed to be the only app that could bulk edit items in our Shopify product catalogue to such a specific degree. When we had concerns of how the app was functioning, Daniel from Mixtable support was so helpful and even had a zoom call so that I could better explain our issues. If you can figure out how to make this app work for you and your store, it can really fill the gap that Shopify leaves when managing your products.

Money grab, shitty app. You used Mixtable to update over 60,000 product metafields. As explained in our email conversation with you Mixtable updates metafields as fast as Shopify will take the updates, but Shopify has a "speed limit" as to how fast it will accept updates from us or any app. You were unhappy with how long things were taking, but it really wasn't our fault. Mixtable was pushing information as fast as possible within the Shopify speed limits. We were very professional in our exchange with you, even though you were quite rude. Also, this is a thoroughly unhelpful review. Done seven months after being a paid client on multiple stores, frequently using Mixtable, and remaining of paying client after this review.

Dreadful. Every time I used this editor a new issue would arise. It forced me to put all my variables next to each other in the spreadsheet for it to add them as variables and not individual products . Then when I came back the next day they were all separated and had new product titles. The customer service were really unhelpful and take far to long to reply. Simply don't use this app . As per our email conversation with you, the issue is that you were entering your product titles into the product handle column. We then sent your data to Shopify, and Shopify modified the handles to suit its data requirements. Because two products can't have the same handle, and your handle values had spaces, Shopify created individual products for each variant you were entering. We tried to explain this to you, but clearly could not explain it correctly. This behaviour is what you also get with the shopify CSV importer. Mixtable did exactly what you asked it to do. The help content on our website clearly explains the process for adding multiple variance for new existing products during product creation. Still, we are sad that we didn't deliver to your needs. As for support, we replied to your emails with an hour or so of seeing them. The only delay was on a few emails that you sent us at 2am our time - we are based in North America and you are in the UK.

I have tried other bulk-editing apps and this one is by far my favorite. You don't have to upload sheets. Everything from your catalog is right there in front of you for simple modifications and bulk edits. We have found Mixtable indispensable. We use it on two of our websites. Shopify is just not set up for large catalogs, but this app makes it possible. And if you have metafields, lots of them, you truly can't live without Mixtable. The functionality of the application seems to be compromised as it fails to load consistently across different browsers and IP connections. This unfortunate situation prevents us from clearly judging its performance or overall quality. We are currently unable to adequately evaluate the application's effectiveness or its potential benefits due to these persistent loading issues. Hi there. As explained in our email conversation thread you encountered a weird bug with the IMAGE formula that visually displays images within the spreadsheet. We addressed this bug promptly, released a fix, and your workbook opened fine. We sent a few follow-up emails about this, but received no reply from you.

Unfortunately this did not help with updating pricing, metadata or descriptions. Some pricing was updated and after multiple tries I gave up. Nice idea but poor execution. Hello there. Very sorry that you didn't get things to work, but we find your review a bit suspect. You uninstalled our app over a month ago and you never contacted our support for help with things apparently not working. Even though you were aware of our support option given your last email telling us that you'd like to cancel. We have a lot of users who use us on a daily basis to update metafields and prices (these are very frequent uses cases), and it's been a very long time since there have been any issues/bugs on this front.

The absolute BEST money we spent on store setup. If you have bulk editing to do, get this app immediately. The app really shines in its ability to edit almost anything about your product. Bulk editing of simple things such as categories is great, sure. But the spreadsheet functionality is just insanely helpful. Add columns just to store data, run formulas, combine columns . . . it's unbellievable. And then sync it up and seconds later your whole store is up to date. And even more (yes, there's more), you can edit other content that is impossible to do elsewhere, such as metafields! This alone is just a slam dunk. It's impossible to overstate how amazing this app is if you have lots of editing to do.

We use this app to bulk edit products and metafields. It has been a great way to do bulk editing. It is nice because it feels like the spreadsheets our employees are already familiar with. STAY AWAY FROM THIS APP! It completely mangled my product data, and there is no undo once you update. I have ~1500 products in my store, and was looking for a way to bulk update metadata fields. First, my vendor data got overwritten by one of the metadata fields. First one is on me. Maybe I wasn't careful enough with my formulas and updating. Second time, trying to fix the mess that was made, I carefully exported from Mixtable to a Google Sheet, made all my changes there, and then cut and paste it back to Mixtable. I triple checked the columns lined up, and went row by row to make sure Mixtable matched my Sheet before I updated. Didn't matter. About 20% of my products ended up with the wrong data associated with them in Shopify. I went back to my sheet and Mixtable to make sure I had everything right. I did. But the data that was updated in my Shopify store was still wrong. This app is a great idea (honestly, bulk updating metafields should be built into Shopify), but it is not ready for prime time. If you care at all about the integrity of your data STAY AWAY!

Without Mixtable I have no idea how would I be able to handle thousands of products at once as Shopifiy's product editing platform does not support things like: filtering in metafields, filtering and adding tags accurately(Shopify's product search is RUBISH, not accurate), assigning/removing products to collections... there is so so many things that you can do here!... in Shopify you can only search in the product description and based on that you can add tags or assign them to collection but in most cases the info you need won't be in the description... This product is so underrated... 10 STARS!!!

We used Mixtable to bulk edit SEO Meta to disable search and search engine indexing of our products. Would have taken forever to edit all our products one at a time but with Mixtable it was a snap!

But i cant contact you guys, i sent at least 5 message to you, i really like this app, and after my trail finished, i upgraded my plan, but the 'upgrade' warning still keep poping up, and at your admin panel it still showing that i should upgrade, hope you guys solve this bug, it is making some nagative effects to my working progress right now. This app has potential. Having spent a week looking at various options to make product information management easier and after comparing Shopify apps as well as external PIM SaaS solutions, some that are very expensive compared to Mixtable. I have concluded that Mixtable does have some potential if you are looking to move away from using a spreadsheet and storing your product information in a database. Its hybrid approach has benefits for those looking to use formulas like they have for calculating pricing with cost, margin and markup to determine sell price. The PIM solutions I have tested don't do this as easily as using simple formulas in a spreadsheet, nor do they offer you a view on one page where you can see lots of rows of products and a relatively way to easily edit product attributes in bulk. Mixtable is nearly there but the syncing of the data does seem extremely slow. Not sure if its the server infrastructure they are using? AirPower and AirTable work much better but formulas are a PITA. Mixtable is on the right track to offering a great product, but I believe more work needs to be done to get the product where it needs to be.
